Just a minute away, down the street, Is the local seafood restaurant JP's and Bayview Tavern. If You like Fishing Please Visit the local bait store, which is located right next to the restaurant. Want to know our town's history don't forget to visit our museum down the road.

Less than two miles away, is the sports complex which hosts many field hockey, Lacrosse, and soccer events. The Dover Mall, Bally's Casino, and the historic City of Dover are just twenty minutes North. The beach is within walking distance where you can enjoy fishing crabbing, and exploring the beach. The beach and local dog park are friendly.

Had seafood dinner at JP's Wharf & the crab cakes were yummy! Was a short walk down the street. . " - "It was a generally ok place. It’s def in the cut off Rt. 1. The lack of communication from the owner surprised me. After a minor logistical issue at the outset, everything worked out ok. The fridge was stocked with water and multiple different sodas. I enjoyed my breakfast out on the deck. A big TV was mounted up high. The AC worked well. A smaller TV I guess was supposed to be showing the doorbell camera 24/7. The bathroom mirror had Bluetooth which I couldn’t figure out. There aren’t many, like possibly zero, services in the area. So stock up before you head to the place. You’re near the DE Turf field complex. Dover and the beaches are 20+minutes away. The one night rental is nice and not easy to find in that part of Delaware in Summer. I liked the idea of the overhead shower. If you’re taller than about 6’ 2” you’ll have to duck when under it. The towels were very nice and thick. It was a sofa bed with a very uncomfortable mattress. Sleeping on the couch might be preferable. The water smelled heavily of Sulphur. There was a water cooler for drinking water plus many bottles of water. But the shower was a bit smelly. I appreciated the paper plates and plasticware available. The Wi-Fi worked. It’s marketed as sleeping 4, with 2 on the pullout and 2 in the loft. Currently the loft is off-limits per the guest instructions. I hope potential renters are notified of this. My AT&T had no service anywhere nearby. I had to drive a mile back toward Rt. 1 to get a signal."

Welcome to this charming bayfront cottage located on the Delaware Bay in quaint Kitts Hummock! Walk straight out back to the deck and the water is right there. Perfect for wading and strolling. This is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom that sleeps 4 adults with 2 King beds. As you walk in, you will see the dining room and living room in front of you and the kitchen to the left. One bedroom on the first floor and the second bedroom is upstairs. Access the sunroom and deck via the first floor and a waterfront balcony from the upstairs bedroom. Enjoy the views and the relaxing vacation you need! This cottage is perfect for nature lovers and those that thoroughly enjoy seeing the famous horseshoe crabs make their way to the DE bay each spring/summer. Watch the resident hummingbirds, rabbits, doves, and seagulls from the decks, or hike to the north end of the beach for a glimpse of deer taking a swim in the bay if you're lucky enough to get there at the right time!
