There was an 'Essentials' room on the 6th floor, which was intermittently stocked - the first time we visited there was no milk, but there was on the second time. Unfortunately two out of three lifts were out of order. This often led to queues for the lift. In addition, the pin code system required to operate the lift repeatedly failed to work, stopping us from going to the correct floor. Stairs were available but being on the 9th floor, it was easier just to wait. Slightly unclear about the method of entry to the building in advance, as we were sent information implying the requirement of a check-in process when one did not exist. However, this was relatively minor, and overall, the stay was good. "

There’s also tons of walking paths nearby. We walked all the way to the famous cathedral. The only down side is there is no one at the reception and it is self check in. My code was not working and my international calling to call the receptionist wasn’t working either. Luckily my husband's phone was working so we were able to get someone to let us in our room at 9 pm. You also have to ask every time to access the elevator to get to your room."

We have created a practical and centrally located retreat here in the trendy neighboring town of Cologne (smooth transition). We have taken care to provide high-quality furnishings and feel-good decor. The apartment offers 2 bedrooms, each with a king-size box-spring bed (180x200) with the best mattress, great topper, 1 large and 1 small pillow for the highest demands. Allergy-friendly bedding from Schiesser provides the right cozy factor. In one of the two bedrooms there is a 90x200 single bed of equally high quality. In the very large living room combined with a great kitchen and large dining table there is a large sofa corner with electric fireplace, 55 inch TV for great group evenings. You can use the apartment in a relaxed manner with 4-6 people and even go up to 9 people if necessary. 2 sofa beds can be converted into high-quality queen-size beds (140x200cm) for 2 people each with a cozy topper.

We have created a practical and centrally located retreat here in the trendy neighboring town of Cologne (smooth transition). We have taken care to provide high-quality furnishings and feel-good decor. We rent our small but nice and tastefully furnished 33sqm apartment to fair guests, tourists, families and mechanics. The apartment consists of a bedroom (1.80 m double bed) and a living-dining area with beautiful, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower. The couch in the living room can be folded out. Two more people could sleep on the sofa bed.
The apartment is very cozy and modern. The house is a new building, so the apartment is also in mint condition.
It is located in the development area and therefore the environment is still a bit desolate, because some houses are still in the middle of construction. Even the Navi makes problems for some people! The outdoor area can already be used, but is not yet planted due to the construction site. Nevertheless, we feel our house as a small oasis.

The space
This house is a beautiful old villa right in the heart of Horrem. It is a three storie building with a balcony on the second floor and a little garden area in front of the house. Since the house is build in the former way, the rooms have high ceilings and lots of light coming through the windows. Of course you will find scratches here and there, especially the stairs look slightly worn. But that is also part of what creates the charme of this building.
The rooms have modern furniture and the kitchen contains a new fridge, a washing machine and everything else that is needed for cooking.

The kitchen and the bathrooms are on the second floor. You will share them with the other guests of the house.
