Our 120 m² apartment in Cuxhaven-Döse is very quiet in a row house with only 2 residential units. The apartment is set up for 4 people.
This is on the 1st Upper and top floor and has a 15 m² south-west balcony.

The entrance area is furnished with a wardrobe and shoe rack so that sandy or dirty clothes can be stored there. There is also space for strollers, handcarts (available), etc.

The apartment has a large living room with dining area (approx. 33 m²). Here you will find a large corner sofa with sleeping function, dining table with 6 chairs, TV wall with Panasonic flat screen TV / satellite TV, small stereo system with radio and CD, as well as a sideboard including some games and books.

The modern kitchen with 4 seats is equipped with high-quality electrical appliances, such as a dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven and refrigerator, as well as all the necessary dishes, coffee machine, toaster, egg cooker, microwave and a Nespresso machine.

Furthermore, our guests have the possibility to use the two 'sauna and relaxation areas' for a small fee of about 1-2 Euro per usage. Here two different saunas (incl. relaxation room, lockers, changing & showering options) await you. Here it deals with a classic Finnish sauna (with waterfall shower) by which you can add aromatic infusions to your sauna trip and there is also a sauna area with a spacious steam bath. In order to round off the wellness area, you also have the possibility to tan under two modern sandwich tanning beds.

Beach and relaxation:
In Duhnen, beach awaits you as far as the eye reaches - and all of this right in front of your day. The kilometre-long, fine-sand beach, the watt sea and the North Sea can be reached quickly and comfortably on foot from our holiday apartment in about 5-7 minutes. You just go along a street and then you are there: in the middle of the Duhnen centre and the countless beach accesses. Children and adults find wonderful swimming fun in the clean, shallow water at the Duhnen Beach. Swimming, building sand castles, diving, playing, surfing, sailing, walking for hours or simply just relaxing in the sand or laying in your own beach basket (already included by us!) - it's up to you. Furthermore, there is a special and separately designed animation beach and even a 'stadium on the sea' where different beach sport fields are found and there are regular animation & event programs from May to September.

Watt and sea.
In addition to the fantastic Duhnen North Sea beach, the watt sea - which is part of the largest watt sea in the world - is the absolute highlight of the region. By low tide, you have the unique opportunity to walk on the sea floor and make interesting discoveries. It is particularly worth walking to the tidal channels where you can take a relaxing bath in the often warm water. A walk in the watt is also healthy and excites the entire body. We can also recommend participating in one of the countless watt hikes. This reach from guides for nature lovers and family tours up to searches for amber. This is a private room offer in a restored 'Villa Style' apartment in the famous "Lotsenviertel".

Please note that the door to the room has no key to lock. We have welcomed over 100 guests in the last 5 years and never had an issue with theft.

Bike riding and fresh air walks to the beach help you unwind from your daily routine. Coffee shops, organic food stores, and restaurants are nearby.

Your bikes can only be parked and locked outside at designated spots provided by the city.

This accommodation is a private room within a large high ceiling "Gründerzeit" apartment. We provide you with a modern minimalist style double couch bed which is useful when staying inside and using your room as a living room during the colder or rainy days.

Smoking is only permitted outside the building to mind everyone's comfort.

During your stay
Please pay attention to the noise level when listening to music or talking on the phone, as our apartment is usually fully booked and shared with other travelers. Headphones are always recommended. Thank you :-)

Room keys are not available as they have been misplaced by previous guests.

Tourist tax and Airbnb fees are included in the final price.

Please note that bikes can be parked outside our building.

Mind the noise level when playing music or your mobile devices, since an apartment building is always shared. Best is to use headphones. Sometimes we have two rooms booked, meaning other guests will be around. All we ask is common sense and courtesy.

The beautiful cozy apartment is located opposite the Wernerwald. Through the Wernerwald there is a very nice hiking trail to the beach. You can reach the beach in about 15 minutes. The apartment is very cozy and comfortably furnished. Bed linen and towels are included in the rental price.

Here I offer my recently renovated vacation home or apartment in Cuxhaven Altenbruch.

The apartment is on the first floor (2nd level) in a two-family house, has 1.5 rooms incl. kitchen and shower bath with a total of approx. 27 square meters.

The space
The furnished and well equipped apartment is suitable for 1-2 people (+infant) .

The apartment is centrally located yet quietly located, close to the B73 and the A27.
The bakery, kiosk, savings bank and pharmacy are a 2-minute walk away. The Edeka market is about 10 minutes walk from the apartment.
The green beach/Wadden Sea Altenbruch is only 1.7 km (15 minutes walk).

The rental prices include utilities, but excl. Guest fee (€3.30 per day HS / €2.90 per day NS) of the city of Cuxhaven.

The house "Jan am Strand" is located directly in the 1st row, 200 meters from the beach, in the Döse district. The accommodation can accommodate 2 adults and one child.
