THE SPACE
Our cozy retreat features four private bedrooms—two on each level. With two queen beds (both equipped with brand-new mattresses in 2025) and five twin beds, everyone can rest comfortably. Each floor is also equipped with a bathroom for your convenience. We also now have Central AC so all rooms will be cool.

The spacious kitchen flows seamlessly into the dining room, offering breathtaking views of the lake. Adjacent to the dining area is a versatile side room, perfect for an extra dining space or a quiet spot to savor your morning coffee or evening cocktail.

Step outside and enjoy our fabulous outdoor spaces! A gentle slope leads down to the private dock, making trips to the lake easy and enjoyable. Off the dining room, a generous deck awaits, complete with ample seating, a BBQ grill, and a table large enough for family gatherings.

Down by the lake, you'll find a serene seating area ideal for soaking in the sunrise or unwinding while the kids splash around. There’s even a fire pit for roasting marshmallows under the starlit sky and spotting shooting stars.

Simply put, life by the lake is pure relaxation!

Guests have access to the whole house. Locked closets/areas are as follows: small closets in the twin room upstairs and crawlspace/basement.

75% of guests need to be 30 or older with an exception for children traveling with their parents. The remaining 25%, will need to be 25 and over.

Our communities are also governed by township Rental Ordinances which impose certain rules and regulations for owners.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Our rental management includes 24-hour emergency response for any issues that arise.

Parking is available for 4 cars plus 1 boat trailer. NO OTHER SPACES ARE AVAILABLE.
Day Guests are limited to 5 persons over the 10 allowed as overnight guests. (NO MORE than a total of 15 people are allowed at the house at any given time).

LAKE INFO
Swimming and/or Floating is encouraged. Water is great for swimming and water levels are always high enough for a boat to be docked.
Rocky Shoreline access – lake level fluctuates depending on the season.
Spring – Lake levels will be high. The docks do not start getting installed until late April. We do not GUARANTEE any dock in the water before Memorial Day.
Summer – High Water Mark is June 1st. Depending on the weather, the lake levels may come up higher than that making the docks hard to access as their walkways will be underwater. We do our best to make sure they are accessible, but we cannot always get to them on demand.
Fall – Water levels will be lowest, and docks will start to be removed from the lake until the spring. Boats can still be docked, water levels at the end of the docks are still acceptable for boat docking.
Winter – Lake usually freezes, and ice fishing is popular. Any access to the frozen lake is “at your own risk”.

NO FIREWORKS or discharging of any firearm is not permitted. Includes BB, air, pellet, paint guns.
Quiet time 11pm – 8am – this is a family-oriented neighborhood, no late-night parties allowed. Voices carry at night when it’s quiet. If you are out late at the firepit or on the deck, please keep noise to a minimum.

This lake front charmer sits in a quiet cove that faces the Shuman Point nature preserve. The 2 bedroom cabin offers all the modern conveniences of home in a peaceful rustic setting . Cozy up by an indoor fire in the cooler months or by the outdoor fire pit in nicer weather, this quaint little spot is great for all seasons.

Each bedroom has a queen sized bed. There is also a sleeping loft that includes 1 full bed and 2 twin beds. Kitchen is stocked with essential cookware, utensils, microwave oven, dishwasher, electric stove/oven, refrigerator, coffee maker and toaster oven. The cozy living room includes, a fireplace, cable TV and DVD Player and an assortment of board games. Wifi connection is included as well. 1 bathroom with the added bonus of double sinks. Washer and dryer are located in the basement. There is a large deck with a grill that overlooks the lake. A private dock makes this location perfect for boats and jet skis in the warmer months. Easy access to lake and dock from house.

The town is Lake Ariel, and the lake it is on is Lake Wallenpaupack. It is a Lake View home that's a short walk to the lake area ( I would estimate around 200 feet to get to the lake/launch area). It has a community beach area where you can hang out at the lake, launch kayaks, fish, etc.

Close to many restaurants around the lake area. Perfect getaway cabin!

For Spring Renters:
Yes you will need a fishing license. The outdoor pools aren't open till Memorial Day and then they're only open on the weekends until they go full time which is usually around the 3rd week of June. The lakes will be accessible but without lifeguards. So you can fish the lake from the shoreline. The Wallenpaupack lakefront is available and the playgrounds/ball fields/courts are always open. Pools/beaches close a few weeks after Labor Day, weather dependent. When the outdoor pools are closed the indoor pool schedule goes into effect. Please see the Wallenpaupack Lake Estates website for more information.

**Our home is not listed as Pet Friendly. We understand that many of you feel you have very well behaved dogs but our policy is strict. Please do not inquire if we will make an exception. Thank you!

THE SPACE
From the moment you step through the door, relaxation begins with cozy furniture and charming cabin décor. On the first floor, you’ll find two bedrooms—one with a queen bed and the other with a double bed. Upstairs, the loft area features two twin beds, and there’s an additional lakeside-facing bedroom with a queen bed. The second floor also houses a convenient washer and dryer.

The main floor boasts a newly renovated bathroom located between the two bedrooms, and an additional brand-new bathroom with a soaking tub overlooking the lake and a separate shower. The modern kitchen, tucked behind the dining room, offers ample countertop space, perfect for preparing meals. The large dining table comfortably seats eight, making it ideal for game nights or group dinners.

Outside, the screened porch easily accommodates eight people and keeps pesky bugs at bay in early spring. Just off the porch, the spacious deck features a propane Weber BBQ and additional seating to take in the stunning lake views. By the lakeside, there’s a firepit surrounded by Adirondack chairs, perfect for roasting marshmallows and sharing “fish tales.”

New for 2025 is a large "U"-shaped dock, ready to host your boat or a rental. Although the owner’s boat is moored there, there’s plenty of space on either side for your boats or jet skis. You’ll also have access to two stand-up paddleboards and two kayaks for exploring the water. Additionally, a newly improved pathway to the lake, complete with a mid-way seating area and a lakeside patio, ensures an easier and more enjoyable stroll to the water

75% of guests need to be 30 or older with an exception for children traveling with their parents. The remaining 25%, will need to be 25 and over.
This home is for families and respectful guests, it is not a party property. All bookings are required to sign a short-term lease after the booking has been accepted to satisfy community requirements.

WHO WE ARE
This property is managed by a local real estate agent. Property Owners rely on our team to book and manage their home for you and to make sure your rental needs are met. To make sure each property is well maintained, each reservation will require a rental agreement to be signed. The Rental Agreement is posted on this site and is available for review at check out. In addition to the Rental Agreement posted on VRBO, you will receive a Reservation Form that is required to be completed within 48 hours of receipt.
Our communities are also governed by township Rental Ordinances which impose certain rules and regulations for owners.

Day Guests are limited to 4 extra people over the 8 overnight guests allotted for the rental.

LAKE INFO
Swimming and/or Floating is encouraged. Lake levels are high enough during the season for swimming and boating.
Rocky Shoreline access – lake level fluctuates depending on the season.

Spring – Lake levels will be high. The docks do not start getting installed until late April. We do not GUARANTEE any dock in the water before Memorial Day.
Summer – High Water Mark is June 1st. Depending on the weather, the lake levels may come up higher than that making the docks hard to access as their walkways will be underwater. We do our best to make sure they are accessible, but we cannot always get to them on demand.
Fall – Water levels will be lowest, and docks will start to be removed from the lake until the spring. Boats can still be docked, water levels at the end of the docks are still acceptable for boat docking.
Winter – Lake usually freezes, and ice fishing is popular. Any access to the frozen lake is “at your own risk”.

HOUSE RULES
No Smoking inside – smoking outside only. Must not leave any butts and ashes behind
NO FIREWORKS or discharging of any firearm is not permitted. Includes BB, air, pellet, paint guns.
Quiet time 11pm – 8am – this is a family-oriented neighborhood, no late-night parties allowed. Voices carry at night when it’s quiet. If you are out late at the firepit or on the deck, please keep noise to a minimum.

- "The interior of this house had everything our family needed. The grounds could use some work - unassembled log racks, crushed garbage can, old pier sitting in pieces in front yard. A little effort to clean up would go a long way. Many stairs to the lake shouldn’t be discounted. It was a haul. Not for faint of heart!" - "We had a great time. AC units provided in all bedrooms for summer months and all rooms have ceiling fans. Please be advised when booking in winter months a 4-wheel drive vehicle may be necessary to access this property. No smoking.

The cabin has large windows with beautiful views as well as central air. 1st floor has a king bed. 2nd floor bedroom has 2 full beds and the 3rd bedroom is a loft with a queen bed. Fully stocked kitchen, Cozy screened-in sunporch and 2 full baths complete the home.

The space
This sun-filled home is just a short walk down a path to the lake. Enjoy fun-filled days on the water!General shopping needs are nearby, as well as quaint shops in town and many amazing local restaurants. Don’t forget to stop by the Hawley Silk Mill just minutes away!

Well behaved dogs allowed on a case-by-case basis for an additional $75 per pet fee. AirBnb only collects pet fees for the first pet, additional approved dogs will be an additional $75/pet charged post booking.
Please note we have a minimum age requirement of 25 years old.
We require the majority of guests to be above 25 years old, with the exception of families with children.
Parking is limited to 7 cars, No RVs.
Per local regulations, we are restricted to an overnight guest maximum of 10 guests and 15 total day guests.
