This is a spacious furnished apartment connected to my home. Large bedroom with queen sized bed, living room, dinning nook, kitchenette and bathroom. As well as a private 2 car driveway and private direct entrance into the apartment. Queen sized air mattress fits comfortable in the common area or in the main bedroom.

The apartment is less than 5 miles from Dover Downs & DSU, less than 3 miles from Wesley College, and only minutes from the Dover AFB. Located just off of the Route 1 exits as well.

ABSOLUTELY NO PETS OR ANIMALS OF ANY KIND ALLOWED IN THE UNIT - Unfortunately, I can not host reservations with animals. I have severe allergies and the ventilation between the home and the apartment is shared as well as all outdoor spaces on the property. My physical health is a priority . Requests with animals will be declined. Reservations who show with an animal will be immediately cancelled without refund, a claim for the $150 security deposit as well as an additional $350 fee for deep cleaning and duct cleaning to remove all traces of allergens.

Many people enjoy fishing here!!! WiFi and Cable available. Kitchen is fully stocked with the exception of a conventional oven and dishwasher. Alternative forms of cooking readily available: Microwave, stove top, crock pot, "wolfgang" pressure oven and a grill on the back deck. Conservation Wildlife Refuge view from front of the house and a quick walk out back to the beach. Quiet, quaint small town with corner store for your convenience. (Closed during winter months). Entire place is freshly painted and renovated as of Oct 2021.

The constant question I get is "how close to the beach" is the house located. Well it is literally a 2 minute walk out the back door.

This is a cozy 1 bedroom studio apartment with a full bathroom and small kitchen right in the heart of downtown Frederica, Delaware. Everything inside this apartment is new! Access is super easy via Wi-Fi lock and the apartment has its own private entrance so that you can come and go as you please.

This apartment is 2.5 miles to Delaware Turf Sports Complexans 30 miles to the beaches. Route 1 freeway access is only half a mile from this space.

New memory foam mattresses are included on all beds and hotel quality cotton sheets (The king bed is a comfortable 12 inch memory foam). There is a 65 inch HDTV with channels available via YouTubeTV. A desk (as pictured) with charging for laptop/devices or for eating a meal is provided. White noise machines are available at each nightstand if you prefer white noise while you sleep. This space is professionally cleaned after each use.

The town of Frederica does have two good restaurant options. Frederica Pizza and Pasta house is a short walk from the front door of this apartment and a great place to grab something to eat or drink without having to get in your car. Burgers & Brews is also a short walk and has live music most weekends (only open March – November). JPs on the Wharf is another great restaurant with live music on the weekends located 6.2 miles in the small fishing town of Bowers Beach.

On street parking is free and available. As always, please make sure to not leave any valuables in your vehicle & keep it locked.

There is a firehouse across the street from this space. Alarms are not daily and most are not during bedtime hours, however, full disclosure that there the chance of the sound of a fire siren.

2nd Floor Apartment in Historic Clayton Building. Central Heat and AC, Wifi and 55" TV with apps, Plenty of off street parking. Walking distance to local coffee shop, local restaurant and parks. Short drive to everything Delaware and Maryland has to offer.

2 large bedrooms, 1 with a queen bed and large windows on one wall. 2nd bedroom has a king bed and no windows that is perfect for mid day nap or anyone that works nights and like to sleep during the day.

Public parking in front of building and private parking on side of the building. Short walk to park with outdoor kids toys or stroll 100 yards to the veterans park with gazebo. Historic Clayton Train station right across the street and and food truck parked there a few nights a week. A short walk to Main street that has a cupcake shop, Coffee shop in the historic old town hall building or stop in Clayton Liquors for adult beverages. Bring those beverages back to the Apt and sit on the front deck and watch the train or fire trucks come though if you are lucky. Deck is small but has a small bench and enough room for a couple people to sit and talk. Also the deck has a swing gate so you can leave the front door open and let the kids play in site of the adults or let the breeze pass though the Apt at night. The living room and dining space outer walls have large windows. Our guests love to open in the spring and fall nights for a nice cross breeze.

Apartment is listed as 6 guests. We base this on 4 adults but more are welcome if children. Keep in mind the Apt only has the 2 beds though. The bedrooms are large enough for blow up mattress or the nook off the living room is also another space for the kids to "campout"

The bed was comfortable, but the pullout single bed is not at all. Most pullouts aren’t, but this goes to a new level. This unit was fine for myself for a couple of nites because I was looking for an inexpensive option. But when my 15 yr old son spent the last nite there with me, I got the pullout which was not good at all. I didn’t use the kitchen, but it looked fine and clean. The location is okay, but I wouldn’t feel comfortable going for an evening stroll."
