- "We had a great stay! The adjustable beds were a definite plus. The house is super cute and comfortable. We enjoyed the lake view very much, watching all the ducks was very peaceful. And the development was super quiet. Great communications as far as directions, checking in & out, where to leave the trash, etc. There were just a few small details that could use improvement. A good frying pan would have been helpful, the ones that were provided needed serious cleaning. Luckily I was able to reach out to a friend who was staying with us and they were able to bring a pan from home. The inside of the stove needs cleaning. There were only 2 wash cloths for 4 people, no dishtowel, no extra trash bags and only 1 dishwasher detergent pod. (we did the dishes by hand) That being said, we would definitely stay here again, it wouldn't be enough to keep us from booking again, we would just make sure to bring more ammenities with us next time. My only real complaint, which is also an easy fix, is to make sure the shower floor is rinsed thoroughly after cleaning. Whatever was used left the shower floor super slippery. This could have caused a major injury instead of just a sore hip and knee. But again, the house is super cute, it has a great porch and comfortable beds. We would definitely stay here again. "

It was a little smaller than I had thought but not so much that it bothered me. Bathroom, kitchenette, bedroom, and living room area were all perfect. But I think my favorite part of the room had to have been the view. Every room has a balcony and I had a very nice view of the ocean and the city. The arcade is small but it did the job for my kids. Me and my wife even played a few games. I like the fact that the hotel has a pool and the pool was clean as well. If you go at the right time it may be empty for hrs so we definitely enjoyed the pool time and I enjoyed the jacuzzi area. We paid to go to the Waterpark nearby but it was insanely crowded! My family and I stayed for a few hrs but my kids couldn't wait to run out that place and run back to the hotel pool lol. The 2bd apt wasn't huge but the beds in each bedroom were comfortable and we even had enough space to eat breakfast together in the well equipped kitchen. The bathroom is very small but if just need a space to shower and get cleaned up it was perfect. The entire apartment was also very very clean when we arrived! I hate to leave a mess so I actually even went and bought a broom to sweep up some of the sand all of the place. Really the only downside was no elevator (we were on the 3rd floor) but who doesn't need a little exercise every now and then. Building was also pretty secure. Passcodes to get onto the respective floors and then another code to get in to the apartment. Parking was a bit tricky, especially since we had to pick up trucks but we were fortunate to find parking right front and also utilized the parking lot just a few minutes on the corner. I don't have any complaints regarding our stay at Garfield Beach House. Affordable, clean, safe, dog friendly and only 2 blocks from the boardwalk. We will definitely be back! Quiet time in the house is between 8pm and 9am. No loud music playing and no loud phone conversations. Everyone is expected to clean up behind themselves in the common spaces of kitchen and bathroom. Eat only food you've bought to the house. Do not eat other's people's food.

Smoking / Drugs:
Strict no smoking in or on the property. No drugs policy.

Keys:
All guests are given a key code access at check in. For the room keys, do not make duplicate copies of the house key.

Utilities:
Please be respectful and turn off all utilities, computers, lights etc., when you are not home and lock the doors and windows when leaving. Host reserves the right to secure the property and enter and turn off excessive use of utilities or lights.

Trash:
This is not a hotel so it is expected that you maintain cleanliness in your room and common spaces at all times. All trash must be ***bagged and tied*** in plastic garbage bags and disposed of in the black trash cans. Blue cans are for loose recycled bottles and cans.

We will not be held responsible for bugs or pests due to food or drink being dropped, spilled or left carelessly on the floor, whether it be in the bedroom, kitchen, bathroom or other parts of the home.

Animals:

5. CLEANLINESS – SHARED RESPONSIBILITY
• This is NOT A HOTEL. You are staying in a shared environment with other guests.
• Cleaning staff visits once daily to maintain common areas, but guests are fully responsible for cleaning up after themselves, including washing their own dishes and removing personal trash.
• Guests must leave the bathroom, kitchen, and dining areas clean after use.
**Fee: $25 for unwashed dishes or dirty bathroom.
• No refunds will be issued due to mess caused by other guests.
• Linens and towels are freshly laundered, but minor stains from regular use may be present.

Parking:
Street parking ONLY. ***DO NOT*** park in the driveway. There is a tenant that pays for both spaces in the driveway. If it is found that you have parked in the driveway, a photo of your car and license plate will be submitted to Airbnb and a $100 charge violation fee per day of parking in the driveway will be enforced as well as towing at your own expense.

House Etiquette:
Quiet time in the house is between 8pm and 9am. No loud music playing and no loud phone conversations. Everyone is expected to clean up behind themselves in the common spaces of kitchen and bathroom. Eat only food you've bought to the house. Do not eat other's people's food.

Smoking / Drugs:
Strict no smoking in or on the property. No drugs policy.

Keys:
All guests are given a key code access at check in. For the room keys, do not make duplicate copies of the house key.

Utilities:
Please be respectful and turn off all utilities, computers, lights etc., when you are not home and lock the doors and windows when leaving. Host reserves the right to secure the property and enter and turn off excessive use of utilities or lights.

Trash:
This is not a hotel so it is expected that you maintain cleanliness in your room and common spaces at all times. This includes following the schedule on taking out the kitchen trash posted above the trash can. DO NOT book this residence if you are unable or unwilling to take out trash.

All trash must be ***bagged and tied*** in plastic garbage bags and deposed of in the black trash cans. Blue cans are for loose recycled bottles and cans.

We will not be held responsible for bugs or pests due to food or drink being dropped, spilled or left carelessly on the floor, whether it be in the bedroom, kitchen, bathroom or other parts of the home.

Animals:
The manager and staff of this property has severe allergies to animals, so no animals are allowed at this Airbnb booking at this time.

If it is discovered you and or your additional guests have violated our House rules or police/sheriffs have been called to the property because you have disturbed the peace, you agree that we have the right to demand that you vacate immediately without refund and you agree we have the right to film the violation of you and guests if necessary, to support our findings and report to Airbnb. Any holdover or your failure to vacate after our demand is issued, will be considered trespassing upon our property under applicable New Jersey laws and statues and you agree that your deposit with Airbnb may be use to settle any outstanding claims, violations and or associated legal fees.
