My family home is in the pretty village of Polruan at the mouth of the Fowey estuary looking out to the ocean. A short walk downhill will bring you to the Quayside and local beach.
I offer every comfort for a memorable stay with free car parking and plenty of space to relax. Enjoy my bed and breakfast with harbour views.
The King sized bedroom has a sofa, private shower and corner bathroom. *I have other rooms by arrangement.

The space
My family home has been modernised inside and will offer you a comfortable, relaxing stay - a home from home!
There is a light and airy sitting room, with views over the river and ocean, furnished with comfortable sofas, a cuddle chair, large smart tv with SkyQ, Netflix and a BluRay plus an assortment of films on disc. There is also comfortable seating in the conservatory leading from the kitchen, overlooking the back garden, where you can relax with a book or listen to music. Your room, with rear garden views, is equipped with a king sized bed, wardrobe, 2 chests of drawers, larder fridge and a 2 seater sofa. There is a wall mounted large flat screen tv with SkyQ, Netflix and a DVD player with a wide variety of films for you to enjoy with a chilled drink from your fridge! I also have unlimited WiFi access which is available to my guests throughout the property.
The renovated bathroom is equipped to a high standard with a jacuzzi corner bath and a walk in digital shower which you can customise and preset remotely from your bedroom to ensure the perfect shower experience. My property is double glazed throughout with oil fired central heating and a combi boiler which provides hot water on demand.

The lounge, kitchen and quiet gardens. The back garden is laid to lawn with a 2 seater swing seat on the deck installed in 2021, great for reading a book and enjoying a sundowner at the end of a busy day! There is a large patio at the front right hand side of the property equipped with a dining table which comfortably seats 6 people with an umbrella for hot, sunny days plus a solar powered water feature with ambient solar lighting for when the sun goes down. I've added a 2 level terrace and patio area on the other side of the upper front garden this year with a variety of furniture including a comfortable long rattan corner sofa, Sun loungers and a chunky teak bench which increases the number of outside spaces to enjoy and complements the al fresco dining area. All of the garden areas enjoy sun at different times throughout the day.....so you can relax in your sunny or shaded area of choice whenever you wish :)

During your stay
I will be available at various times every day if you need some advice re eateries, places to visit, local coastal and riverside walks or simply to have a chat!

*Whilst there are 2 other bedrooms on the ground floor I do not usually let them unless e.g. it is for a family who need extra space which I may be able to accommodate. Please contact me for details if required.

The kitchen: modern, stylish and well equipped it has everything you need for your stay including; a cafetiere, toaster, kettle, induction hob, sink, full size fan oven, integral microwave , full size dishwasher and generous fridge with freezer compartment.

Coffee , tea bags , sugar and a pint of milk on your arrival .

Dine at the breakfast bar whilst enjoying the scenery through the french doors.

The bedroom: a cosy double bed to snuggle into with all linen and towels provided. Hanging space is easily accessed for your convenience and there are USB charging points either side of the bed with a countryside view to enjoy.

The bathroom : is very well equipped and features a luxury walk in wet - room with a rainfall shower, vanity unit, toilet, heated towel rail and hairdryer.

Outside space : you are welcome to use your own private deck area situated via the patio doors to the rear of Little Barn to enjoy the countryside views and maybe even spot a deer or the local barn owl!

Little Barn is a non smoking property and we do not allow BBQ's due to proximity to farm land.

Little Ardwyn is a newly completed self contained log cabin with beautiful views overlooking the river Fowey. While compact, it is well designed and modern, with open plan living, featuring superfast broadband, smart tv, king size bed, fold away table, kitchen and separate shower room and under floor heating. It has large patio doors which open onto a good sized private patio, with comfortable furniture, bbq and fire pit where the river views can be enjoyed. Off road parking is provided to guest

The space
Little Ardwyn is situated alongside our home and within our garden. Access is shared from the driveway and through the back garden however care has been taken to provide little Ardwyn with its own private entrance within the garden. It also benefits from a private patio area.

The Cabin is a new venture for us and as such everything was new when we first opened at the end of June 2021. It is an open plan design with separate bathroom. It has oak flooring (slate in the bathroom) with underfloor heating, king size bed, smart TV, superfast broadband, kitchen (built in fridge, full size oven, hob and sink) bathroom has Mira power shower, toilet and sink.

Stay in our luxury Garden Summerhouse Annexe Suite, located inside a converted Victorian School grounds, situated on the slopes of the harbour town of Fowey with incredible views and amazing lush tropical gardens.

Relax while taking in the scenery - The main village and attractions are only a 5-minute walk away - the 'Old School Studios' are a perfect location for your trip to Cornwall.

A self-contained Summerhouse annexe is perfect for family vacations, a couple's getaway, or business trips.

The space
Our recently renovated Victorian school is unique, spacious and bright. You’ll be blown away by gorgeous Victorian architecture and industrial interior design.

Inside our summerhouse Annexe, there is a fully equipped kitchen. The property includes a full-sized bathroom with a shower and bath facilities. For entertainment, there is a large TV with Netflix.

Our annexe faces out onto gorgeous gardens for serene views. There are also entertaining spaces both inside and outside the property.

The harbour town of Fowey is just 100m away

Relax in our lovely self contained annex in the quiet hamlet of Lanteglos Highway the other side of the river from Fowey.
Note: (To get to Fowey you have to cross the ferry). Guests have sole use of the purpose built annex with private access, garden, patio and driveway. We welcome 4 legged friends and have our own dogs that are very used to visitors.
There is a lovely woodland walk 10 minutes away which leads to the stunning Hall Walk above the river Fowey or the cliff path to Polruan.

The space
Cosy 2 bedrooms - one has a king-size bed the other has two single beds.
Two bathrooms one of which is ensuite, consists of two shower units, toilets and hand wash basins but no bath, both with electrical points for shavers. A stool for the shower is available on request for those with mobility issues.
Kitchen/ lounge /diner, open planned spacious area perfect for relaxing.
The master bedroom will fit a compact travel cot up to 60cm wide which we have available if required on request. The single bedroom is suitable for 2 children. Please also be aware that bedroom storage and floor space is limited.

Onsite parking. Level access through the patio doors makes the property easy accessible if required.

We would like to point out that this location is not in Fowey, it is situated over the Bodinnick ferry on the Polruan side of the river.
