Family Beach Cottage with perennial flower garden, screened porch and small open deck with plenty of seating. Four blocks from ocean, in the middle of the resort boardwalk area, close to restaurants. Within easy walking distance of the 24th St stage, the Neptune statue, the new Dome concert venue and wave pool. It is about 8 walking blocks from the Convention Center and Athletic Center. In the summer, free entertainment along Atlantic Ave in the evenings provided by Beach Events. Two bedrooms, lovely décor. South bedroom holds a beautiful cast-iron canopy QUEEN bed custom-made for the Pink House by Levin's Brass Beds of Virginia. North room holds FULL-size bed with a SINGLE-size roll-away underneath, new mattresses and pillows. Total, the cottage should be able to sleep a family of 5 comfortably, depending on the size and needs of the individuals. Linens are provided and beds made for you for your arrival so you don't have to do anything. *Be aware that full-size bed may not fit larger guests comfortably. The house might only then fit 3. We count on your experience to know your own needs. Main room has a dresser and the second room has shelf, small closet with portable racks for hanging wet clothes and towels. Appliance-equipped kitchen for cooking complete meals (no ice-maker or dish-washer), microwave, crock pot, and 2 types of coffee maker, handy for those traveling with special diet restrictions or busy families. Small backyard, no fence. Dining/living areas, tv, high-speed internet, Netflix and cable, central air, fireplace for off-season. Games, books, and drawing items for use. Grocery store and coin laundry just 1/2 mile away towards the north. Day street parking in front of the house (we provide Guest Pass for nearby overnight public garage parking. Fee only if you lose the pass. Garage is inbetween cottage and the beach within 1/4 mile. The city will not give guest passes to STRs any longer, starting in 2025) Flowers almost all year 'round, changes by the Owner's whim or Mother Nature's mood swings. Cleaning costs have already been included (some as part of daily fee, some as one time prep). Cozy 100% cotton linens provided with one fee per stay, beds will be made for arrival, one bath and one beach towel per guest (cost remains constant year-round). Kitchen linens provided. Reasonable amount of toilet paper and soap as well (We do not guarantee supply for stay. It's been surprising variety in demand). This cottage is like having an aunt with a beach house. *CLEANING: Since the Covid-19 shut-down, we have been cleaning and painting at the cottage. Our housekeeper has asthma so we do not make a habit of using harsh chemicals in the house unless absolutely needed. In addition to our normal system of using mild cleansers, we are finishing all guest preparation by wiping down 'touchy' surfaces like handles and light switches with alcohol disinfectant as we walk out the door and lock it behind us. Sheets, towels, and pillowcases will be washed. Blankets and coverlets will be run through a hot dryer, just for sanitation (they don't typically need to be washed after every use). We have removed most of the rugs in the house to make it easier to clean. Chairs were switched out to hard surfaces that are easier to wipe down. Be aware that there is no dishwasher in the house. If you feel uncomfortable using the supplied housewares, please bring paper plates, etc.
We are doing our best to provide you with a safe and comfortable environment during your stay. Please keep us in mind as well, and as much as we would like to host you, please do not come unless you are symptom free. Selma the house-keeper cares for the elderly in her other job. It is very important she stays healthy. We are grateful for your co-operation.

The expansive covered porch on this home with ample patio furniture provides endless opportunities to take in the breathtaking sunsets and abundant wildlife on the Back Bay. There are lounge chairs for relaxing and sunbathing next to the water or you can play a game of cornhole while soaking up the views. If you are feeling adventurous, take a paddle using the two single person kayaks available for exploring the bay or bring your fishing poles and try your luck at landing the catch of the day - your porch is less than 10 steps from the water! You are welcome to use our beach chairs and umbrella for your beach time. In addition, the gated Surfside complex provides two outdoor pools, a sauna, playground, fitness room, tennis/pickleball courts (we provide pickleball racket/balls for your use), basketball court, and boat ramp for you to enjoy during your stay. **Your Cottage**
To ensure that you enjoy a restful vacation, there is a private master bedroom with new queen sized Helix Sunset Luxe mattress. This home also has a twin day bed with twin size trundle bed with memory foam mattresses (this provides two twin beds for sleeping), washer, dryer, gas grill, an efficiency kitchen (including dishwasher and other typical appliances and housewares), and a private bathroom with standard plumbing fixtures (not RV or camper style). We provide a Ninja Foodie air fryer oven, convection microwave, and gas cooktop (but no traditional oven). No smoking is allowed. Pets are generally welcome (subject to a pet fee).

**Location**
Although only a 15 mile drive from the bustling Virginia Beach Oceanfront, the Sandbridge Beach community feels like a world away with its low key, uncrowded beaches, serene bay views, and close proximity to miles of undeveloped, protected shoreline for you to explore. There are no hotels in Sandbridge, only private residences.

You can bike or walk to the beach, however there is free on-street parking near the many public beach access points and this home is located near Little Island Park which provides parking, bathhouses, playground, and a fishing pier for your beach outing. The resort is two blocks from the Atlantic Ocean, and this home is located on the water near the back of the resort to provide you additional privacy and unobstructed Back Bay views.

Please be aware that this is a park model RV, so our cottage is best for small groups as it is cozy. Also, we are located in a gated RV resort. The other lots in the resort are privately owned and are occupied by other recreational vehicles.

Due to the seasonal nature of rentals and the need to monitor our property when it is unoccupied, we have an exterior doorbell camera and an exterior camera facing the parking area. We have no interior cameras. We respect our guests’ privacy, but took this measure to ensure we can safeguard our property.

The BLUE HEAVEN BEACH COTTAGE is located on Ocean Front Ave making it easy to take a cup of coffee to watch the early morning sunrise or to run back to the house for lunch and a nap after playing on the beach! Grab a cocktail, walk over the dune and catch the fireworks from the Oceanfront....and the dolphin watching is GREAT at this location of the beach. In the colder months, the fireplace has an electric heat insert to keep it cozy.
Come and listen to the waves crash against the shore, smell the salty ocean spray, enjoy the oversized outside deck, and reminisce about the fun you had all day catching waves, body surfing, sunbathing and playing games!

In addition to two bikes , two kayaks, two fishing poles, two beach chairs, and corn hole boards , we stock enough basic necessities that you can arrive knowing you have basic toiletries, coffee, creamer, paper towels(1), toilet paper(1), trash bag, and dish soap to get you settled. - "This was our first official visit to the Virginia Beach area. We’ve been to Williamsburg in the past, but we’ve never really spent any time down by the shore. We’re so glad we chose this Marcus’ property for our stay. Away from the hotel dense areas so the beach is relatively empty. Walking distance to the beach (seriously, unless you’re on the beach you’re not much closer), walking distance to groceries, a restaurant and quality ice cream. You know, the really important stuff. The house provides great amenities as well: beach chairs, wagon, beach towels - all the stuff you can leave home and save space in your vehicle. Beds we’re comfortable, room for a family of four to spread out and a full kitchen so you can save money and not have to eat out. All around a great place for us and any other small family."

Restaurants of almost every description are about a 15 or less minute drive with many offering delivery services. The Virginia Beach resort strip/boardwalk area, also a few minutes away offers entertainment, food, bike rentals, jet ski rentals, parasailing, full night life, and much more.

Our home features 4 bedrooms and lots of living spaces - living room, eat in kitchen, spacious L shaped screened porch, and a ground level backyard deck. Truly a charming beach cottage built in the early 1900's.

Bed Linens, beach and bath towels are not provided. Vacationers are required to furnish them during their stay. We'll send a reference for a rental company at booking

We welcome family and extended family vacation groups to inquire further. We're not the venue for high school or college graduation week celebrations, bachelor or bachelorette parties, etc. Our location is a family friendly neighborhood with mostly owner occupied properties.

In order to accommodate guests with allergies, this is a pet free cottage.

We offer discounts for monthly rentals in the off season - November through May 15. All seasonal rentals are at the full weekly rate and rent from Saturday to Saturday only.

3-bedroom beach cottage with a back deck and outside shower. We have a highchair and pack n play available! Bikes are available to go to beach or choose from several restaurants within walking distance. We also have a full kitchen to cook in and a dining room to sit 6 people comfortably. Beach chairs and umbrellas in back shed for your use along with beach towels in trunk by the couch. You will also find beach towels in the living room table; it opens like a trunk!

**Adventure**

**Your Cottage**
To ensure that you enjoy a restful vacation, there is a private master bedroom with a queen sized bed. This home also has a double loft with two twin beds and a lounging/play couch. Perfect for couples, small groups and families, this home sleeps up to 4 guests. There is also a gas grill, full kitchen (including dishwasher, stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave and basic housewares), and a private bathroom with standard plumbing fixtures (not RV or camper style). Pets are generally welcome and are subject to payment of an additional fee.

**Location**
This tiny home is conveniently located for visiting Sandbridge Beach. Although you could bike or walk to the beach, there is ample free on-street parking near the many public beach access points and this home is located near Little Island Park which provides parking, bathhouses, playground, and a fishing pier for your beach outing. The resort is two blocks from the Atlantic Ocean, and this home is located on the water near the back of the resort to provide you additional privacy and unobstructed 180+ degree bay views.

Please note several important items: 1- This is a tiny home and as such is cozy and less than 400 sq ft total size. The loft area is suitable for smaller individuals only as the emergency exit windows and steep, narrow staircase with low head clearance are not well suited to larger individuals. 2- This tiny home is located in a gated RV resort. The other lots in the resort are privately owned and are occupied by other recreational vehicles of various types. 3- Due to the seasonal nature of rentals and the need to monitor our property when it is unoccupied, we have an exterior doorbell camera and an exterior camera facing the parking area. We have no interior cameras. We respect our guests’ privacy, but took this measure to ensure we can safeguard our property.

The cottage hosts up to five people (with some family exceptions). It features 2 bedrooms, (1 Q bed, 1 triple bunk bed, and 1 futon), and a full bath. There is a large covered deck with seating for 6. A fully equipped kitchen and gas propane grill.

Please no smoking. Resort quiet hours begin at 10 p.m.
