The location is just a few blocks walk from a very central thriving area as well as the bridge over to the old town center. The apartment was super easy to find and we had a very spacious and clean apartment. Very good location. There are stairs (FYI, no lift, so if carrying a bit of baggage grates on you, don’t stay here) we had 3 suitcases and some skis between us and were absolutely fine. At first, walking in is a a little bit of an eyesore but you fault the apartment, very spacious, well decorated and welcoming. Communication was done via WhatsApp but can’t really fault that, it was very helpful and straight forward. Only thing was there was some noisy drilling before 8am but we are pretty early risers so it didn’t bother us. Nice cafe for breakfast just across the road! "

Our priority is always the cleanliness of our accommodation and the apartment is very clean!!! In winter, a ski bus runs from Salzburg to the nearby ski resorts.

On the ground floor, the second door on the right leads to the shared laundry room for all three apartments, equipped with a washing machine and dryer.
At the back of the house, in the small garden, you will find an open bicycle shed for rented bikes and a clothesline.
Private parking spaces for all apartments are available in the courtyard and just behind the small chapel.

The Neighborhood:
Located in a nice quiet residential area , just a short walk from restaurants, shops and bus stations.. You walk about 15 minutes to the historical center and 20 minutes to the Festspielhaus (concert hall). You will find a list of restaurants and coffee shops with their addresses, phone number and opening times in the folder on the kitchen table. Also of the nearby supermarkets.
You will find a map on the table where the bus stations, way to the center and nearby supermarkets are marked.

Getting Around:
The property is a 5 minute walk from the nearest bus stop. Bus number 1 takes you to the center and to the train station . . Bus number 2, 5-6 minutes away, from and to the airport. Coming from the airport with bus number 2 get off at Hans Schmidt Platz, walk back until Glansteg, turn left, cross the little bridge, first street right is Ganshofstrasse.
Coming from the train station take bus number 1 direction center, get off at the stop Glansteg , continue walking a few meters in the direction the bus is going, turn right, cross the little bridge, turn right into Ganshofstrasse and walk down to number 18, a light green house on the right side.

Other Things to Note:
If no guests are leaving on the day of your arrival, you can check in at any time. Otherwise, the apartment will be ready around 3:00 PM. If you arrive earlier, you may leave your luggage from 10:30 AM and go for a walk until the apartment is ready. Please let me know, because Airbnb programs the access codes of the electronic locks to work from 3:00 PM.
On your departure day, I need the apartment at 10:00 AM for final cleaning.

Tip: If you stay 3 days or longer, I highly recommend purchasing a 3-day Salzburg Card. It includes:
Free entrance to all museums and sightseeing attractions
Free use of all city buses
Cable car up the Untersberg
The 3-day card is only slightly more expensive than a 1-day pass and offers great value.

Guest Access:
All 3 apartments have in common a washing room in the ground floor, left door, with a washing machine and a tumble dryer.
Guests can also use the little garden in the back and the bycicle hut- in case they have or rent a bike.

The Neighborhood:
What I love about my neighbourhood is that it is a very pleasant neighbourhood, there are mainly small houses, it is quiet and nevertheless close to the historical center. It is a pleasant 15 minutes walk . There are many restaurants close by, from 3-4 to 10 walking minutes distance. There are busses close by but you don`t hear them, it is close to the airport but you don`t hear the planes, it is just a few minutes by taxi to the train station, a perfect location.

Getting Around:
3-4 walking minutes away on Ganshofstrasse , bus number 27 will take you to the center and to the airport ..Also about 5-6 walking minutes away, on Innsbrucker Bundesstrasse bus number 2 to the airport. From Max Glaner Hauptstrasse Bus number 1 (station Glansteg, 4-5 walking minutes from the apartment) will take you to the center and to the train station.

Other Things to Note:
If no guests are leaving on the day of your arrival, you can check in at any time. Otherwise, the apartment will be ready around 3:00 PM. If you arrive earlier, you may leave your luggage from 10:00 AM and go for a walk until the apartment is ready. The apartment is located right in the center of Salzburg in a quiet, medieval alley. It's just a few minutes to the old town, where you can shop and dine. It is well suited for couples or solo travelers. Bus stop is right around the corner. A beautiful garden overlooking the fortress is the heart of the apartment.
