- "Our stay at this hotel was thoroughly enjoyable, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The hotel itself is steeped in history and Cornish charm, having been built in 1838. It is located in the picturesque village of Zennor, which is situated between the rugged moors and granite cliffs of Cornwall's far west. One of the highlights of the location is the connection with the book "The White Horse of Zennor" by Michael Morpurgo; which is a children's novel that tells the story of a young boy who discovers a mysterious carving of a white horse in the church at Zennor. The carving is said to have magical powers, and the boy becomes obsessed with unraveling the mystery of its origin. Whilst we could not find a carving of a horse in the nearby St. Senara's church, it is home to the famous Mermaid of Zennor carving. The Tinners Arms next door had a great atmosphere and we enjoyed some delicious food. We also visited the ice cream shop, which was a perfect treat after a day of walking the south west coast path. We noticed that many of the other guests staying at The White House were also walking the coast path, so it seems like a popular place to stay for those exploring the area on foot. Overall, we had a fantastic stay at The White House, and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cornwall. The location, history, and local amenities make it an ideal base for exploring the beautiful and unspoilt far west of Cornwall."

The Old Vicarage is a 4 Star family-run Guest House in St. Ives, Cornwall. Set in its own peaceful and secluded wooded grounds with ample free parking, we are located in a quiet residential area near the coastal path just over half a mile from the town centre and beaches.
Renowned for its friendly atmosphere with the warmest of welcomes, this 150 year old one-time Victorian Rectory now has every modern convenience and yet retains the charm and features of the mid 19th Century.

The space
Set in its own peaceful grounds with ample free parking, the Old Vicarage is situated in a quiet residential area on the western edge of town. Close to the coast path and walking distance to the town centre and beaches.

All the bedrooms are tastefully decorated with every modern convenience, all are fully en-suite with showers and three also have a bath. We are also able to offer a king-size bed in one of our larger bedrooms. You are welcome to make use of our bar, residents lounge and relax in our own pleasant, peaceful gardens.

Guest access
Our guests are given a key to the front door which allows access into the building at any time of day or night. There is access to the lounge, honesty bar and large secluded gardens at all times.

During your stay
Your hosts Dianne and Martin live onsite and unless we are occasionally absent from the property, we will be available to attend to any needs or concerns you may have during your stay. When we are out, we can be contacted via our mobile phones, the numbers can be found in the welcome folder in the bedroom.
All our guests have their own key to the front door which allows access into the property at all times.

Perfect space for couples. One bedroom with king sized bed with the only shower room being en-suite to it. Can comfortably accommodates up to 2 extra people on the sofa bed in the living room (small double at £10 pppn). With good local amenities, access into St Ives is really easy. Garden views with sea glimpses from the balcony. There are 3 or 4 steps to access. Parking for one car on the drive. Great location for St Ives. Pets considered at extra £20 per stay, cost to be applied separately.

The space
The Boat House is a self contained annexe adjacent to the house, nestled in the garden which provides pretty garden views and backing onto a wooded area. The apartment has a light, bright and airy feel. It is comfortable and inviting while being a really good base from which to explore St Ives and the surrounding area. It is centrally heated, so comfortable for both summer and winter stays. The location is ideal for those looking for a fun packed outdoors holiday full of surf and sun, as well as those who prefer, galleries, shops and good food.

Guest access
The Boat House is self contained. It has it's own access, you will be given keys and can come and go as you please. There are 3 steps into the property and the driveway is a little uneven in places so please take care. The is parking for one vehicle on the drive. EV Charger available upon request, a fee of 0.55p kwh to be charged separately

The immediate area is residential so please respect the neighbours. I supply bathroom towels but you may want to bring beach towels. I also supply a starter pack of tea, coffee, milk and sugar and toilet roll.
