The cutest cottage awaits you in the newest community in Cape Charles! This home features 3 bedrooms 2.5 bathrooms with first floor primary bedroom suite. This is an open concept living room, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The second level includes a surprise second living area. This is perfect for familes with children who can have their own space (the kids will love the foosball table), or an area to unwind, read a book and enjoy some down time. There are 2 additiional bedrooms and the couch in the upstairs living area is a pull out sofa. The full upstairs bath has a double sink and a bathtub. An added bonus is the large outdoor shower to rinse off after a day on the beach. The driveway accommodates multiple cars and recreational vehicles.

Short walk to Kiptopeke State Park which offers a beach area, fishing pier, boat ramp, kayak rentals, playground and walking for the whole family. Home includes large covered deck, washer and dryer, microwave,stove, toaster oven and Refrigerator. Also Heat and air. One bedroom has queen bed, 2nd bedroom has full size bed and 2 twin bunk beds. 2 cat napper electric reclining sofas. One electric recliner ( for renters with pets please add a cover on furniture for pets that shed).

Charming Victorian Cottage is ready for your FUN FILLED or TOTALLY RELAXING get--a-way. The cottage has a fresh coat of paint (both inside and out) and a yard that invites one to slow down and relax to enjoy something blooming from frost to frost. The furnishings are a mix of family heirlooms (the dining table was my great grandmothers) and new furniture. Enjoy coffee (or cocktails) on the front porch (or back porch if you prefer). We are a friendly front porch community so don't be surprised to be greeted by folks as neighbors or vacationers pass by on their way to shops and restaurants on Mason Ave (Main Street only a block away), Central Park and the children's playground (only a half block away) or the beach (three blocks away). Rent a golf cart locally or take your car to the Harbor (2 blocks), Marina (5 blocks) or the Bay Creek Golf Courses - one designed by Arnold Palmer and the other Jack Nicklas. There is an in-house book lending library, plenty of games and WiFi.

- "This property is superbly situated within a block of town center and just a few blocks from the beach and has two porches to enjoy the outdoors. The back yard reminds us of a English garden. While we were there several people came asked to see the "garden" The only problem was the gas grill. The owner put in a new can of propane but it would get get above 250 degrees. Luckily we had a charcoal grill. Overall it was a very good experience."

We also had some difficulty with the sound on the tv in the living area and got locked out of the one in the bedroom. Newly renovated beach cottage - The Little Jewel. Cozy beach decor with all amenities just bring your swim suit. Full stocked kitchen, if you like to cook. Or one block over is Mason Avenue with restaurants and shopping to enjoy. Enjoy the sunsets on the over sized porch. Perfect for small families and couples. We love Cape Charles the beach is almost private. We do our best to provide everything you may need to have a wonderful get away as stress free as possible. Our goal is the have repeat guests that will love our cottage as much as we do. We own the Little Gem next door. Check it out if your dates are not available for the Little Jewel.

Summer season starts May 15 th. The minimum nights for bookings is 4 nights. I do not allow pets. Also housekeeping does not make beds clean sheets are provided and places on each bed.

Welcome to Bayside Fun! Our 1880's home on Randolph Ave. is located in the Cape Charles Historic District. Enjoy our large fenced in backyard or sit on our wrap around front porch and watch the world go by. We are within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the beach (5 blocks). This house comfortably sleeps 6 adults with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, outside shower, and bonus sleeping area. All sleeping areas have smart TV's and the 1st floor bedroom features an en suite bathroom.

The space
Decorated in a fun, beachy theme using many decorating elements from the local shops and artists. We even have a mural in the kitchen by a local artist! Our goal is to have repeat guests who enjoy it as much as we do! Our downstairs is pet friendly (well behaved dogs only). Pets must be pre-approved (please send a message telling us about your dog) and included on the reservation.

The bonus room, featuring a full-sized bed, sofa, and TV, is a room used to access the third bedroom. It's perfect for a nap or an area for children to sleep. It does have a curtain that runs the length of the room for privacy while sleeping. Both bathrooms have clawfoot tubs which do require a large step up to use. Window AC units are located in all bedrooms and the kitchen to keep you nice and cool during your stay. Dining options include bar stools for 6 around the kitchen island or outdoor table. If you are visiting our house in the fall, we have electric baseboard heat and a direct vent gas fireplace which will keep you super toasty.

Step outside to find a well-equipped grilling area with three options: a classic Weber charcoal grill, a Pit Boss Lexington wood pellet grill, and a Cuisinart 30-inch round flat top XL griddle.

The first floor also features nine Google Nest smart speakers, all pre-programmed into intuitive Spotify speaker groups such as Kitchen, Living Room, and Whole House. After connecting to WiFi, guests can cast music directly from their Spotify app to any room—no setup required.

Smart home control is built around Google Nest Hub touchscreens located in the kitchen, living room, and all three bedrooms. These displays allow guests to control lighting throughout the house and adjust Spotify music playback across the speaker groups.

Upstairs, the second floor includes two king bedrooms, each with a private en suite bath, 55" Roku smart TV, Google Nest speaker, and nightstands equipped with wireless charging stations that support phones, Apple Watches, and AirPods. Showers feature massaging handheld showerheads for spa-style comfort. The main upstairs bedroom includes an Xbox Series S with two controllers. The second upstairs bedroom includes a PlayStation 3 with two controllers. This level includes six additional smart speakers, all part of the home’s multi-room audio system.

The third floor features a private queen bedroom with a Roku smart TV and its own Google Nest Hub touchscreen (which includes built-in speaker functionality). Adjacent to this room is a dedicated exercise space with a Peloton bike (fully registered), dumbbells, yoga mat, ceiling fan, 42" smart TV, and a half bath.

The property is exceptionally private, located at the end of a quarter-mile-long private driveway. Our closest neighbors are 1/4 mile away, at the start of the drive. The house is backed by an extensive tract of forestland and bordered by large, open farm fields on either side, providing a deep sense of quiet and seclusion. Out by the firepit, you’ll enjoy unobstructed sunset views, with nothing but treetops and sky in sight. It’s the perfect setting for winding down after a day of exploring.

Just beyond the home, guests can explore some of the best hiking and biking trails on Virginia’s Eastern Shore. The 445-acre Magothy Bay Natural Area Preserve begins just steps from the front door, offering peaceful paths through forest, marsh, and coastal wetlands—home to clapper rails, terrapins, and migratory birds. A short ride or drive brings you to even more stunning trails, including the Southern Tip Bike & Hike Trail, Cape Charles Natural Area Preserve, and the Butterfly Trail at the National Wildlife Refuge. For a bit of history, don’t miss the massive WWII-era gun emplacement just down the road—a dramatic and unexpected reminder of the region’s military past.

Guests have full private access to the entire home, including all three floors, the kitchen, dining room, living room, arcade, Peloton fitness area, and all outdoor spaces. You'll also have use of the full-size sleeper sofa in the living room, the laundry area, all three outdoor grills (charcoal, pellet, and flat-top griddle), the driveway with Level 2 EV charger, and the entire smart home setup—including Google Nest Hubs, smart speakers, and pre-programmed Spotify speaker groups.

Unlike downtown Cape Charles, there are no restrictions on boat parking at The Ladybug. The driveway and surrounding turnaround space easily accommodate trailers, including larger bay boats and center consoles. You'll also find outdoor power access available for charging marine batteries, trolling motors, or kayak setups. A hose runs from the back of the house to the front for convenient boat rinse-downs, and we provide a portable fish cleaning table and buckets so you can clean your catch right on site.

Everything is designed for your comfort, convenience, and coastal adventure. Come and go as you please—we’ve set the entire space up for you to enjoy fully.

No keys to lose or return! The property uses a secure August Smart Lock system for keyless entry. You'll receive a personalized code for your stay and can also unlock the front door using your smartphone with the August app.

All TVs at the house are equipped with Roku Guest Mode, so you can log into your streaming services and enjoy your shows worry-free—Roku automatically logs you out after your stay ends—no need to remember to sign out or risk leaving your accounts behind.

Completely stripped down to the studs and thoughtfully renovated in 2018, this beauty is the perfect blend of historic small-town vibes and all the creature comforts you didn’t know you couldn’t live without.

Whip up your famous family feast in the spacious kitchen — complete with a peninsula that seats six, so nobody’s left out of the kitchen conversation. Coffee lovers, rejoice! Our deluxe coffee and cappuccino maker means you can sip like you’re in a hip café — no judgment if you’re still in your pajamas.

The main level is all about open-concept good times, with cozy spots to lounge, laugh, and pile up those board games and puzzles (we’ve got plenty on hand!). Need a little quiet time away from the chaos? Pop into the den with its comfy futon and TV for your solo binge session—or curl up with a good book (we’ve got plenty for all ages!). You can even transform the space into a surprise 4th bedroom with the handy privacy screen. We are actually permitted to sleep up to eight guests.

Downstairs, bright twin beds await — perfect for kids or adults who’d rather skip the stairs. (We see you, smart planner.) A half bath just steps away makes it extra convenient and comfy.

Upstairs, the king-sized primary bedroom is basically a suite fit for royalty. Two sinks, a massive walk-in shower, and a private toilet room make it your own little sanctuary after a day at the beach. The queen bedroom upstairs is just as sweet with ample closet space and quick access to a full bathroom with double sinks — because sharing is caring, but not when it comes to your toothbrush!

Need a quick rinse after the sandcastles? Step into the dreamy outdoor shower just off the back deck. Speaking of decks, our front porch is perfect for sipping morning coffee and watching the world go by, while the back deck — twinkling with festive party lights — is made for grilling, chilling, and making memories under the stars.

Your fur babies are family here, too! Well-mannered pups get a warm welcome with dog bowls and a handy dog/foot wash in the backyard.

We’ve got you covered with a super thorough cleaning by Cape Charles’ best crew — spotless and ready for your arrival. Laundry? No problem. Washer, dryer, and a few laundry pods are right upstairs for those ‘just in case’ moments.
