Please come and enjoy our two bedroom - one bathroom open concept with a living room, dining area and kitchen. Plenty of space for your pets to enjoy and there is a $100 per Pet fee. The washer and dryer are located just off the kitchen. A comfortable queen sized bed is in both bedrooms, as well as a queen sized sleeper couch. Central HVAC will keep you comfortable day and night. In the warmer season, the rear stairway takes you to the salt water above ground pool that you share with the owners. As you walk out the front entry on to the full sized enclosed deck, you can sit and relax while your puppies play in their one acre play yard. It is like no other pet friendly yard in all of Cape May. A gas grill is located underneath a large shade tree for your outdoor cooking enjoyment with outdoor dining set on the deck. - "Exceptional place to stay. Jim and Effie were fantastic hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was worry free and memorable. Jim provided us with a huge variety of coffee pods, fresh eggs, and muffins for breakfast and ice cream for an after dinner treat. Mornings were spent relaxing on a covered porch watching humming birds fluttering nearby. The place is very pet friendly offering plenty of treats, toys, bowls and blankets all in the safety of a fenced in yard. We were provided with complimentary beach passed plus free parking to the beautiful Long Beach Island shore which was about an half hours drive. Well worth the trip. However we didn't have to venture far for an outdoor experience. This quiet little place offered a surprising amount of amenities from walking trails, to a picturesque meadow, to a gazebo overlooking a pond, and a fire pit for relaxing by in the evening. Jim even provided kayaks that we took to a nearby lake where we also fished and hiked. If planning to visit the area, we highly recommend this place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning soon."

- "Nice quiet out of the way place right on the water. The house had everything we needed for the week. I would have liked a medium size sauce pan for pasta but that's just me. Many sized pots available for cooking and frying. Sea glass aplenty just wait for low tide and explore. During our stay we saw Eagles, otters, crabs, American Oyster Catcher, turtles in the water and babies on the beach. We enjoyed fires by the water and watched the stars. The kitchen has what you need and there is a music system with radio, record player, CD player and cassette player. Just a mile down the road is a lovely hiking trail to Stairway Lake; you can also take walks on the property. More hiking trails in the Delaware Water Gap area if you're able to tear yourself away from the cabin porch. This meticulously renovated rustic log cabin will give everyone a chance to relax, enjoy nature and explore. This area offers boating, skiing, paddle boarding, kayaking, family acitivities, hiking, vineyards, drive in movie theater, cidery, ice cream dairy farm, and more. This 1930's log cabin with 2 bedrooms and a loft, is nestled on a wooded lot in a quite community. Lic no 2022-018.

The space is a fully renovated 1930's cabin with a nod to rustic and vintage. It is decorated meticulously with large log beams, tin walls, stained glass accents, wine barrel vanity, and garage sale copper bowl converted to a sink. No detail is overlooked. The outside boasts a large patio/deck with gas grill, dining table, hammock, and fire pit.

You enter the house into a quaint sunroom. From the sunroom you access the great room which has the kitchen with dine at peninsula, and living room with couch and love seat. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and closet for your personal use. The guest bedroom has a single trundle bed. The trundle bed pulls out for extra sleeping space to fill the room. The upstairs loft is spacious and has 2 single beds. The loft ladder is steep and it is open to the great room below, so it is not recommended for young children.

During the Spring/Summer/Fall there is a small fairy trail all on the property to stroll and enjoy.

Guests are able to use all amenities of the house such as but not limited to ships ladder to loft, grill, and fire pit, but they must do so at their own risk and are liable for any possible damages.

Escape to the shore and enjoy your stay in this two-bedroom, one bath air-conditioned/heated cottage located at a Premier family campground resort* with full use of the amenities - minutes from the famous Wildwood Boardwalk & Cape May beaches. This furnished rental offers a comfortable retreat with two streaming TV’s. The kitchen comes equipped with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, drip coffee maker, and toaster for cooking. The primary bedroom has a queen bed, the 2nd bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed, sofa pulls out to a queen sleeper and the bathroom has a tub/shower combo. The screened-in porch is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee or evening drink after a full day of activities.

Some of the great campground amenities include a lake with waterslides and a beach, heated pool, two playgrounds, an activity center, huge arcade, tennis and pickleball courts, basketball court, a separate fishing lake, gym, mini-golf, wagon rides, food trucks, resort store & fun theme weekends! SO MUCH TO DO on days you don't go to the beaches!

The campground has a snack bar for delicious burgers, pizza, cheesesteaks, quesadillas and sweets.

Staying at Mohican will provide opportunities to hike, fish, swim and paddle out your front door. Your stay supports the AMC’s ongoing conservation efforts.

This 4-person private cabin holds a double bed, a bunkbed, a table with chairs, a kitchenette and a covered unscreened porch. Shared bathrooms are available at the rec hall a short walk away.

Rental of the cabin includes pillows for each bunk but no linens or blankets beyond a fresh pillow case. Linens and blankets can be rented at the visitor center for an additional fee.

There is a sandy beach at the north end of camp though there is no lifeguard on duty so swim at your own risk. Located on a glacial lake within the 70,000-acre Delaware Water Gap Recreation Area, Mohican Outdoor Center is operated by the Appalachian Mountain Club, the country’s oldest recreation and conservation organization. Staying at Mohican will provide opportunities to hike, fish, swim and paddle out your front door. Your stay supports the AMC’s ongoing conservation efforts.

This four room 7-person private cabin is split into 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a full kitchen, dining and living room and a screened in porch. The first bedroom holds a double bed, and a lofted bunk. The second bedroom holds two bunkbeds. The kitchen has a table, cookware and serving ware, hot running water, a fridge and stove. The bathroom has a toilet and stand up shower.

Rental of the cabin includes pillows for each bunk but no linens or blankets beyond a fresh pillow case. Linens and blankets can be rented at the visitor center for an additional fee.

There is a sandy beach at the north end of camp though there is no lifeguard on duty so swim at your own risk. Additionally, there is a boathouse with a fleet of canoes, kayaks and standup paddle boards for rent. Internet is available at the visitor center and cell phone service is spotty throughout the camp.

The cabin has a pedestal grill for cooking and a picnic table. A communal fire ring is located a short walk away. Firewood is available for purchase at the visitor center. To limit the movement of invasive species we request that you do not bring your own firewood.

No meals are included in your stay, though lunch can be purchased at the visitor center during the summer and fall season.
You can park your car at the cabin for the duration of your stay.
Dogs or other pets are not allowed overnight in camp.

Your stay also includes access to our free gear library. This includes items such as snowshoes, hiking poles and backpacks. You may take these on your adventures during your stay with us and return them when you depart. You can inquire about using these items upon check-in

The Appalachian Trail is a short hike away from Mohican Outdoor Center along Rattlesnake Swamp Trail. Catfish Pond is a 35-acre pond with a sandy swimming area private to Mohican Outdoor Center. Fishing on Catfish Pond is another favorite activity of those visiting Mohican.

Our staff is knowledgeable about local recreation opportunities and can point you in the right direction for hiking trips, fishing spots, and great locations to spot local flora and fauna on land and on the water.

The Shire House - 1,000 sq. ft. Retreat

The vibrant, newly constructed Shire House is a clean, bright, and welcoming 2-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom hideaway, perfect for families or small groups. It features a queen bed, bunk bed, and twin bed for optimal comfort. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with high-end appliances, cookware, and dishes, plus we provide six fresh eggs from our chickens to kickstart your stay. Thoughtful cabinetry and ample storage blend modern style with functionality, while the open layout promotes interaction and a relaxed, energized atmosphere.

For dining, there's a four-seat round dining table, plus three barstools at the kitchen counter.

The living room opens to a spacious, covered rear deck with four hanging egg chairs and additional seating, all overlooking a peaceful wooded sanctuary. This tranquil space invites relaxation, where you can listen to birds sing and watch deer wander through the trees. Step into the woods and wonder down the walking trail, leading to a wide-open dog park for your furry friend to enjoy. Surrounded by nature, this serene retreat offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle, providing safety and peace for both you and your canine companion.

The main bathroom features a shower/tub combo, and we provide ample towels, along with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for your convenience.

Swan Lake Resort spans 160 acres and features a 30-acre fishing lake. While it’s a housing community, not a cabin in the woods, it offers plenty of natural beauty and amenities. Enjoy cleared walking trails, a great picnic area near the dam, and the calming sounds of nature that will melt away your stress. The walking trails loop back to a charming, covered bridge.

For fitness enthusiasts, we have a state-of-the-art gym, open from 5 AM to 10 PM. Access to the gym is included with your stay, and an access code will be provided.

Planning an event? Consider renting our lakefront hall, which seats up to 100 guests and includes a caterer's kitchen.

We also offer a variety of spa treatments (available for an additional fee and by appointment), such as facials, massages, and Reiki available in the spa area and in your cabin.

Additionally, we provide complimentary bikes, kayaks, and pedal boats for your enjoyment.

Our lake is abundant with wildlife, including bass, pickerel (for fishing), and many species of birds, including eagles. You’ll also spot turtles, deer, chipmunks, squirrels, rabbits, and plenty of birds—especially around the lake. We have fishing piers equipped with electricity, so you can relax and enjoy the scenery or catch a fish or two.

Other Things to Note
Maintaining a peaceful, quiet atmosphere for our guests is very important to us. To ensure that, we limit the number of guests in the home to 8 at any time (both inside and outside). We do not allow large gatherings or parties at the cabin.

Cozy Private Space is located in a metro area that has quiet time starting at 8pm. This space is large, square, with a tall ceiling. You can bring up to 8 people to sleep inside with you. They can bring their own sleeping bags or cots. You can use the large outdoor space for any activity or event. You can cook on the grill. Keep your space tidy. Do not bring pets that bark at night. The mobile bathroom structure has a sink and toilet. It is usually outside of the Cabin. The laundromat is 1 block away.
