Queen bed with one of the best views in the house. This room is an indoor walk through to one of the primary bedrooms. Primary bedroom has an outdoor entrance that can be used if privacy is needed in this bedroom. Full bathroom with shower and tub are beside this room.

Bedroom 7 :
Private cedar house complete with queen bed, couch, microwave, beverage fridge and TV. There is no bathroom, but it is a very short walk to the house. This is perfect for a young couple, or teenagers that want privacy. It does have heating and air conditioning but cannot accommodate extreme heat or cold temperatures so it may not always be available. It smells like cedar so you have to like that smell to stay there.

Pickleball: Regulation pickleball court with water views.

Swimming Pool:
Swimming pool with amazing views of the river. Pool will open in Mid-May and close in Sept depending on weather. Heating is not guaranteed in extreme temperatures. Life vests are provided.

Hot tub with water views.

Water Sports:
2 2 seater Kayaks. Feel free to bring your own. 120 ft dock is perfect for fishing, crabbing, and sun bathing. Dock can be used to dock your boat or jet ski however lifts are not available for use. You will be responsible for any damage caused by docking there. Discuss with property manager planning on bringing a boat as some boats are too large for low tide (3 ft.)
There are 2 marinas close by that will rent boat slips. One is North East River Marina located 16.7 miles from the River House that offers boat slips, (nightly or weekly rentals), pontoon boat rentals, a chartered 50 ft luxury cruiser that holds 10 people that allows you to customize your trip, and single and double kayaks. It is recommended that you reserve well in advance so that you assure availability. The other one is Locust Point Marina and it only rents boat slips.

Rental does not include access to the garages, sheds, or cottage. Property managers live in the cottage to help you with check in, oversee maintenance of the property grounds, and to promptly address any problems that you may have during your stay. They may or may not be living on site during your stay but are available 24 hours a day should you need assistance or have questions. Please be assured that you will have complete privacy and full use of all of the amenities without any interference. For added safety the outside of the property has security cameras that will only be viewed if there is a problem. There is no ongoing monitoring of these cameras, and there are NO active cameras inside the home during your stay.

Wineries and great restaurants near by. Minutes from I-95 and about 50 mins equal distance between Baltimore and Philadelphia Airport. Boating, hiking, camping, shopping, antiquing and a casino within 20 miles. There are state parks in every direction.

Controllable AC in almost every room which made it comfortable for everyone. Plenty of storage space. Owners were very helpful and responsive. My sister rented the 1 bed room apartment on the end when she came to visit for a couple days so its flexible that way. Really the only bad thing (which really wasn't terrible and we worked around it), was the 2nd shower is a little too small for larger people. Still won't stop us from coming back."

1. Pet Policy: **This property is NOT pet friendly. Please note, if we find evidence of an unauthorized pet in the home, we will ask for it to be removed immediately and guests will be charged a $400 non-refundable fine. This is also grounds for immediate removal of the guests from the home.

2. No Smoking: If any signs of smoking are documented, the renter agrees to pay $200.00 / per day.

3. Note, we do have a security camera at the home and it is recording 24/7, 365 days a year. It is facing the exterior of the home. There are no cameras inside the home.

4. Quiet hours for the property are between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Please keep the noise levels down over this time.

5. Upon booking, each guest will receive a guest rental agreement. This must be signed before the House Manual (which includes access instructions for the property) is sent.

6. Please keep the noise levels down over this time. Fireworks are strictly forbidden as they may scare the local farmers' cows very badly.

7. We now have amazing WiFi! There is a Star link installed for all your internet needs!

A romantic quiet getaway with our puppy. They definitely put in the time and work to make it a great experience. The sunsets were beautiful on the river. Through clean windows graced with breezy white panels the view of the Elk River filled the Dining area. To the right corner were twin beds filled with pillows to lounge or sleep. There was nothing lacking for fine TV/Cable Entertainment. The kitchen is brand new and well stocked. . . countertops are to "die for" The floors are high quality laminate throughout with an open floor plan design. The Queen Bed is exceptionally comfortable. . . a bit high for short folks like myself. The sweet bathroom is well appointed but compact. The weather only allowed us one evening to make a small fire in the Fire Pit. We sat on comfortable patio chairs where we reminisced about our 60 years of marriage n watched the River flow by and birds call to each other.The large trees overhead make keeping a spotless patio and flower beds difficult. Again we didn't have much chance to spend out there because of the weather. I was sad when I knew it was the last night in this beautiful place. Hopefully it will be the beginning of many more."

Nestled in Elk Neck, this delightful cabin offers a wonderful retreat for guests. With 2 cozy bedrooms featuring a queen, full, and twin bed, along with 3 bathrooms including a jetted bathtub, this enchanting property provides a pleasant stay. Additional spaces like a living room with a sofa bed and two offices with sofa and twin beds offer flexibility for guests. Convenient to multiple horse shows and marinas in the area. - "Good experience" - "Very nice house. The only thing we did not know that there was a trundle bed until the morning." - "We stayed for only one night, but we were comfortable and relaxed. Easy to find and had most of what we needed (missing soap and shampoo for instance). The location couldn’t be more peaceful, with horses nearby (no smell, though, if that’s a concern!) and a beautiful sunny outdoor patio. WiFi is good but phone service was spotty (not their fault of course). The bedroom situation is a little unusual- there are many places to sleep, but I’d say only one proper adult bedroom. The host was responsive and accommodating! Main critiques are all pretty minor & easily fixable: the tubs were not super clean, the TV is broken but functioning, and a few basic products were missing. We had a great stay and would definitely book again!"

Home is set on over 4 acres of land with plenty of open space to enjoy. Full kids play set as well as a sandbox for kids to enjoy. There is also a set space to have a camp fire to roast marshmallows. We have added a park style grill near the fire pit, as well as the necessary cookware for it. The backyard has plenty of room for tents and inflatables if desired they are available locally.

- "Very Nice!" - "Nice place, could use some maintenance work done. One fan in upstairs bedroom is very noisy and wobbly. A remote for the downstairs light/ fan missing so could not turn the 2nd light on. Maybe put a box of matches in the house so you could start a fire in the fire pit. Beds were comfortable. However we do have to enforce some rules for the safety of our house [ we take a lot of pride in it ] and to make sure we keep our neighbors happy. [ 1 ] The occupancy limit for this property is the same number of guests as your reservation at all times. $50. Per person a day or Violation of this could lead to the immediate removal of all guests without refund. [ 2 ] No parties, No loud music, No boisterous behavior. [ 3 ] Renters will respect and follow all rules as outlined in the House Rules Section. [ 4 ] Renters agree to not contact Host until they have read the house Manuel. Will be sent 2 days before arrival. [ 5 ] Smoking is strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate $500. fee. { 6 } Unless previously agreed upon Host , there is a $50.late checkout fee for the first hour and a rate of $100./ for each hour thereafter.
[ 7 ] If by your Fault of breaking any house rules causes a scheming conflict with other guests, you may be charged the amount owing the discount or refund, per guest. [ 8 ] Repeated infractions of the house rules can result in dispatching of our security team for immediate eviction with no refund, this will result in a $500 Penalty additional to any applicable fees. [ 9 ] Any missing/damaging items guest are responsible to pay the cost. If any windows or doors are left open after the guest leaves there will be a 250$ charge. They called and said theyd call to let know when its fixed, but never did, mind u we just drove 8 hours.
