Treasure of a cute little place." - "Having survived the interesting approach lane to the Studio we found a quiet and quite comfortable little hideaway. The sleeping arrangements required a certain amount of agility to access the upper bedroom and an acceptance of being woken very early by the absence of any curtains or blinds. The major concern, however, was the state of the electrics as indicated by the lack of working lights in both kitchen and sitting areas due to the absence of bulbs in the broken bayonet fittings !! What was of equal concern was that when this was pointed out the gardener, rather than an electrician, was called in to replace the fittings. Despite this the Studio offers a convenient staging point from which to explore this delightful part of the country though not for anyone unsure of their footing ."
