- "Property met our needs perfectly. Getting the keys from the key box was in a different building next door. Grocery store right outside the parking structure. The apartment was roomy, get view of the pool. Property was quiet and relaxing. A 5min drive to the metro station which was excellent for us. Restraunts are near by that should suit your tastes. The kitched could be stocked with a frying pan and a few more drinking glasses but we made it work. Slight smell do to garbage pick up was something we had to over come. Overall would definetly stay there again."

- "Apartment was in an excellent location with walkable restaurants and grocery store. My daughter really enjoyed the pool and the apartment was super clean, comfortable and well laid out. The only issue we had was confusion on where the unit was as the complex has a few different entrances. A map would have been helpful to navigate the garage and different entrances. Otherwise it was the perfect place to stay while we visited family in the area."

Then I was requested to cancel the booking even though it said it was no refunds. I had to send multiple messages to property owner for a refund with no response then had to call VRBO multiple times to finally get a refund. Our chic and modern basement apartment leaves little to be desired boasting a king-sized bedroom, a den with 2 queen beds, a full kitchen, washer and dryer, as well as a private entrance and walkway.

Situated in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood, Dina and I meticulously designed this space with comfort in mind. From bedside outlets, to a desk and high-speed internet for work from home.

The space
Sound Note: Please note this is a basement apartment and while there is a reasonable expectation of quiet, it is impossible to provide full soundproofing. There is a family living in the floors above so footsteps and other sounds should be expected. If you are a very sensitive sleeper or very sensitive to any noises, this may not be the right place for you. As much as we try to be mindful of our guests, there is very little that can be done to entirely remove sound transfer from the upper floors!

Sitting just shy of 1400 sqft, this newly constructed basement apartment has it all. As soon as you enter the home via your own private entrance/sidewalk, you are greeted with 9 ft tall ceilings with a large dining area for 6 to your right, and a cozy living room tucked away in the corner. The living room features a sectional, 2 accent chairs, and a 55” smart TV which you can use to browse Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ or any other service (your own account may be needed for some services)

To the left of the front entrance, you will find yourself facing the living corridor where you will be met with the expansive master suite and the beautifully finished bathroom. No details were sparred with the finishes, the master suite has a large king-sized bed, desk, floor to ceiling mirror, and full walk in closet. The bathroom features a bidet, full walk in shower, and even controls on the adjacent wall of the shower head (so you don’t get hit with the cold water when turning it on).

Towards the rear of the apartment, you’ll find a beautiful, full, brand new kitchen. With beautiful black accents, quartz countertops, and a stunning green backsplash that catches your eye as soon as you enter. You’ll forget you’re in the basement when cooking here here! You’ll also find a cute breakfast nook with a Zellige tile table imported from Morocco.

Finally, the last room to the left of the kitchen, will be a large den featuring 2 queen sized beds with a hotel-like feel. Note that this den does not have any windows so please utilize this room at your own risk.

Although being a basement, the rear of the home is west facing so the basement soaks up all of the afternoon light for a beautiful bright environment. You will surely enjoy your time situated in our beautiful suburb neighborhood just 30 minutes from DC!

Guests will have private access to the basement apartment accessible via the walk out door with dedicated sidewalk around the rear of the home. No one else shall have access to the basement during the stay. The guests also have shared access to the large patio in the rear of the home.

It is located in a safe and quiet neighborhood, within walking distance of public transportation (bus) and local amenities. Guests will have access to about 1500 sq. ft space with full-size windows and a wooded backyard.

A beautiful kitchen will meet your basic cooking needs, with a two-burner stovetop, microwave, full refrigerator, utensils, dishes, pots & pans, electric kettle, toaster oven, and coffee maker. Kitchen island with 3 chairs and a table that can seat four people.

The bathroom has a tub, extra towels, and limited toiletries. A closet with a washer and a dryer. There is plenty of storage space for luggage.

The living room has a comfortable sofa, a love seat, a chair, and an ottoman. A 65" large smart TV/cable box and Roku streaming device. WiFi is also available in the apartment. Our place can accommodate up to 5 people.

The first bedroom with King and the second bedroom with a queen bed. There is also a twin mattress if needed and extra bedding for each bed.
