- "Please BEWARE when dealing with the owner. We rented this location, contacted the owner for directions but Indicated he was not available till 6:30. By this time it was already dark. He agreed to meet at a bakery near the house so we began to drive over. It was at this point we realized it was very high up in the mountains. Not only is it very far from everything, driving in the dark up there was unsettling. We eventually met up with the owner and he stated the house was another 5 minutes away. My husband, who is in law enforcement found this to very strange and made the decision to immediately cancel. I explained to the owner that our car was overheating and the location was quite far. He responded by saying, “I understand it’s far, don’t worry. When Expedia submits the case I will immediately return your money.” Today we were advised by Expedia he declined to return the money. I would have preferred he just tell us he was not returning the money. As stated before, the whole situation seemed out of the norm for us. We have never come across something g such as this, and we travel quite a bit. Not providing the address was an immediate red flag. I would absolutely stay away from this one!"

This property is located on Camino Playa where there is a strip of local bar/restaurants withing walking distance. You could also take photos with the art pieces located along the coast from the "Guardianes de la Costa of Aguada Crasftmans" (Guardian of the Coast).

From the gate to the right at about a 10 minute walk from the house there is the Puerta del Descubrimiento plaza, where you could take a free trolley ride to town center, supermarkets, etc. The Trolley runs Monday thru Friday from 7:00am to 3:00pm. No service on weekends. On Saturdays afternoon there is a Craftsman's shop where you could buy hand made souvenirs, specialty candy, breads and more.

To the left of the gate , at walking distance there is Pico Piedra beach with gazebos, showers, bathrooms, etc.

To either side from the gate you will find bar, restaurants, Tip Top Acai bowls and a lot more.

Everything you could possibly need was provided for us in the apartment. Miggie had waters already in the fridge getting cold for us. We were comfortable and felt at home. GETTING AROUND

A car is necessary to explore Aguada and its beaches. The Aguada Ocean Club building has six apartments, but only five parking spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis. If all spaces are full, you can park across the street, ensuring not to block any vehicles.

Aguada shares a coastline with Aguadilla and Rincón, known for stunning beaches. Highlights include:

Balneario Pico de Piedra (Aguada): Ideal for swimming and family outings.

Table Rock Beach (Aguada): This one is located steps from the building but is more of a surfers' beach with waves for experienced surfers only.

Rompeolas and Crashboat Beach (Aguadilla): Offers some of the clearest water along the northwest coast of Puerto Rico, with gorgeous shades of turquoise. - 20 minutes away

Sandy and Maria’s Beach (Rincón): These are a favorite among the surfers, where several surfing instructors take visitors to learn to surf. You can rent surfing equipment on site. - 25 minutes away.

- Check-In: Begins at 4:00 PM
- Check-Out: Until 11:00 AM
- Max Occupancy: No more than 4 adults/children allowed at any time. This includes visitors. Maximum occupancy is strictly enforced, and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property.
- NO SMOKING: $500 fee for violations. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the apartment, balcony, and building common areas.
- NO PETS: No pets are allowed at any time. There is a $300 fine for violations and will need to leave the unit.
- Quiet Hours: 10 PM to 8 AM. No parties or loud activities.
All bookings are contingent on signing a short-term rental agreement sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first.
- Towels and Linens: Must be used appropriately. Do not use towels to clean up any mess; stained towels/linens will be charged. Stained items will incur charges.
- Subletting: Not allowed.
- Balcony Use: No hanging towels from the balcony or windows.

Pico de Piedras (BC's) -The Aguada public beach, from the 115 south, take a right at Balneario after passing through Aguada, public parking and rest rooms. An exposed beach and reef break that has consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. Offshore winds blow from the southeast. The ideal swell angle is from the north. There are left and right breaking reefs. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide.

Downtown Aguada is 5 min away and Downtown Rincon is only 15 Minutes away by car.

There are parking spaces for 2 vehicles, and there is plenty of outside parking as well. There is also a separate entrance to each unit providing privacy for each family who intends to visit!

- "I stayed here with my husband and another couple(friends). The place is exactly as it is advertised. Very clean and very comfortable. I was impressed with the condo and the location. I would highly recommend. Now although I gave it a five star rating I would recommend a couple of things. We stayed one full week and wished we had more towels or wish there was a washer/dryer. There was air conditioner in the rooms but none in the living room and yes there are doors that open for an ocean breeze but then you end up with a bug problem. So an air conditioner unit would be perfect in the living room space. Other than that our stay was wonderful and would stay again in the future."

In both units, the ONLY issue that we found, was that the kitchens are under stocked as far as cooking goes. GETTING AROUND

A car is necessary to explore Aguada and its beaches. The Aguada Ocean Club building has six apartments, but only five parking spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis. If all spaces are full, you can park across the street, ensuring not to block any vehicles.

Aguada shares a coastline with Aguadilla and Rincón, known for stunning beaches. Highlights include:

Balneario Pico de Piedra (Aguada): Ideal for swimming and family outings.

Table Rock Beach (Aguada): This one is located steps from the building but is more of a surfers' beach with waves for experienced surfers only.

Rompeolas and Crashboat Beach (Aguadilla): Offers some of the clearest water along the northwest coast of Puerto Rico, with gorgeous shades of turquoise. - 20 minutes away

Sandy and Maria’s Beach (Rincón): These are a favorite among the surfers, where several surfing instructors take visitors to learn to surf. You can rent surfing equipment on site. - 25 minutes away.

Domes Beach:(Rincón): Also known as Lighthouse Beach. Great surfing action all year, a popular spot to watch the sunset and for loungers wishing to enjoy the sound of the waves. - 25 minutes away.

The PR-115 road leads to Pico de Piedra beach, branching off to Rincón and Aguada. Along this route, explore numerous oceanfront restaurants and bars. Don’t miss La Cruz de Colón, marking Columbus's disembarkation in 1493.

HOUSE RULES

- Check-In: Begins at 4:00 PM
- Check-Out: Until 11:00 AM
- Max Occupancy: No more than 4 adults/children allowed at any time. This includes visitors. Maximum occupancy is strictly enforced, and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property.
- NO SMOKING: $500 fee for violations. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the apartment, balcony, and building common areas.
- NO PETS: No pets are allowed at any time. There is a $300 fine for violations and will need to leave the unit.
- Quiet Hours: 10 PM to 8 AM. No parties or loud activities.
All bookings are contingent on signing a short-term rental agreement sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first.
- Towels and Linens: Must be used appropriately. Do not use towels to clean up any mess; stained towels/linens will be charged. Stained items will incur charges.
- Subletting: Not allowed.
- Balcony Use: No hanging towels from the balcony or windows.

• Security & Access: For your safety, we change the lock code after every guest.
• Bed Height: Please review the photos, as the beds are high.
• Check-in & Check-out: Check-in is available from 3:00 PM onward (early check-in is not available). You may arrive at any time after 3:00 PM; however, check-out is strictly at 10:00 AM. Late check-outs are not possible, as our cleaning staff arrives promptly at this time. Our cleaner is a student with another job, so we must adhere to this schedule.

Other Information & Rules:
• No Smoking, Weed, or Cannabis Use: Smoking or using marijuana/cannabis inside or near the apartment is strictly prohibited. A $80 cleaning fee will be charged for any violations, as the odor is difficult to remove and unpleasant for future guests.
• No Flat Sheets Provided.
• Guests are responsible for any damaged or stained bed sheets, towels, or other items within the property. A replacement or damage fee will be charged accordingly.
• As seen on the pictures the only window is in the bathroom.

Please be advised that we are located on a Caribbean island, which means that natural events such as hurricanes, as well as other unforeseen circumstances, COVID-19, can occur. This policy also applies to any changes, including date modifications, as we do not allow adjustments to existing reservations.

Beautiful and peaceful apartment centrally located on the laid back west side of the island, in Aguada, PR. Approx 8 minutes from the coast and very easy driving distance to famous beaches and surf spots in Aguada, Rincon, Aguadilla, and Jobos. This apartment is located on a hillside overlooking the mountains and the old sugar cane factory "Central Coloso." This boutique apartment is perfect for couples to come and relax and get away. There is also a futon bed to accommodate additional guests. It is located in a peaceful place but still close to everything, cool bars and restaurants.

From the living room and kitchen window, you can enjoy the mountain views and enjoy the natural lighting that fills the apartment.

Inside this one bedroom, one bathroom apartment, there is a full kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, stove, an oven, and a Keurig coffee machine.

We have a full bathroom with beautiful shower, or feel free to take a shower under the stars with our outdoor shower on our private patio.

We have a comfortable sofa where you can enjoy a movie or two and we have wifi and Netflix.

PLEASE NOTE:

This stay is a budget friendly/economical stay but with 5 star amenities. It does have air conditioning, TV, full kitchen, full bathroom and hot water. With all of these amenities, please note it is located off a main road down the valley. 90% of the time it is very peaceful, however, 10% of the time you can hear the reggaeton and island noises (if you are native to the island you already know ;) ) We are also located en un monte, there are lizards and bugs outside..We fumigate every few months, but sometimes small harmless bugs enter the apartment. This is a tropical island. I provide the best service and want your stay to be 5 star! Everything is always extremely clean and I am available or my team is available to accommodate your needs. Please keep in mind, while this is truly a comfortable 5 star stay, it is for people that can handle a little tropical island adventure /experience and is reflected in the economic price.

Getting around this side of the island is best if you rent a car. Taxi services can be hit or miss. There is NO UBER or Lyft.
Cars can be rented close to the Aguadilla Airport.

11. SUITCASES:

I have an area available inside this building to store empty suitcases / baggage so you could be more comfortable inside the apartment.  The day before your departure (check-out) you notify me at what time you want to be return it.

Turn the knob to the left and let the water run for a little while so you can enjoy a hot shower. With the same knob, you can adjust the temperature of the water by turning it slightly to the right. Please, nothing inside the toilet bowl. Use the trash can near the toilet bowl. The bathroom area don't have privacy. The shower have a door and the toilet area a curtain. 6. BATH TOWEL / FLAT SHEET:

Conveniently located 5 minutes to Pico de Piedra Beach and the coastline where you can find sports bars, restaurants and scenic views. Also, close to bakeries, pharmacies, supermarkets and shopping. Rincón is our neighbor town know for it's surfing beaches like Domes and Steps beach at approximately 10 to 15 minutes including the Lighthouse and the plaza.
