Inside the main residence are three suites and one bedroom on the first floor, two bedrooms and a bathroom on the second floor, open plan kitchen with waterfall marble island, breakfast room, family bathroom, river room with vaulted ceiling, tv room, dining room, two feature fireplaces, shower room, powder room, mudroom, games room, pantry and reception room. Nearly every room enjoys water views.

The residence can easily accommodate as many as 12 guests and offers the following private sleeping quarters:

- "I do not know where to start. This house, the community are not just clean but gorgeous not to mention huge inside. I have not met people this nice in a long time. Not just other people on vacation but homeowners. The beach was a short ride and you can go into delaware beaches or Maryland beaches. Best location we have had the luck of finding. If you do not want the loudness and party noise that you get staying in ocean city but want such fast access into ocean city and out, this is your place. We are a family with 20 down to 8 year olds and we spent most of our time at the community pool. The host is top notch. She listened to me ramble about personal worries before I was leaving and answered anything I asked once I was there. Mrs Davis provides wonderful, detailed directions in case you need stores and how to get to and from. We ate in for every meal but one. Everything needed to cook with was there and clean. We had a alarm, which made our little ones feel safe and in all honesty, if I could, I would move there now. I hope Ill get the opportunity to stay again next year."

Blake House represents one of the oldest colonial homes in Maryland, built by British settler, Charles Blake, of London, England, in 1691. The house is nestled within 12 acres of manicured gardens, boasting an abundance of indigenous and foreign flora, and surrounded by direct water access. But the most unique feature of this property is the Crown and Anchor Inn (circa. 1735), originally located in Southern Baltimore and moved to the estate in 1941.

The Space:
The estate boasts limitless amenities to ensure guests of all ages, sensibilities and sizes are entertained for days and days. Blake House offers an open plan living experience with expansive water views. Blake House has four ensuite bedrooms (one on the first floor). The grounds offer a 100ft pier with 10,000lb boat lift, outdoor corn hole and bocce ball courts, multiple outdoor dining areas, orchid potting shed, sauna house, fire-pits, lookouts, Kayaks, canoe, paddle board, and nature trails. - "Couldn't recommend this stay enough. Communication with the host was very easy (and hands-off, which we preferred), and check-in was seamless. Check-out was the easiest of any short rental I've ever stayed in (we didn't have to clean the whole house while also paying a cleaning fee, unlike some places). Location was as good as it seems (as long as you don't mind driving to the boardwalk, which wasn't a priority for us, and there was plenty else to walk to). And the house felt so lived in, down to having a kitchen full of useable cookware, even plenty of Tupperware for us to store leftovers after we cooked a big dinner. Only complaint was that the top bunkbed didn't have a railing, but we didn't need that bed in the end. A real place for real people."

- "Villa on the Potomac was lovely! I flew to MD to visit family and friends. I wanted a “little house” where I would be comfortable and where family or friends could spend a few relaxing hours at my place. The Villa was perfect! It was beautiful inside and quiet outside. The bed was very comfy and having access to my own kitchen fit the bill. It’s conveniently located to a very nice grocery store. Jean was readily available and quickly answered all my questions. - "I must say, Kristin was an amazing host. Overall communications were good. The photos do not give the property justice. The property was beautiful and the interior of the home was clean and welcoming as if you're visiting a hotel. We didn't take advantage of the amenities that were offered by the Host. We visited Ocean City and the host had outdoor chairs available for usage during our stay. I will rebook with Kristin in the near future. I'm so pleased with her professionalism and attention to detail leading up to our trip."
