- "The property is well located and modern. However as the former guests had vacated the apartment several days earlier the building’s heating system was turned off, and only turned back on once we checked in. As the apartment is on the ground floor and a large portion is below ground in this lovely old building the apartment never really warmed up. Combined with warm Autumn days and cold nights the heating shut down during the day and never reached a comfortable temperature in the evenings. A service technician attended the property and adjusted the system. By the time we left the place was warmer. Unfortunately the bathroom heated towel rack was broken awaiting parts so this didn’t help. Stayz which is part of FeWo showed that the property has a washing machine and clothes dryer. What it didn’t show was that they are locked away in the cellar, require you to contact the owner and arrange a time for someone to come unlock the cellar, give you access and then want to charge you €10! There seems to be a problem with the omissions on the English site as to what is written on the German site! A few other points to note were in relation the coffee machine( The type of machine uses a very specific pod only available in only one supermarket several kilometres away) In order to avail yourself of the Car parking concession offered by the local council for visitors to the region you need to go into town and purchase a weekly concession ticket. This works well however was not easy to understand. All in all better explanations on or before arrival, and if visiting in colder times of the year make sure that the heating system has been turned on prior to your arrival.Hopefully the above helps future guests as well as the owner."

the 2-room apartment is currently only suitable for craftsmen. Due to water damage, the walls in the bathroom are visually damaged.

It is located in the Holzmarkt and is therefore very centrally located.
The transport connection is optimal and parking is possible in the immediate vicinity of the Old Town parking garage - about 30 meters.

The apartment has two bedrooms with a total of 7 single beds (80/90 x 200 cm).
Some of the rooms are rented individually. However, the apartment can be booked in full if both rooms are available. If you want to book the entire accommodation, please be sure to ask before booking. Otherwise, there is no entitlement to the entire apartment (especially if other guests have already booked a room).
The kitchen is equipped with the usual appliances (fridge, freezer, coffee maker, toaster, microwave and sink.

For a small fee (50 cents - coins are required) you can wash and dry the laundry in your own bathroom.

During the day, she convinces with her very bright character and thoughtful design. The warm lighting concept ensures that you can make yourself comfortable in the evening and spend a nice evening together. Two separate bedrooms each allow for a comfortable retreat.

Since the property is located on a hillside with a panoramic view of the city, this can be reached via a long staircase (not accessible). Booking is recommended only for physically fit people:-)

This small apartment is very special. You sleep head to head with the historic city wall. It is freshly plastered with climate-friendly clay and is much older than the house dated 1750. Until 1897, the "Städtische Fasseiche" was housed in these rooms, a calibration office for barrels. Today, supporting concrete walls and the original floor of so-called Bachwacken, which have been polished bare over the centuries, in an exciting contrast to each other.

The space
In hot summers it stays pleasantly cool here, in the other seasons modern infrared heating provides soothing, healthy radiant heat. In sub-zero temperatures outside, it can be a bit cold in winter. 2 pairs of slippers are available, but it would be better to bring your own or a pair of thick socks.

And another note about the bed: you have to be a bit flexible, because you can only get in from the foot end.

The natural location in the old town offers tranquility and multicultural life at the same time.

A footbridge over the Ellerbach to the nearby playground, the cycle path from the Nahequelle to the mouth in Bingen, right in front of the door, stairs down to the water, shops, pharmacy, everything you need, in the immediate vicinity. The spa area and the famous bridge houses are also within walking distance.

By car or train you are within half an hour or a full hour on the Rhine or the Hunsrück-Nahe National Park.

The house can be approached for loading and unloading. Otherwise, there are some paid parking spaces in the immediate vicinity, a few minutes away a parking garage and a free parking space.

The city charges a tourist tax of €3.50 per guest per night, which is payable to me at the beginning of the stay. There are discounts and free travel by bus and train.

You have this completely closed apartment on the first floor all to yourselves. I live above it.
You can get the key from the key safe, but I'd be happy to greet you in person if I'm not traveling.

Then I'll also be happy to pick you up in one of the old town alleys if the navigation system has led you astray. Unfortunately, this happens very often, because this is a street only for residents.

Other things to note
The city of Bad Kreuznach charges a tourist tax, which I have to collect from my guests upon arrival. It is EUR 3.50 per guest per night. There are some discounts, e.g. in restaurants, cultural or tourist offers.

If you come by car, you can unload or unload at the house. I can then provide you with detailed information about the various paid and free parking options.

The space
We offer a modern and premium furnished apartment of 50 square meters size, including free TV, Internet and parking in front of the house. Our place is quiet and close to town at the same time. The pedestrian zone of the beautiful spa town Bad Kreuznach is only a 10 minutes walk away from the apartment and the next vineyards only 5 minutes.

The apartment has a large fully equipped kitchen with seating, a light bathroom, a cozy bed / living room with double bed, dressing room and mirror. Bed linen, fresh towels and bath accessories are included in the rent. On request we can provide you with ironing board and iron or a baby bed. We usually accomodate 2 guests, a third guest could also stay in the apartment upon request.

In close proximity to our basement apartment you will find the city center, bath house, Crucenia Therme (don't forget your bikini & swimsuit!), salt caves, Radonstollen, Castle Park Museum and the spa gardens. It's an easy and short walk into Bad Kreuznachs town centre and to the bridge houses. The transport connection to the main roads A61 and B41 is almost ideal.

As Bad Kreuznach is surrounded by many interesting cities such as Wiesbaden, Mainz, Trier, Heidelberg, Mannheim, Bad Sobernheim, Bingen or Ruedesheim am Rhein, it is a perfect starting point for all kinds of day-trips. It's also an only one hour drive to the airports Frankfurt or Frankfurt-Hahn.

Thanks to its close junction to the Mainz train station, the city is fastly and almost around the clock accessible by public transportation (via regional train in only about 30 minutes).
