Location is the key! This cottage is located a half block to the beach and is one street over from the main street, Garfield Parkway. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 baths and an outdoor shower. This cottage was completely renovated in 2006 and includes a modern kitchen and so important to a summer house at the beach central air conditioning through out. The kitchen has all new appliances, family size (92 inch) table that seats everyone comfortably, The living room has a new flat screen, with cable and wireless internet throughout the house. Enjoy relaxing afternoons on the outside back yard deck and quiet summer evenings on the front screened in porch. 3 bedrooms have queen beds and one bedroom has 2 twin beds. Linens (bed linens, bath and beach towels) are included from Memorial Day through Labor Day Week. Best Breakfast in area is either Ocean View Diner or Penguin Diner. Both include Gluten/wheat free menus.

Cafe 26 is our favorite place for dinner but we have many of the top chefs of the Northeast here in the area! Don't forget Difebos for authentic Italian delicacies. They feature two of the many graduates of the CIA (Culinary Institute of Arts), New York. Nantuckets in Fenwick is great as well as all of the Hooked restaurants and Matts! Matts has one of the greatest cocktail hours in Fenwick and Fins cannot be beat in Bethany Beach! Mangoes is always a fun time too!

Night life is quiet in Bethany but a short drive (15 minutes) in either direction brings one to Rehoboth Beach/Dewey Beach to the North or Ocean City, MD to the South.
G&E Hockers has the best German style deli, bakery, grocery, hardware store in DE. It also has the nearest gas pumps. Be sure to try the store cooked deli meats and bakery items. It is about a 1/4 to 1/2 mile west on Fred Hudson Road.

The space
Interact easily with your group as all rooms are located on one floor in an open concept space. The high ceilings and sky lights create a bright, welcoming atmosphere. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed and an attached 1/2 bathroom. The second bedroom has a twin-sized loft above a twin-sized bed, and there is a twin bed next to it. A full bathroom is located in the hall between both bedrooms with a bathtub and shower. The living room area has a comfortable sectional with a full size sofa bed and a 55” HDTV with DVD player for your viewing pleasure. Wifi is included and TV has an Amazon Fire Stick. The fully stocked kitchen is perfect for dining with an island that seats 6, large stainless steel refrigerator, brand new quiet, stainless steel dishwasher, new stainless steel range, microwave, Duo coffee maker for pods or drip coffee, and all the dishes, pots and pans, and utensils you need. There is a new gas grill outside with a picnic table as well. Wash the salt and sand away in the refreshing outdoor shower. Enjoy your coffee or cool beverage on the front porch. Our quiet street has 6 houses with a dead end and no through traffic. The unit is pet and smoke free.

The house is on pilings with off street parking for 3 cars maximum, as well as space for your bikes, chairs, and beach toys. There are 13 steps outside of the unit to get from parking below to main floor. Well lit, outdoor steps take you from the parking area to the unit above. An extra parking lot is located just behind the unit near the entrance to the Bahamas Beach Cottages neighborhood.

Guests have access to the entire unit, except the owners' locked sheds and attic.

Other things to note
1. Just behind our unit near the entrance to the Bahamas Beach Community, is a canal launch, so bring your kayaks or paddle boards. A nature trail runs along the canal and next to the neighborhood perfect for walks and exploring. Two neighborhood ponds provide a great place to relax, fish or view the sunsets.

2. When you arrive, please see the house binder for Wifi access, garbage and recycling days, air conditioning instructions, and other important information.

3. Please use aerosol sunscreens outside and away from the house.

4. Cable tv is not included. Amazon Fire Stick for streaming is provided for your subscriptions.

5. Linens and towels are not provided, as with most rentals in the area, but can be rented in town from several vendors. (Cleaning services do not stay long enough to wash and dry multiple loads of linens.)

6. The house is not child proofed. Please monitor children during stay.

7. Paper/plastic products (toilet paper, paper towels, 13 gallon trash bags, 4 gallon recycling bags) and soaps (hand, dish, body & laundry) are not provided, but might be left over from previous guests.

The master bedroom has a queen size bed. The guest bedroom sleeps 5. It has a built in bed frame that includes a full size bed with a single pull out trundle bed as well as two single bunk beds.

The main bedroom has a Queen-sized bed, while the other bedroom is furnished with a full-sized bed, and 3 twin beds that are bunk beds and there is a sofa bed that is a full size for comfortable for sleeping up to 8 people in a pinch. There are 1.5 baths and a spacious outdoor shower/changing room for washing that sand and salt off after a fun day at the beach. The spacious living room is furnished with couches and an entertainment center with Roku for your enjoyment. The kitchen is perfect for dining as it is equipped with a stove, microwave and a full refrigerator. There is an outdoor grill that can be used as well. The property is just minutes away from all of best attractions, and guests are sure to enjoy having the whole home to themselves.

Wifi is available along with a Bose stereo speakers to play your fav music from your mobile device/iPad. Also, Roku premium is available to sign in and watch your favorites. No cable tv is provided. The property is within a mile of the beach so a walk or bike ride to the beach is the most popular way to get there. There are several security cameras for your safety under the house and one facing the porch entrance. The cameras under the house and on the porch are not to be blocked, moved or touched. Doing so will be a reason to ask you to vacate. Temp min is 72 degrees.

After you eat, play a game of Scrabble or watch a movie on the 36" Roku smart TV before heading to a deep sleep. Sunrise beach walks await!

Welcome to our beautiful, dog-friendly vacation rental property! Our 3-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom home is the perfect place for your next getaway. Located in the Middlesex Beach Community on the bayside, this home is a 3-minute walk to the beach. This private, uncrowded beach is a hidden gem with beautiful sand, lifeguards, and no crowds. This unique community within Bethany Beach is truly one of a kind! You are also a short drive away from award-winning restaurants, mini golf, shopping and the Bethany Beach Boardwalk.

This home is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to make a meal at home, Wi-Fi, a coffee maker, and more. Additional space in the back allows for your dog to enjoy. Each of the 3 bedrooms is tastefully decorated and features a queen bed in the first bedroom, another queen bed in the second bedroom, and two twin beds in the third bedroom.
