- "The whole experience at this cabin was nothing short of amazing. Diana is the sweetest host. Anytime we had a question , she was just a text message away. The cabin is exactly like the photos in the listing. It is super clean and very welcoming. We loved the entire community and the people are so nice. It is a short drive to Walmart and other stores. There’s many great restaurants not far away. We absolutely love Mohegan Sun Casino and Rustic Kitchen inside there. It’s about 40 mins from the cabin. We had fun shopping at the outlets which was also not a far drive. The house was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Overall this was one of the best experiences we’ve had in a while and will be returning again. Thanks again Diana for everything"

You'll have easy access to your Poconos vacation home with a keypad on the front door, allowing you to come and go as you please without worrying about keeping track of keys. There is also a private, circular driveway with plenty of room for several cars, making it convenient for you and your group to arrive and depart with ease.

The space
A pocket of 826 sq ft of tranquility, this 1969 cabin has been eloquently brought back to life for you to enjoy. The home is nestled in a wooded and peaceful neighborhood, surrounded by nature. One can hear the footsteps of the deer or the chirping of birds while sipping their morning coffee in the beautiful outdoor spaces.

Entering the home, one will be greeted by an open concept area; a dining room and family room combination, through the openings, to the left is your updated kitchen and an island and to the right is your living room area with seating for four and 55” smart TV and stone wood burning fire place (fire wood provided).

The bedrooms are perfectly staged with queen sized beds, a small side table with Sonos speakers, bedside Varnado fans, and lamps providing lighting perfect for those book lovers. The main “Bear” bedroom has a cabnet for storage, a smart TV that can also be a secondary monitor or gaming for those in need, with an in-unit washer & dryer. The guest “Buck” bedroom has a small closet with a flexable shelving and hangers perfect for your clothing.

The Jack and Jill bathroom is accessible from both bedrooms (en suites for both bedrooms) and has a tub/shower beautifully tiled in white with black fixtures completing the look. A well-lit vanity with fogless controls that opens for extra storage will illuminate all of your best features!

Making your way to the side outdoor entertainment area. You have direct access from your side area to cook up your favorite BBQ dish on your large Weber grill or slip into your four-person hot tub.

Chippers Cabin is located in Locust Lake Village. All guests must register each person and vehicle for the security of the community. These additional steps take just a few moments of your time and help our community maintain high safety standards for all. Amenities include three lakes with beaches, tennis courts, hiking trails, volleyball, playgrounds, and our active lakes are perfect for kayaking, canoeing (rentals available at Pines Lake), swimming, and fishing (PA fishing license required).

Once your registration form is completed, you will receive the following in an email confirmation (note: registration costs $35 per rental):

No need to leave your pup (1 that is over 30lbs or 2 that are under 30lbs) at home either, they stay for only $50. As long as you agree to keep a close eye on and clean up after them (we provide a Dustbuster in the closet for fur pick-up). We even provide the poop bags and bowls!

-Pools are open Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend but the lake is accessible from the beaches from dusk to dawn and are always swim at your own risk as lifeguards are not present there. Rental shack for kayaks and other equip are open daily Memorial Day to Labor Day, and weekends only from Labor Day to Indigenous peoples’ day.

Two bedrooms are located on the first floor and offer queen-size beds, dresser, and closet with drawers and shelves. A 3rd bedroom on the second floor features 1 queen-size bed and 1 twin bed. The loft area offers a pleasant work space equipped with a desk and comfortable chair. A cozy reading nook makes a special spot, with two futon chairs that convert from an armchair to a lounge chair for a quick nap or reading time. A single-sized bed can provide extra sleeping space.

- "Went here for relaxing thanksgiving three night stay. Everyone says the Poconos are nice. From the photos I saw of this property online it looked large and very clean. I was very excited about going here with my out of state family. We arrived at night time, so I couldn't really see any landscape. Suffice it to say, home was outdated and in need of many repairs. I took photos because I could not believe my eyes. The fridge, and the showers were clean, the micorwave was in good shape. Thats all I can say I was satisfied with. No one is as sad or disappointed as me. I really really wanted to show my family a good time. Rentals I had stayed at before were excellent. Everything was provided! All I had to do was show up. This was not that way. I can't justify the things that were unacceptable to me, all though I tried, I really did. I am not the only one, there were three families there total. This is how I sum it up: 3 laundry pods, 3 trash bags light switches that didnt work, clocks that were not set with the curent time, in fact only one clock in the chalet had the correct time, kitchen clock was dead. Blinds in downstairs bedroom, UPSIDE DOWN and did not work. My husband checked them, and said they weren't even hung correctly. Being unable to close them, everytime I get up nightly to go to restroom, it set off outside motion sensors. The list goes on...."

This uniquely shaped cabin offers the ideal getaway – a blend of modern and upscale, meshed with a cozy touch of dainty woodland charm and a dash of cavernous mountain living. The estate is set at the end of a lengthy driveway, raised off the ground and secluded and tucked away beneath ubiquitous rows of forest trees. In the fall, the foliage makes for a picture-perfect setting. In the summer, you’re just minutes away from a refreshing swim in Arrowhead Lake.
The wraparound deck (with a BBQ) offers ample outdoor seating and a great view of the surrounding woodland. Or spend a night roasting smore’s around the backyard firepit. Inside, numerous overhead skylights, a multitude of large windows, and two extensive glass sliding doors allow for oodles of natural light to pour through the space. The high-arching vaulted ceilings offer a cathedral-like, yet cozy feel. Overhead natural wood beams and hardwood floors and ceilings remind you that you’re in a mountain cabin, albeit with the amenities of a state-of-the-art home. The brand-new kitchen and high-top counters with barstools, however, sway toward modern living. In the living room, two couches allow space for the whole gang to sit and watch the catty-cornered TV in front of the stone fireplace. You’ll find four bedrooms in the home – each with its own A/C unit. One room includes two double-bunk beds, while another features two full size beds. The space
As long time residents of Arrowhead Lake, we are committed to providing a great experience to our renters and their pets!

***Important things to note about our home***

1) We are pet friendly! Yes, this means you can bring your dog! No, we do not charge an extra fee or deposit. We believe pets are family and should be able to come on vacation! :)

2) Parties and events are not allowed.

3)We include linens on the beds, towels, an outdoor firepit, grill, propane fireplace, TV with cable and chromecast for streaming, various card and board games, and fairy lights among other touches to add the extra home away from home touches to our cabin.

4) We do NOT have A/C but we have plenty of fans and are very shaded and the cabin remains quite comfortable.

5) We are not a lake front property. We are across the street from the lake and a less than 10 minute walk (or 2 min drive) from the nearest of the 4 beach areas featured in the community.

6) We are a lake community so we are on a well system. The cabin is stocked with a brita pitcher. We have a water filter we change regularly but you may want to bring additional drinking water.

7)Arrowhead Lake is a private, gated community. Temporary membership fees are mandatory and assessed to all rental parties these fees are built into the community fee section of airbnb so there is no extra fee outside of airbnb. The fee covers community registration, one gate card for a car to access the private gates, and 2 guests memberships for 2 nights at the off season rate (this rate increases from $2 per person/night to $8.50 per person/night for the summer season.) Once you book, I will ask to confirm number of guests and number of vehicles you will need and send a request for that amount to register you with my community. Additional guests or additional nights are an extra $6/person per night and extra gate cards are $20. If you need, I will send a request for anything extra.
We enjoy sharing our home with guests and hope to host you!

The bedroom with a single bed also has a closet which provides some outdoor recreational equipment such as tennis rackets and balls, a basketball, soccer ball, and water guns. Also located in that bedroom is a small library and a washer/dryer.

The second ground floor bedroom has a queen bed and closet with hangers.

There are remotes that control the two ceiling fans and the electric fireplace.

The kitchen comes fully stocked for your cooking needs. There is a k-cup coffee maker (or french press for the purists ;) ) , microwave, toaster, etc.

The community offers 3 pools (open seasonally), 4 beaches, tennis and basketball courts, playgrounds, and a gym and game room which you have access to. If you plan on using the pool or going in the lake, you must have an Arrowhead Lake wristband.

Fishing Licenses are available to be purchased through Arrowhead Lake’s Member Services Department.

Rental Shack - Open daily to rent row boats, canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, fishing equipment, bicycles, and sports equipment. Cash only!

When departing you must leave the house the way you found it. The trash must be taken to the trash center (to the right of the entrance gates) or there will be an extra $10 fee for trash removal. We try to accommodate guests desired check in and check out times so these things help us to be able to turn over as efficiently as possible.

Pools open for the weekends starting Memorial Day Weekend and open daily the third week of June. Close labor day weekend.

Once you have booked, you will be sent a link to a form to provide your vehicle information and guests. If this is not completed at least 3 days prior to arrival, the registration will cost $100 extra and if not by day before, the community will not allow you to enter and no refund can be issued.

For Winter seekers we have Jack Frost, Big Boulder, Camelback. During the Spring and Fall, hikes are beautiful in Hickory Run State Park. Kalahari and Great Wolf Lodge are also located 20 mins away. If just relaxing in our wonderful gated community we offer 3 swimming pools and 4 beach lake access.

As you enter the home you are embraced by the warmth of the wooden interior, the cathedral ceiling and large windows that allow you to feel part of nature. During hot months the central air provides a solice and on those cold nights in the fall and winter sit by the gas fireplace and enjoy the view of the great outdoors. Perfect for relaxing!

Due to Arrowhead Lake rules you must book properties at least 3 days prior to your arrival.

This two story cabin requires 4 steps to enter the deck and home.
While it features bedrooms and a full bath on the first floor, interior stairs are required to access the loft on the 2nd floor. Our home is a tranquil oasis that includes 2 bedrooms, 1 queen, 1 full and a loft with a queen size bed. All linens are supplied. A cozy living room with a gas fireplace and a dining area. The fully equipped kitchen includes refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, stove/oven, single-serve & drip coffee makers, tea kettle, toaster, cooking basics, dishware/flatware, garbage disposal and starter dish cleaning supplies, starter trash bags and paper towels. If you are here for remote work, the upstairs loft has a table and is the perfect place for solitude. The home is equipped with high speed internet. There is 1 full bath downstairs and 1/2 bath upstairs in the loft. Linens, towels and complimentary toiletries are supplied.

Relax on our newly furnished deck with a gas fire pit. Use your culinary skill and bbq on our Weber gas grill. Our very large deck is fully enclosed with railings and 2 gates. If you prefer, place a few logs on the wood burning fire pit just off the deck and enjoy roasting hot dogs and making smores.

Upon arrival all guests must check in at the Arrowhead Lake Rental Office located at 906 Route 940, Suite 101. It is located in Liberty Plaza, not at the lake. You must check in there anytime between 10am and 10 pm. All other times you must check in at the Welcome Center at the main gate at Arrowhead Lake which is open 24 hours 7 days a week. You will receive your access card to the gates and wrist bands for Arrowhead Lake amenities. All Arrowhead Lake fees must be paid 3 days prior to arrival. Lorin, our property manager will be contacting you.

We are located in the back of Arrowhead near the secluded tree surrounded game lands.

The area has ATV/snowmobile rentals, downtown Jim Thorpe scenery/shopping/eating/drinking and other resort amenities within a very easy, relaxing 15-40min of this tiny home. Just bring your bathing or snow suits, biking/hiking/fishing gear and come ready to enjoy all that a private gated community in the Poconos has to offer, including a much sought after disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

No need to leave your pup at home, they stay for only $50 each for your entire stay. As long as you agree to keep a close eye on and clean up after them (we provide a Dustbuster in the closet for fur pick-up). We even provide the poop bags and bowls! Due to the size of our home, only 1 medium-large dog OR 2 small dogs allowed.

-Pools are only open Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend but the lake is accessible from the beaches from dusk to dawn and are always swim at your own risk as lifeguards are not present there. Rental shack for kayaks and other equip are open daily Memorial Day to Labor Day, and weekends only from Labor Day to Indigenous peoples’ day.

Our cabin is quaint but thoughtfully updated.

It's the perfect spot for couples, small families, or a relaxing weekend with friends. A wood burning fireplace is the focal point of the main living space, with an open concept kitchen and island seating for to 4-5 people.

New for 2024, the whole house now has air conditioning via brand new mini splits.

BEDROOMS
There are two bedrooms downstairs. One has a full size bed and the other has two twin beds. Our loft has a queen size bed, and a small work space perfect for your tablet or laptop. The loft is open to the living room below.

BATHROOMS
There is one fully renovated bathroom on the main floor.

There is a laundromat nearby in Blakeslee if you need it.

Security cameras are installed at each entrance, as well as a security floodlight/camera over the driveway.

Arrowhead Lake is a gated community, with two lakes, four beaches, three pools, several playgrounds, and a lodge with a library, game room, and picnic area.

Canoe, kayak, paddle board, and bike rentals are available in the summer.

We are also a short drive to Jack Frost/Big Boulder, Camelback, Kalahari, Pocono Raceway, Mount Airy Casino, outlet shopping, Mount Pocono, and several state parks with beautiful hiking trails.

After booking, you will receive a link to provide more info about your group. This is information required by our community. Requested group information must be provided to us at least one week (2 days for last minute bookings) prior to your arrival in order for us to register your group with the community in time. Failure to do so will result in the cancelation of your booking. One vehicle is included in your booking, if you require a second vehicle you will need to purchase any additional gate card for $20 at least 3 days before your arrival.

Community pools and rental shack (canoes, bikes, sports equipment) open Memorial Day weekend and are available weekends only until late June. The pools are closed after Labor Day, but the rental shack is usually open on weekends until late September/early October. Lake front is open all year for at your own risk activities (swimming, fishing/ice fishing, etc)

Guests have access to the entire house with the exception of one closet and the shed.

Arrowhead Community Temporary Member Registration is required for all guests. You must provide us with all requested info at least one week (3 days) prior to your arrival date. The space
We live in NYC, and like to travel a lot, while we travel we use Airbnb as well. Our cabin offers everything for a weekend getaway, is close to NYC and Philadelphia, about 2.5 hrs drive. Our cabin is cozy and inviting with open floor concept, great for entertaining and relaxing. The cabin has 3 bedrooms, and 2 baths, a big deck with gas grill, and big table with 4 comfy chairs and 2 benches. The living room is spacious, full of natural light. The whole house is recently renovated, is clean and inviting to enjoy this wonderfull gated community with 3 pools and beaches on the lake. The lodge has a gym and offers a variety of events. We enjoy the openess, and relaxing atmosphere, and just being away from the hussle of the city, we enjoy the outdoors and activities the community offers. Summer and winter resorts, are a short drive from the community, Split Rock resort and Jack Frost are about 20 min drive. We are close to farmers market with fresh, local fruits, vegetable, meat, dairy, and lots of homemade delicious food (available from spring to fall) and outlet shopping. Come and enjoy our cabin any time of the year. Each season offers something unique to explore. Enjoy swimming in the pools and beaches in the summer, enjoy hiking and skiing, become amazed by the beatiful colors of fall foliage, or just sit on the deck and enjoy the fresh air and nature. With a screened-in porch, deck, basement, and loft, there’s room for everyone to spread out and enjoy the tranquility of Locust Lake Village. In the winter, cozy up by our two wood stoves after a day of skiing at nearby Jack Frost, Big Boulder or Camelback. In the summer, take advantage of the three community lakes with beaches, playgrounds for the kids, volleyball courts, and more.

The space
The first floor contains our game room with woodburning stove. The whole family can enjoy the pool table, which can be quickly converted to a ping pong table for the kids. A projector with Chromecast is set up so that you can stream movies, videos, or TV from your phone or laptop. There is a mini fridge and wet bar for your convenience. The futon can be converted into a full size bed if extra sleeping space is needed. Also on this floor is a garage where you are welcome to store your skis, bikes, or kayaks. Laundry is located on this level.

Upstairs on the main level is the kitchen, dining room, and living area. We keep a well-stocked kitchen so that you can easily enjoy a cozy meal without having to venture out. The living room contains the second wood-burning stove and a smart TV. The primary bedroom is located on this floor, right across from a bath with shower. Off this level are the deck and screened in porch, perfect for enjoying a meal or your morning coffee.

On the upper level you will find two more bedrooms, a full bath, and the spacious loft. One upstairs bedroom has a queen bed, and the other has a full bed and twin bunk beds. The loft contains a sleeper sofa and a daybed with trundle. This space includes a second smart TV. This TV also has Blu-ray/VCR capability and is a great place for the kids to watch a movie!

A pack 'n play with changing table attachment is available for families with a little one.

Renters have access to Locust Lake's three lakes with beaches, ski hill, and chalet for arts and crafts and other activities.

Locust Lake Village Ski Hill:
The ski hill is open to residents and renters on the weekends during the winter months (weather permitting as the snow is natural). The hill includes a t-bar ski lift and is a great place for beginner skiers.

The space
This home features a fully stocked and upgraded kitchen, with a new Keurig and milk frother for yummy coffee drinks. Experience the upgraded fire pit with your host-provided s'mores kit.

Two living areas offer plenty of space and the opportunity for separate adult/kid fun, including a board game area! The cabin is tastefully decorated with plaid seasonal décor. All bedrooms offer comfy bedding and plenty of pillows.

All TVs have either Amazon Firesticks or Roku TV Entertainment. YouTube TV is also provided for a similar to cable TV experience. Fireplace, board games, books, and desk are provided.

KITCHEN: Cooking basics, spices, dishware/flatware, refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, toaster, drip coffee machine and Keurig.

GENERAL: WiFi, ceiling fans, complimentary soap/shampoo/conditioner, linens/towels, laundry detergent, iron/board, hangers, hair dryer, trash bags/paper towels.

SUITABILITY: Stairs (13) required for access to the main (2nd) floor. The 1st floor does have a bedroom and full bathroom.

Wristbands for amenities are mandatory year-round for all guests over the age of 6 years old.

Each rental will be required to pay a $20 transaction fee in addition to the guest/vehicle fees noted above.

Since Arrowheads lake is private community with lots of amenities, Guest must need to register to enter this facilities. There are certain fee to enjoy all activities, but good news is the owner will complete your registration and pay your all registration fees .but make sure you submit your information to the owner as needed.

Welcome to the Shaded Fawn, a peaceful getaway for you and your family and friends! Our spacious corner-lot chalet is located in an amenity-filled community complete with 3 swimming beach lakes, tennis courts, playgrounds, a sledding and ski hill, a community garden, weekly events, and much more!

The space
The house sits on a shaded corner-lot and is a 3-minute walk to the nearest beach. Enjoy the large deck, which spans the entire width of the home, complete with a grill and outdoor dining.

Featuring 3 bedrooms (plus a bonus bunk/game room), our chalet offers a variety of sleeping arrangements for a cozy night sleep. The master bedroom includes a queen size bed and twin bed, located on the second floor, with an ensuite bathroom and balcony. On the main floor, you will find two additional queen bedrooms. In addition, our game room features a bunk bed with a trundle. There are plenty of beds for your whole group! Bedding, bath towels, and shower essentials are all provided.

The fully equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, an island with additional seating, and plenty of storage. The kitchen is open to the dining and living areas, which makes a great experience for your entire group to hang out together. The dining area offers a large wooden table with ample seating.

The stackable washer-dryer is centrally located on the first floor adjacent to the kitchen.

The living room includes a large sectional sofa that reclines and is perfect for snuggling up with a fire and a good movie.

Locust Lake Village offers the following: 3 private lakes with beaches, swimming, fishing, pavilions, picnic tables, playground, volleyball court, horseshoe pits, shuffleboard, concession stands, ski and sledding hills, and more!

In addition, special events are hosted weekly and you can enjoy them during your stay. An events calendar will be provided at the front desk during check-in.

Other things to note
Renters will be required to fill out a registration form through the community's front office (including each guest and vehicle) at least 3 days prior to check-in. Host will provide instructions upon Airbnb booking confirmation.

Renters are also responsible for trash removal, as there is no trash pickup in the community. The community compactor is a short 3-minute drive from the house.

There are multiple fishing spots within the community, but you must have a fishing license.
