- "This was the worst experience we’ve ever had staying in a rental…ever. First, no one came to greet us and we had a difficult time getting accurate check in instructions. More importantly, despite assurances ahead of time that the apartment is clean and despite a cleaning fee and online description that the apartment is “professionally clean,” it was absolutely filthy and unsanitary. The beddings and pillows were stained and dirty. In the kitchen, appliances were dirty, with crusted food in the microwave; kitchen cupboards were dirty; fridge had hair in it; and there was a very potent sewer smell coming from the cabinet under the sink. In the bathroom, there was hair in the shower and on the floor, and the toilet was dirty. The apartment was simply not sanitary and it was not possible to stay there. We contacted the hosts to ask that the apartment be cleaned but they adamantly refused to clean or to cancel the reservation. We contacted Expedia and the hosts refused to the Expedia representative to clean or cancel the reservation. The host also threatened to keep the deposit if we did not return the key after they learned that we moved out after the first night even though we paid for two weeks. We did not get adequate help from Expedia so are now exploring other remedies. On this trip, we stayed in multiple other apartments/accommodations and had great experiences. This was a horrific experience. Do not deal with these dishonest hosts. "

After moving abroad we found it a pity that my childhood bedroom is empty most of the time, so we decided to give others the chance to enjoy a typical Belgradian appartment placed in the centre of Novi Beograd (New Belgrade).

The room has aircondition for the hot Serbian summer, a TV with a lot of channels and good WI-FI connection. The bathroom with a washing machine and a fully equipped kitchen is shared with my mother, and you may use it as you please.

The space
The appartment is located in New Belgrade, only 7 minute car-ride to the city centre, with all it has to offer. There is also a bus stop right outside the building and it takes around 12 minutes with a bus to the centre. The bus to the airport is at the same stop. The buses can take you to every area of the city, for instance all the Belgradian rivers, Ada Lake, Zemun, Belgrade port and the Kalemegdan Fortress.
You can park your car on all parking spots around the building and block.
Right outside the building you can find a 24-hour store, a pharmacy, a bank with ATM and an exchange office. It's a five minute walk to Mercator shopping mall, and several small shops and restaurants.

My cozy, relaxing and warm apartment is in one of the two best central locations in Belgrade. It is situated on the first floor of a classy, historical building from 1929. The phasade of the building is under the Belgrade city cultural protection. Apartment is 55 skvm and is facing the street. Cvetni trg, Tašmajdan park, Parliaments and many "must see spots" are within 500 m distanc from the apratment.
Most of time I will be welcoming personally my guests.
