Animal friendly 1900's remodel farm house. Great for 2 couples! 1 mile from Berlin,10 minutes from Ocean City and Assateague. Berlin and Assateague are both dog friendly. The Ocean room is the master with a kind bed on the second floor with bathroom. The Bay Room is on the second floor, double bed. Bathroom on first floor. Has a kitchen, living room, sun room, outdoor bar and kitchen and patio. My boyfriend, Lee and I live on the back of the property in a camper. So we are right here if you need anything or have any questions.

This area was historically called Red Landing and an old ramp and concrete kiln that might have provided pitch to repair the bottom of boats trafficking the river remain on the property as evidence of a bygone era when steamboats regularly traveled the river .

And surf fishing in the ocean is excellent. Landings all along the shoreline provide excellent opportunities for crabbing, and the sandy bottom in the shallow parts of bay is a fun place to clam. Watched the Wallops rocket launch from the balcony. House was very clean and the renovation was well done down to the detail. The kitchen facilitated everything we needed for daily meals. The home was super clean and pet friendly . the area was quiet and super convenient to get to everything 10 minutes to Assateague beach/park to see the wild horses and we seen plenty of them, and only about 15 minutes to ocean city beach and boardwalk. Also don’t see the city of Berlin there is plenty of restaurants and antiques shops . I will definitely be back and if you are considering this place give them a try you will not be disappointed."

-Atlantic Hotel, classic & classy Berlin restaurant, nice outdoor seating to enjoy the street, american foods, seafood.
-Assateague Crab House you will pass by on your way to Assateague Park. Eastern shore down home cooked seafood! Fresh fantastic seafood & crabs!
-The Sterling Tavern, (some seafood) american food, tacos & such, very good, they sometimes have bands play at night, more laid back atmosphere.

A cool little local area is sunset marina in west ocean city, about a 10 min drive from the apartment. Its a local commercial fishing harbor with lots of great restaurants! Pretty much all the restaurants are right on the water, you can sit back and check out the boats!

Welcome to Deerfield Farm, a waterfront estate on 56 secluded acres in Berlin, MD, at the gateway to the upscale South Point neighborhood. We enjoy western exposure and are known for panoramic views of the coastal wetlands, soft breezes, and stunning sunsets.

We sit on Holland Creek with views of Newport Bay. We are only minutes from the famous beaches of Assateague Island National Seashore Park, Historic Downtown Berlin, West Ocean City, 18 championship golf courses, and the beaches.

With 9 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms, the estate sleeps up to 20 people and is accessed through a paved driveway that passes a stocked freshwater pond. The home features a large landscaped yard with multiple patios, a pergola, a fire pit, decks, and covered porches that offer views over coastal wetlands, Holland Creek, and Ocean City Golf Course.

We provide canoes, kayaks, SUPs, and a pedal boat for guests to use during their stay. Guests can enjoy fishing and crabbing from the dock and pier.

This quaint 2nd floor guest room has a vintage mahogany canopy bed, with a queen size memory foam mattress. There is also an additional four post twin bed. It has a private bathroom with a walk in shower, located just outside the room. This guest room can also connect to the Cliveden Room, if it is available.

Chanceford Hall is luxuriously focused on the smallest details to ensure you feel spoiled during your stay. A lavish multi course breakfast is served in the dining hall on fine gold rimmed China as you sit on Rococo revival chairs which bring your historical experience to life, while you savor a menu catered to the season with the freshest local ingredients.

Though our rooms do not include televisions due to our Colonial theme throughout, we have recently added a 70" television to our outdoor sitting area to make sure you can catch any important game or event, or just have something on the background. We also have a pool table, darts, comfortable outdoor furniture, and a large Jenga game, perfect for hanging out with friends or family after a day at the beach or exploring the Eastern Shore.

Stay just a few blocks from downtown and absorb the coastal scene, but from a small country town? Locals see the town as a perfect place, the ocean and beach are at their fingertips, but away from the traffic and the headaches of the resort city. Some are natives, born and raised, working on the boardwalk or at restaurants as kids, while off from school for the summer, year-after-year. A few, who found their passion in the service industry, are now living their best dreams. Thankfully, they chose Berlin as the location of their well thought out menu, or vision of a perfectly stocked boutique, or passion of concocting the perfect beverage. The Sunshine House places you perfectly between a few of these risk-takers, located between the downtown hub and the north side of town with the brewery less than 2 blocks away, with wood-fired brick-oven pizza and new distillery beyond.

The quaint, colonial style home went through its own “revitalization” recently. I doubled the square footage to accommodate my two children, and finally, just finished a fourth bedroom. To that, adding 1.5 baths with all new (except where purposely left) finishes, fixtures, windows, appliances, electrical, plumbing, etc most all modern amenities. Tile and hardwood, retained and refinished pine flooring, granite countertops, wood-burning stove, exposed ceilings are a few of the highlighted features.

This home's quiet neighborhood is welcome whenever I return to the area. Guests will safely park off-street in the driveway, which can accommodate up to 3-4 vehicles. All outdoor areas, decks, seating, gas grill, etc. are for the exclusive use of Sunshine House Guests. Inside the home, you’ll find the laundry washer and dryer, adjacent full kitchen with appliances, big and small, and all the essentials to prepare meals. The open layout flows though the dining area, living room, and across the front of the home to the foosball table promote a little friendly competition.
