Beautiful Manor House, with 400m2, very private, also extremely well located for excursions both up and down the Costa Verde being about 120km from Spain and 20km from Oporto. If you like dining beside the River Douro at Ribeira, 20 minutes it's how long it takes once you get use to the roads. Outside there is a 10 x 5m swimming pool, toilet, shower and a large covered sitting area, which is useful during peak sun hours where you can enjoy your meals and watch the kids in the pool. If you prefer the beach, Praia D'AREIA is only 2km down the road where you also find small shops, restaurants and supermarket. Bigger supermarkets, restaurants, boutiques etc are available 5km in the town of Vila do Conde, including the famous 'MARKET' on Friday morning. The grounds with 10000m2 are ideal and safe for children to run around. There are also orange, lemon and fruit trees in the garden from which, subject to season, you can help yourself and make lovely juices. Please note that prices are based on 10 people, extra charge per person up to 5 and open loft room, under 3 are free. The central heating is charged separately at €180 per week.

- "We absolutely loved our stay 29th July-5th Aug. We were a family of 8 - 5 adults and 3 kids. The Villa had everything you could need. The welcome from Joao was perfect and he even took the blokes to the local shop so we could get our essentials even though our flight had already been delayed. The welcome hamper was awesome and the hosts really do go above and beyond. We had fantastic days in the pool and awesome meals out in the local area and further a field. I would recommend hiring a car if you are considering it. We didn’t have a car and the local village was walkable and the metro was easy to get to but the local roads have narrow footpaths. Hiring a car definitely isn’t essential and we had a fabulous time without one. We used a Uber a couple of times and it was cheap to do. My mum has had a knee replacement so on the odd occasion we ubered instead of walked. We would recommend going to the local bakery (every morning for breakfast! Just around the corner), visit the local village, visit Vila do conde and visit Porto. We ate at some lovely places but our last night we went to Guia in Vila do conde. The meal probably cost the same amount as the rest of the week (food prices are really really reasonable) but it was worth it for the view and great food. The best bit of the whole holiday was definitely chilling by the pool and watching the kids play in the spectacular grounds. We will definitely be back. Thank you."

This property is in the center of a small city, and is a Villa with 12.500 m2.; Some buildings in the property are dated from 1740. The Villa used to be a farm with 100.000 m2. In the end of the past century, the property size was reduced, allowing us to take a better care of the beautiful gardens, the swimming pool and tennis court areas, and the decoration. A car trip from the villa to the downtown area of Porto takes 12 minutes (17 km), and the Atlantic coast and sandy beaches are 20 minutes (22 km) from the villa. The villa is totally modern and renovated and we take a lot of pride in the decoration and materials made available to our guests. The five rooms are devided in two separated houses. The 'Swimming Pool House', has two en-suite rooms on the 1st. floor, with views of the swimming pool area and it's garden, and the 'Cottage House', just five meters across, with three rooms, two on the 1st. floor and one on the ground floor. This house has one full bathroom on the 1st. floor and another, very spacious and modern full bathroom on the ground floor. We consider our rental ideal for groups of more than one family, but it is also very interesting for a single couple that want's a beatiful experience of staying in a large property.
There is free wi-fi in all rooms and inside areas, as well as outside, in the gardens. The parking is free and there is a lot of spaces available for that, and also a closed garage just for the guests vars. Children's cod's and high chairs are also available without any extra-charge.
There are two supermarkets at close, walking distance (Intermarché and Minipreço), as well as bakeries, restaurants and take aways barbecue, pizza hut delivery, ATM machines and banks...
