We went to what looked like a check in area and no one was around. This was quite distressing at first. We did find someone and we did figure it out, but be sure to check your spam email box."

Internet Service is generally quite reliable and speedy. Neither I nor guests have had any trouble using Zoom or doing other online video conferencing.

The main bedroom downstairs contains a king bed. There is a small, rustic, attached full bathroom, closets, and five windows offering direct views of the Chesapeake Bay.

The second bedroom upstairs is an alcove off of the dining room, so it has only 3 walls but is private from the living room. It has a twin bed surrounded by book shelves and from that bed you can see the Chesapeake Bay and have great views of the sunrise while staying cozy under the covers. There is a full bathroom upstairs and a closet for clothes.

The living room couch folds out into a queen-sized bed with an inflatable pillow top. Positioned in front of the fireplace, it offers great views of the Chesapeake Bay through the dining room.

The path from the parking area to the main floor of the cabin is step-free, making for an easy walk.

Some Terrifically-Important-But-Not-Terribly-Exciting Details About Cleaning, Linens, Pets and Babies - Please Please Read This! Babies who cannot walk or crawl are welcome, but otherwise there is a minimum age of 5 for all guests. Some pets are allowed for a pet fee, 50 lbs maximum per pet (if larger, discuss with owner for a possible waiver). Most dogs under 2 years of age or who bark frequently are not allowed. If the total weight for 1 or more pets is more than 50 lbs, then at minimum an additional (and potentially more) pet fee will be charged. At the time you book your stay, please send a message and let the owner know your pet's age, breed, weight, barking habits & degree of housebrokeness. The cabin's pet guidelines can be sent in advance to you if you'd like, and if you book a stay they'll be sent to you to confirm that you and your much loved furry pal can follow them. After you schedule a stay we'll talk live over the phone, then a customized contract (the same one VRBO makes available to you to download and read before scheduling your stay) will be sent to you for signature. No events, parties, disturbing of neighbors, boats on a trailer, or double-cab pickup trucks with a long bed allowed (too long for the parking area). Instead, come for quiet relaxation, stargazing, and nature at this cozy waterfront log cabin on the Chesapeake Bay.

- "Brett is the best host we have ever had! He makes sure to speak to you personally, know the details of the type of experience you seek, and is readily available to answer any questions! The view from the cabin is breathtaking! We experienced the best bird-watching ever, starting with a pair of eagles that would come to rest at a tree next to this cabin. Bring your binoculars to watch the eagles, osprey, seagulls, hummingbirds, pelicans, and so many more species of birds! You will also enjoy colorful butterflies going from one beautiful flower to another. We had our 8 and 10-year-old boys and went down to the private beach to walk, look for shark teeth, collect shells, and learn about jellyfish. Generally, it is swimmable, but this year, jellyfish were everywhere, including Point Look Out, St Mary's, and Solomon's Island. The neighbors told us every several years, there are a lot of jellies, and this happened to be the year. It was okay, though, because the boys were curious to learn about them and the blue crabs we saw. The cabin is close to many amazing landmarks and offers great hiking trails. Our cabin has two bedrooms and a sleeping loft, all with queen size beds - all bedding is provided and included. We have an open cabin concept with water views from every room. Deck with hot tub and gas grill. Quaint shopping and great restaurants are a short seven mile drive into the town of North East. Elk Neck State park offers hiking and mountain biking trails, waterfront camping, lighthouse, boat ramp, public beach, spectacular cliffside water views and is only a short 6 mile drive. We are conveniently located right off of I-95 between Philadelphia and Baltimore - an hour drive north and south. Washington DC is also easily accessible 2 hours south of us. Historic Havre de Grace is just across the bay and can be easily accessed by boat or a 20 minute drive with lots of restaurants, lighthouse, walking tours, museums and shopping. We are located 20 miles from the University of Delaware.

Pets are welcome but there is a $150 additional pet fee in addition to $100 cleaning fee.

Welcome to Fern Hill Cabin with a spacious living room, kitchen, a cozy loft with a queen bed and futon and private bedroom with a queen bed. On the first floor there's a full bath and on the second floor a 1/2 bath. You'll love spending time on the screened porch or just relaxing around the campfire. A short drive will get you to all the great spots the Deep Creek area has to offer. Please be advised a 4-wheel or all-wheel drive vehicle is needed for the winter months. My recommendation is from Nov. 1 to Apr. 15. Roads are plowed but the area can receive several inches of snow at any one time. Please be advised we provide no towels or linens for beds. Please bring your towels, sheets and pillowcases for queen beds (king size sheets would also work).

El Camino sits between the main house and a barn. The main house is a separate rental property. The barn will be locked and is not for guest's use. There is a front porch that overlooks Jutland Creek which leads out to the Potomac River. The dock beautiful - there are always eagles, osprey and heron flying across the water; crabs and fish swimming by the dock, and very few properties in sight. It is a very peaceful getaway.

The Lake House is updated and equipped with everything you will need for your getaway - 3 spacious bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The primary bedroom ensuite has a large shower, while the hall bath and the lower level ensuite have tubs.

Enjoy cooking meals in the full kitchen with everything you will need to prepare and share meals at home. The kitchen is stocked with everything from plates and glasses to cookware, serving dishes, utensils, toaster, blender. Nothing has been overlooked!

The kitchen has a Keurig coffee maker that will make individual cups of coffee or up to a 12 cup pot of coffee for a crowd! We include a starter supply of K-cups and sugar as well as coffee filters for making a pot of coffee. You will need to supply ground coffee and any additional coffee/sugar/creamer you will need beyond what is provided.

Our bathrooms are stocked with towels, hand towels and wash cloths as well as a starter supply of toilet paper - 2 rolls per bathroom.

The living room has a 42 inch Smart TV - bring your own password to login to your Netflix, Prime, Hulu accounts. There is no cable TV. You will need to login into your personal streaming accounts.

The kids will LOVE the retro arcade! And the adults will be transported back in time while playing the retro Nintendo games. The arcade has an electronic dart board, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter II, Ms. Pacman cocktail table with 60 additional games and a Marvel electronic pinball machine! Endless fun in the evenings or rainy days.

Take the kayaks out on the lake (April - October) or bring your pole (and fishing permit) and walk down to the rocks and go fishing in the Patuxent River!

Grill outside on the deck overlooking the lake and enjoy dinner under the stars on the picnic table. Finish the day with a glass of wine on the Pier watching the boats go by on the river. It doesn't get any better!

Please understand that we are sharing our lake cabin as a relaxing getaway with family and friends and fun in nature and on the water. This space is not meant for parties. We require that quiet hours are observed after 10pm out of respect for our neighbors and in keeping with the peaceful nature of our community.

For additional peace of mind, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance as we unfortunately cannot act as insurance in the case of unforeseen circumstances. We do uphold our cancellation policy. Thank you for your understanding!

This unit is 1/2 of a double cabin. It includes two queen beds that can sleep up to four adults or two adults and two children. The cabin also has a small refrigerator, coffee maker, coffee condiments, and microwave. Our modern private bathrooms have a large size stand-up shower (no bathtub). Each cabin has a private front porch with Maryland mountain views that is perfect for relaxing, as well as your own private parking area beside each cabin. With easy on and off access to I-68, 7C's Lodging is also a great home base for touring the mountains of Allegany County by motorcycle or ATV. The cabins are just a short drive to Cumberland MD where you can find local restaurants and visit popular Western Maryland attractions, ride the historic Western Maryland Railroad or take in entertainment and games of chance at The Rocky Gap Casino.

The space
Welcome to Seclusion! Escape the hustle and bustle at this privately located quaint getaway located on 4 acres in the woods. Beautiful natural surroundings offering privacy and an abundance of birds and wildlife. Seclusion is ideal as a couples retreat but has room for family and friends. It has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom and a loft and includes heat and A/C, hot tub, grill, covered deck, fire pit areas, and detached carriage house game room. The cozy main bedroom has a queen size bed. The loft has a king size bed. It is accessible via a relatively narrow set of stairs and has a 3 foot ceiling clearance. The bathroom includes a shower that is most comfortable for those 6 feet or under, but includes a seat and shower wand for those on the taller side. Sheets and towels are provided.

Nicely equipped eat-in kitchen has everything you need - gas stove, microwave, toaster, pots and pans, dishes, glassware, silverware, cooking and serving utensils, refrigerator and freezer with numerous ice trays, blender, and a fully stocked spice rack. Fully-stocked coffee bar with keurig machine. Living room has a full-size futon, an electric fireplace, and smart TV available for you to sign on to your online streaming and a DVD player and several movies.

The deck includes a covered seating area, a propane grill, hot tub, and tiki torches.
Detached carriage house is set up as a game room - it has available air-conditioning and heat and includes a combination ping pong, air hockey, and foosball table. It is also stocked with board games and puzzles for your enjoyment.
A carport offers covered parking for 2 cars, with additional parking available in the circular drive.

The road to Seclusion is unpaved and a bit rocky. An AWD is not required, but it may not be suitable for cars with very low clearance. Also, access may be limited during times of heavy snow.

There is no cell service at Seclusion, but free wi-fi is available for internet, streaming, and wi-fi calling. Power and internet service can be affected by rain, wind, and snow.

This quiet cabin is located between Boonsboro and Sharpsburg in Keedysville, MD. It is surrounded by tall oaks and pines. A wide path leads to Antietam Creek, popular for fishing, kayaking, and tubing. 45-min drive to Whitetail Ski Resort (30 miles); 1-hr to Gettysburg, PA; Close to Antietam Battlefield, Shepherdstown, Harpers Ferry, Hagerstown, Frederick, Washington, D.C., C&O canal bike trail and Appalachian Trail.
Minimum age to rent is 25 yrs. Families with children are welcome.

This quiet cabin is located on 5 secluded acres. The house has NO TV. NO A/C. The fireplace is NOT wood burning but there is a gas stove insert for heat. The pool is open Memorial Day to Labor Day and is NOT heated. NO AIR CONDITIONING.
