There were two red vinyl upholstered chairs around a small dining room table with large damage to their faux leather covers. - The pullout sofa bed had a thin mattress-like cover, and I could feel the bars under it when I sat on it; nobody could sleep on it. There were scratches and watermarks on furniture throughout the apartment. - The "master bedroom" was nothing like it was pictured online. The bed looked cheap and uncomfortable. -I tried calling and texting the owner (pictures included). NO RESPONSE! His assistant responded to my text and told me to contact the on-site property manager. He came and acknowledged the conditions mentioned above but could not remedy the situation. He too tried to contact the owner and his assistant but got no response. -Desperately, I texted the owner that he needed to find other accommodations and received no response. Later, when talking to Expedia, his claim was that the situation had been handled that night; it wasn't since he had not responded to anyone's calls/texts. I was forced to find other accommodations for my grandchildren and me. Awful experience with owner and Expedia. "

At that time, I knew something wasn't right. I contacted Expedia, and they were able to speak to the property manager. Apparently, th property was not able to accommodate our stay due to maintenance, but had not communicated that with me abd never planned on letting me know. Expedia was awesome and got my money back, but it was really frustrating to deal bwith while traveling. I would not recommend anything that is managed by Chase properties in Baltimore."

Room with queen bed in shared, female-only (as of 2/2025) half-basement apartment. The layout is dorm style, with four bedrooms off of a long hall; each person has their own space in the fridge/pantry. We try to maintain a sense of openness and sharing, while also respecting each other's need for privacy. Coin laundry. Detergent provided. Easy walking distance to metro, Trader Joes, bike trail, etc. Age minimum 25. Please note this room is for long-term stays (>=30days) only.

The space
Although this is a basement apartment, don't be deterred! It was formally the maids quarters and is very large. We keep it clean and windows open all year round. I am sensitive to dust mites, so there are no carpets; all mattresses are sealed; and all bedrooms have fans.

My share of the apartment includes access to a private study, with desk, yoga mat, meditation cushion, window facing east. Depending on when and how long you stay, you are welcome to use this space as well. And please feel free to use the kitchen! The other two residents rarely, if ever use it, so it's mostly yours. The only downside: no dishwasher.

Other things to note
This is a rather old red brick garden style apartment building. Cozy and pretty, but guests should understand it's not a condo with modern amenities. We have Internet and WiFi, but no AC or TV. There's a fitness gym right across the street, numerous yoga studios nearby, and a bike trail about five minutes away that goes all the way into DC. The laundry facilities in the building (four washers, four dryers) are coin-operated. I provide laundry detergent, laundry booster for stains, fabric softener, etc. but guests are responsible for covering the cost of their laundry. Wash is generally about $2.75 and dryer $2.50.

Two-night minimum stay. This is a studio apartment in a beautiful water-front community. 10 minute drive to historic Annapolis downtown. It is a simple and clean space, best for a single person, or couples, with one child under age of two. Quiet neighborhood; guests will appreciate the serene and quiet aspect of the community. Or one small pet is welcome - please let me know in advance if you will bring a pet. A pet or an infant, but not both better for this space.

The space
The studio apartment is in an architecturally designed renovated ground floor space with a private entrance. The bed is a "full" size - smaller than a queen, and larger than a double. A full kitchen is part of the space. The finished floor is a gray-stone pattern man-made floating floor with an area rug. The bathroom is basic - painted concrete block walls with a shower, no tub, with a white marble floor. The studio has its own thermostat for heat - can be made as warm as you like for winter visits! It is a sunny space with windows by Marvin. On those Indian summer/winter days, you can enjoy sitting outside on the brick patio. Special note: there is no TV in the space, so if you need one, please don't reserve here! Thank you!
