Family Beach Cottage with perennial flower garden, screened porch and small open deck with plenty of seating. Four blocks from ocean, in the middle of the resort boardwalk area, close to restaurants. Within easy walking distance of the 24th St stage, the Neptune statue, the new Dome concert venue and wave pool. It is about 8 walking blocks from the Convention Center and Athletic Center. In the summer, free entertainment along Atlantic Ave in the evenings provided by Beach Events. Two bedrooms, lovely décor. South bedroom holds a beautiful cast-iron canopy QUEEN bed custom-made for the Pink House by Levin's Brass Beds of Virginia. North room holds FULL-size bed with a SINGLE-size roll-away underneath, new mattresses and pillows. Total, the cottage should be able to sleep a family of 5 comfortably, depending on the size and needs of the individuals. Linens are provided and beds made for you for your arrival so you don't have to do anything. *Be aware that full-size bed may not fit larger guests comfortably. The house might only then fit 3. We count on your experience to know your own needs. Main room has a dresser and the second room has shelf, small closet with portable racks for hanging wet clothes and towels. Appliance-equipped kitchen for cooking complete meals (no ice-maker or dish-washer), microwave, crock pot, and 2 types of coffee maker, handy for those traveling with special diet restrictions or busy families. Small backyard, no fence. Dining/living areas, tv, high-speed internet, Netflix and cable, central air, fireplace for off-season. Games, books, and drawing items for use. Grocery store and coin laundry just 1/2 mile away towards the north. Day street parking in front of the house (we provide Guest Pass for nearby overnight public garage parking. Fee only if you lose the pass. Garage is inbetween cottage and the beach within 1/4 mile. The city will not give guest passes to STRs any longer, starting in 2025) Flowers almost all year 'round, changes by the Owner's whim or Mother Nature's mood swings. *CLEANING: Since the Covid-19 shut-down, we have been cleaning and painting at the cottage. Our housekeeper has asthma so we do not make a habit of using harsh chemicals in the house unless absolutely needed. In addition to our normal system of using mild cleansers, we are finishing all guest preparation by wiping down 'touchy' surfaces like handles and light switches with alcohol disinfectant as we walk out the door and lock it behind us. Sheets, towels, and pillowcases will be washed. Blankets and coverlets will be run through a hot dryer, just for sanitation (they don't typically need to be washed after every use). We have removed most of the rugs in the house to make it easier to clean. Chairs were switched out to hard surfaces that are easier to wipe down. Be aware that there is no dishwasher in the house. If you feel uncomfortable using the supplied housewares, please bring paper plates, etc.
We are doing our best to provide you with a safe and comfortable environment during your stay. Please keep us in mind as well, and as much as we would like to host you, please do not come unless you are symptom free. Selma the house-keeper cares for the elderly in her other job. It is very important she stays healthy. We are grateful for your co-operation.

This waterfront RV cottage is the perfect home base whether you are seeking a quiet relaxing escape or something more adventurous. The expansive covered porch on this home with ample patio furniture provides endless opportunities to take in the breathtaking sunsets and abundant wildlife on the Back Bay. There are lounge chairs for relaxing and sunbathing next to the water or you can play a game of cornhole while soaking up the views. If you are feeling adventurous, take a paddle using the two single person kayaks available for exploring the bay or bring your fishing poles and try your luck at landing the catch of the day - your porch is less than 10 steps from the water! You are welcome to use our beach chairs and umbrella for your beach time. In addition, the gated Surfside complex provides two outdoor pools, a sauna, playground, fitness room, tennis/pickleball courts (we provide pickleball racket/balls for your use), basketball court, and boat ramp for you to enjoy during your stay. There are miles of trails in the Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge and False Cape State Park for you to enjoy, you can walk/hike or bike (bring your bicycles or rent them locally). **Your Cottage**
To ensure that you enjoy a restful vacation, there is a private master bedroom with new queen sized Helix Sunset Luxe mattress. This home also has a twin day bed with twin size trundle bed with memory foam mattresses (this provides two twin beds for sleeping), washer, dryer, gas grill, an efficiency kitchen (including dishwasher and other typical appliances and housewares), and a private bathroom with standard plumbing fixtures (not RV or camper style). We provide a Ninja Foodie air fryer oven, convection microwave, and gas cooktop (but no traditional oven). No smoking is allowed. Pets are generally welcome (subject to a pet fee).

**Location**
Although only a 15 mile drive from the bustling Virginia Beach Oceanfront, the Sandbridge Beach community feels like a world away with its low key, uncrowded beaches, serene bay views, and close proximity to miles of undeveloped, protected shoreline for you to explore. There are no hotels in Sandbridge, only private residences.

You can bike or walk to the beach, however there is free on-street parking near the many public beach access points and this home is located near Little Island Park which provides parking, bathhouses, playground, and a fishing pier for your beach outing. The resort is two blocks from the Atlantic Ocean, and this home is located on the water near the back of the resort to provide you additional privacy and unobstructed Back Bay views.

Please be aware that this is a park model RV, so our cottage is best for small groups as it is cozy. Also, we are located in a gated RV resort. The other lots in the resort are privately owned and are occupied by other recreational vehicles.

Due to the seasonal nature of rentals and the need to monitor our property when it is unoccupied, we have an exterior doorbell camera and an exterior camera facing the parking area. We have no interior cameras. We respect our guests’ privacy, but took this measure to ensure we can safeguard our property.

The BLUE HEAVEN BEACH COTTAGE is located on Ocean Front Ave making it easy to take a cup of coffee to watch the early morning sunrise or to run back to the house for lunch and a nap after playing on the beach! Grab a cocktail, walk over the dune and catch the fireworks from the Oceanfront....and the dolphin watching is GREAT at this location of the beach. In the colder months, the fireplace has an electric heat insert to keep it cozy.
Come and listen to the waves crash against the shore, smell the salty ocean spray, enjoy the oversized outside deck, and reminisce about the fun you had all day catching waves, body surfing, sunbathing and playing games!

Our cottage offers one bedroom with a queen size memory foam pillow top mattress, Queen Size sofa bed in living room, and two recliners looking at a ROKU Smart TV with cable and internet available complimented by our blue tooth speaker. Kitchen dining combo as well as a six seater outdoor table. Full size bathtub shower combo within the cottage as well as a bath house and laundry facility just across the lane.

In addition to two bikes , two kayaks, two fishing poles, two beach chairs, and corn hole boards , we stock enough basic necessities that you can arrive knowing you have basic toiletries, coffee, creamer, paper towels(1), toilet paper(1), trash bag, and dish soap to get you settled. - "This was our first official visit to the Virginia Beach area. We’ve been to Williamsburg in the past, but we’ve never really spent any time down by the shore. We’re so glad we chose this Marcus’ property for our stay. Away from the hotel dense areas so the beach is relatively empty. Walking distance to the beach (seriously, unless you’re on the beach you’re not much closer), walking distance to groceries, a restaurant and quality ice cream. You know, the really important stuff. The house provides great amenities as well: beach chairs, wagon, beach towels - all the stuff you can leave home and save space in your vehicle. Beds we’re comfortable, room for a family of four to spread out and a full kitchen so you can save money and not have to eat out. All around a great place for us and any other small family."

Restaurants of almost every description are about a 15 or less minute drive with many offering delivery services. The Virginia Beach resort strip/boardwalk area, also a few minutes away offers entertainment, food, bike rentals, jet ski rentals, parasailing, full night life, and much more.

Our home features 4 bedrooms and lots of living spaces - living room, eat in kitchen, spacious L shaped screened porch, and a ground level backyard deck. Truly a charming beach cottage built in the early 1900's.

Bed Linens, beach and bath towels are not provided. Vacationers are required to furnish them during their stay. We'll send a reference for a rental company at booking

We welcome family and extended family vacation groups to inquire further. We're not the venue for high school or college graduation week celebrations, bachelor or bachelorette parties, etc. Our location is a family friendly neighborhood with mostly owner occupied properties.

In order to accommodate guests with allergies, this is a pet free cottage.

We offer discounts for monthly rentals in the off season - November through May 15. All seasonal rentals are at the full weekly rate and rent from Saturday to Saturday only.

Bikes are available to go to beach or choose from several restaurants within walking distance. We also have a full kitchen to cook in and a dining room to sit 6 people comfortably. **Your Cottage**
To ensure that you enjoy a restful vacation, there is a private master bedroom with a queen sized bed. This home also has a double loft with two twin beds and a lounging/play couch. Perfect for couples, small groups and families, this home sleeps up to 4 guests. There is also a gas grill, full kitchen (including dishwasher, stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave and basic housewares), and a private bathroom with standard plumbing fixtures (not RV or camper style). Pets are generally welcome and are subject to payment of an additional fee.

**Location**
This tiny home is conveniently located for visiting Sandbridge Beach. Although you could bike or walk to the beach, there is ample free on-street parking near the many public beach access points and this home is located near Little Island Park which provides parking, bathhouses, playground, and a fishing pier for your beach outing. The resort is two blocks from the Atlantic Ocean, and this home is located on the water near the back of the resort to provide you additional privacy and unobstructed 180+ degree bay views.

The loft area is suitable for smaller individuals only as the emergency exit windows and steep, narrow staircase with low head clearance are not well suited to larger individuals. 2- This tiny home is located in a gated RV resort. The other lots in the resort are privately owned and are occupied by other recreational vehicles of various types. 3- Due to the seasonal nature of rentals and the need to monitor our property when it is unoccupied, we have an exterior doorbell camera and an exterior camera facing the parking area. We have no interior cameras. We respect our guests’ privacy, but took this measure to ensure we can safeguard our property.

**We go above and beyond: We use a commercial grade, electric fogger for odor removal, sanitation, decontamination and more! The OW- Disinfectant Sprayer 5000 is a handheld electric ultra-low volume cold fogger that can reach a range of 30 feet. Situated in one of Virginia Beach's most charming neighborhoods, this delightful, newly renovated 2,090 square foot North End Cottage is the perfect beach getaway. The home is located just one block to the ocean and a quick bike ride to all the entertainment the Oceanfront has to offer. To say this rental is in one of the most sought-after locations at the beach is an understatement. The North End area of the beach functions at about the same pace throughout the year and remains highly residential with year round homeowners among vacation rentals here and there, whereas the South End of the beach surges with activity in the summer. The wide “feeder road,” as the locals call it, welcomes bike cruisers, stroller runs, and golf cart cruises. However, if you want to step away from the easy beach environment the North End is so popular for, the downtown resort action is just a short trip to the oceanfront near many fine dining and fun restaurants our great resort city offers.

This is a pet free rental. Please note, the owners do have a pup so dogs might come and go as they use their home but overall, we like to keep this house pet-free.

As our guests, you will have full access to the home which includes 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and plenty of living space to gather. The entry to the home has a daybed for casual lounging as well as a game table, lending a functional foyer space that can be used for privacy as needed. The foyer leads to a cozy living room with a functioning gas fireplace for cool winter evenings. Enjoy the bluetooth sterior sound system or cozy up on the couch and enjoy a movie on the large TV over the fireplace.

Just off of the living space and before you reach the fully equipped kitchen, you will enter a spacious dining room with seating for 8. The kitchen is newly renovated and has been stocked by a professional chef. Ample pots and pans for any and all of your cooking needs. There is a standard coffee maker onsite. Coffee lovers will appreciate the bean grinder, frother and drip maker.

The sunroom, to the left of the kitchen, provides casual seating, a television for entertainment as well as a small bar and wine fridge among glorious natural light. The private backyard is fenced-in, making it the perfect spot to use the complimentary gas grill with ease while enjoying some comfortable outdoor seating. There is an outdoor shower to clean off after a full day at the beach. A large driveway to the left of the home provides ample private parking for all guests.

Two bedrooms are located on the first floor, one with a queen bed and the other with two double beds. There is a full sized hallway bathroom downstairs, along with a spacious laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer. The large 2nd floor primary suite features a king bed, a functioning workspace with a desk and a quaint sitting area for reading or relaxing. The ensuite bathroom has been newly updated to include a spacious bathtub, double vanities and a luxurious steam shower.

We provide a starter pack of toilet paper, trash bags and paper towels. Guests are responsible for replenishing their supplies as needed. Each bathroom has a hair dryer. There is an iron and ironing board for your needs, as well.

Some Important Points:

If you have booked a stay longer than 2 weeks, you will be responsible for providing your own bed sheets and bath towels as our linen rental company cannot cover this duration of time. For all short term rentals, we will provide your bed sheets and bath towels.

Beach equipment and bikes are not included but we do offer concierge rentals. These rentals will be delivered to the house and picked up upon departure. We also offer baby equipment rentals if you don't want to haul the crib/pack n play, stroller, etc.

- "Our stay was perfect the location was perfect for us just a short drive to Norfolk and virginia beach but honestly there was no reason to go to the crowded Virginia beach when just across the street we had access to our own private beach with the most amazing sunsets and beautiful nite walks on the shore" - "Great property. Bay side beach very calm for children. Boardwalk is a 12 min drive away. House is right on a busy main road and they do mention this in the listing. Ocean House 919 is a newly renovated and furnished beach cottage steps away from the sand. This three bedroom, three full bathroom cottage provides comfortable sleeping for up to six adults and six kids. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom, generous closet space and provides clean linens and towels. The family room has a sectional couch with enough space to fit everyone as well as a large TV with a fire stick for streaming. Ocean House 919 has a dining table for ten, and two additional counter seats are available in the full kitchen. The kitchen has a double oven, dishwasher, Keurig coffee machine, pantry and provides enough table settings for twelve, to include red / white wine glasses, champagne glasses and beer mugs. This fully stocked kitchen is clean, orderly and fully functional for a large dinner. Outside living is spacious with two bar top tables and a paver patio with outdoor dining for six. Additional outdoor amenities include a shower, hose, charcoal grill and second story balcony. The utility room provides a washer, dryer, 8 beach chairs, 4 boogie boards, corn hole boards, beach toys, a beach cart and an umbrella.

Ocean House 919 is privately managed by local owners, and safely nestled on the oceanside of Atlantic Ave. within walking distance to the Surf Club Grill. There is no need to cross a busy street to walk to the beach and being so close to the water, means easy and quick access back home for those with little kids. adults per bedroom are allowed to stay overnight. Oceanhouse919 may

HOUSE RULE #1: Only 2 adults per bedroom are permitted to stay

- "Perfect trip!" - "This cottage was the perfect set-up for our group of 5 adults and 1 child. There are two bedrooms with full bathrooms downstairs with Queen beds, and an upstairs with two full beds and two twin beds with a full bath. The location was perfect to for the beach. Just a walk up a path, and you are there. We also liked the convenience of having a restaurant just across the service road. There was live music the first night we were there. Lots of fun!"

- "My first impressions were that this was a very nice and clean place. I will break it further down below in a pro/con list: Pros: - Exceptionally clean. Floor, walls, beds, showers, sinks, everything. There were really no areas that weren’t clean. - Lovely, beach-themed mood. There is lots of natural light, the house feels relatively open, and the walls and furniture are all decorated to create a detailed and lively beach-themed atmosphere. You can tell a lot of work was put into decorating everything. - Amenities. The house has basically everything that one would need. Stove, microwave, oven, dishwasher, washer, and dryer. Additionally, they also have laundry detergent, dish detergent, dishwasher detergent, a vacuum, board games, cooking pots/pans, an oven mitt, plates/bowls, cups, and utensils. The only items we needed but didn’t find were a cutting board and paper towels (they had toilet paper, just not paper towels). - There is a hose in front for spraying sand off of your feet. - The HVAC systems for each half of the duplex appear to be separate. Important during pandemic times - Located just across the road from the beach. I think it’s technically the Chesapeake, but nevertheless very lovely. It is a very clean beach with calm waters and much less people than the boardwalk area. Also a great place to go crabbing at night or just swim with the thousands of tiny fish that come out at night. No lifeguards though. - Owner was very friendly in all communications. Cons: - More of something that should just be noted, but in one of the showers turning the knob towards “cold” actually makes it hot and vice versa. Once you realize it, it’s not an issue. - The fridge didn’t seem to work very well our first night. The fridge was barely cold and the freezer was about as cold as a fridge should be. This issue fixed itself somehow overnight and was fine for the rest of our stay. - The air conditioners were kind of hit-or-miss. The one downstairs worked most of the time but for some reason occasionally just didn’t output very cold air. The one in the small room upstairs worked even slightly less frequently, and the one in the large upstairs room almost never gave air that was much colder than the room already was. Although sleeping was still okay due to lower outside temperatures at night, we mostly avoided the upstairs during the day due to the temperature. - Some of the windows have screens but some don’t, leading to bugs if left open."

Salt Heir is ideally located one block from the wide golden beach lining the Atlantic Ocean and one block in the other direction from swampy First Landing State Park which is loaded with tree lined hiking trails swinging with Spanish moss and a popular hidden local favorite beach at the Narrows where boats often gather which makes for a very festive atmosphere during warmer weather. Our very rare c.1930’s vacation home was lovingly restored retaining as many of the original charming details as we could possibly salvage while adding luxurious modern touches like warm marble mosaic floors in the bathrooms and laundry room and a deeply carved imported marble fireplace with a remote controlled gas log and a palace sized wool rug under our custom leather couch and club chair that adds to the overall high end designer feel of the space. Every room has at least one fabulous antique, a tradition handed down in our family. An impressive chef’s kitchen featuring brands including Viking, Meile & Big Chill & Breville will inspire you to get busy in the kitchen and make some wonderful dining memories in our sunny dining room space overlooking the front garden. We stock ground coffee, fresh half & half, basic spices, chefs knives, tools as well as a collection of All Clad cookware and SMEG coffeemaker. A Kitchenette hand mixer and Breville counter mixer & toaster oven are also included among your arsenal of kitchen tools to assist with food & drink preparation. We also have a selection of fresh seasonal herbs growing in pots surrounding our outdoor grill located on a paved patio just off of the lower back deck. We recently restored our cottage for family to enjoy for short summer vacations but now are permitted by the City and very pleased to be opening up our cottage doors for guests to book and enjoy as if it were their own family cottage. Our chef’s kitchen invites you to experiment with local ingredients perhaps found at the Old Beach farmers market just a few miles away open each Saturday until noon. Ample dining and living space allows room for up to 6 adults to relax. All bedrooms feature brand new extremly high end mattresses and large LG Oled TV’s tucked into designer wall cabinets with cloding doors for those who wish to take a vacation from media while staying at Salt Heir. The sunny dedicated work space featuring a heavily carved wood antique desk and comfortable adjustable executive desk chair and dining space overlook the large front flower garden are bright and welcoming. The dining room features a fabulous antique dining table from the early 1800’s and is complimented by brand new reproduction style chairs that coordinate with the era the table was created in. In the summertime the outdoor seating area overlooking the garden is an ideal space to watch the parade of people & pets traveling to and from First Landing State Park. There is a second more private outdoor living space located on the back deck featuring a covered seating area and grilling space surrounded by freshly potted herbs overlooking gardens. Our cottage offers ample off street parking for up to 3-5 cars. For guests of guests, street parking is free and on a first come first served basis with no special passes ever needed. A newer 4 seat street legal blue golf cart is also available for reservation for an additional fee of $100 a day with a 3 day minimum. The Salt Heir embodies everything when one thinks about a beach cottage - however at a luxury level. We had our family of five (six for one night) staying there for our annual family reunion. We have family that live in Va Beach in the surrounding area - 52nd Street; Prince Anne etc... so this was the perfect location. Dana was very responsive in her communication which in my experience is so important. The cottage itself was very comfortable and the gardens were amazing! It was extremely hot while we were there so we were only able to enjoy the gardens one evening for an extended period of time. But if you are able to be outside there - do it! As described in her description - everything from furniture, linens to appliances are high end. I did a fair amount of cooking there and had fun with the Viking oven. If you can't find something; have a question or need something - just shoot Dana a message and she'll respond promptly. Thank you so much for hosting us and allowing us to enjoy the Salt Heir! Mallory is our Studio 1 bedroom cottage located in Virginia Beach, 3 minute walk from the boardwalk and sand. This home offers one bedroom, one full bath and sleeps 4 Max. As you enter you will notice the vaulted ceilings in the living room that has a pullout sofa bed. The bedroom has one queen bed and the bathroom features a tiled walk-in shower. The kitchen has stainless appliances, granite countertop and tiled backsplash. Other bonuses include free wireless internet and TVs in each room.

Located on Arctic Ave in the Virginia Beach Oceanfront District we are a three-minute walk to the beach, grocery stores, restaurants, entertainment and much more.

- "Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of these rental properties is excellent: only two blocks from beach access and the boardwalk. However, I think this property (Mallory) would be better suited for a couple or group without kids. We have two kids, ages 2 and <1. The rental did have a pull-out couch, but we opted to use a travel bed and a pack-n-play instead. First of all, the pull-out couch could not be pulled out without moving the chair in the living space into the middle of the floor in front of the door. Not a big deal, but inconvenient. The biggest problem we had was that there are no doors in the unit except for the toilet closet. So nothing separating the living/kitchen from the bedroom, and nothing separating the bedroom from the bathroom. Additionally, there was no shower curtain, so anyone taking a shower was open to the rest of the bathroom and the bedroom (and the window). This was a problem for us and, I assume, might be for others staying here as has been previously mentioned in other reviews. Finally, because of the lack of a shower curtain, water consistently splashed out onto the bathroom floor. There was a bath mat, but by the end of our stay, it was soaked and did not dry in-between days. One last comment, the unit does share a wall in the kitchen with the neighboring unit. This was not a problem for us, but with screaming and crying kids, I hope it was not a problem for the neighbors. Overall, for the price, the unit was clean, the owners were prompt in responding, and the location was excellent, but we may check out a different unit in the future."

During the summer season, BEEHIVE BY THE BEACH only accepts bookings with Saturday check-in and Saturday check-out dates. This policy ensures a smooth turnover process and maintains consistency for all our valued guests.

Please be aware that instantly booked reservations that do not adhere to our Saturday-to-Saturday policy may be subject to cancellation or modification. To avoid any inconvenience, we strongly recommend reviewing our booking requirements or contacting the listing owner before making a reservation.

## Booking Modifications

In the event of a non-compliant booking, we reserve the right to:

1. Cancel the reservation and provide a full refund, or
2. Modify the booking dates to align with our Saturday-to-Saturday policy, subject to availability and guest approval.

No one’s fault as we can’t control weather but worth noting for future stays."

The Beach Nest is a pristinely clean cottage located just a half-mile walk from the oceanfront and boardwalk. The cottage is well-outfitted with beach chairs, beach cruisers, beach towels, a beach cart, and a sand umbrella. A quaint retreat ideal for two.

The Beach Nest is NOT a party house. SMOKING IS PROHIBITED. PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED as we often host guests with allergies.

The space
Built in 1952, The Beach Nest was renovated in 2022 with new roof, Hardie plank siding, fully remodeled kitchen with new cabinets, quartz countertops, and Whirlpool appliances (refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, electric range/stove). This little beach bungalow has a private bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a small closet. A separate family room has two sofas. The only TV is located in the family room; it’s a 40" Smart TV with active Roku, Amazon, and Fubo TV subscriptions. You may also use your personal account logins to access Disney, Netflix, HBO Max, and many other apps. The separate dining area has a bistro table that can be used as a workspace, and the full kitchen is stocked with glassware, plates, bowls, baking sheets, pots and pans, blender, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, electric handheld mixer, etc. The full bathroom has a combined tub/shower.

The space is light, bright, and immaculate. We hope you enjoy the little touches that make this home a welcoming and comfortable retreat.

A pack-n-play and high chair are available for use. Please indicate your need when booking.

Guest access
Guests have access to The Beach Nest via a private front entrance. In addition, guests have access to the front yard, a back patio directly behind The Beach Nest, and one driveway parking space. If additional parking is needed, please discuss this with us in advance. We may be able to accommodate special requests using our personal driveway.

The fenced yard on the south side of The Beach Nest is the backyard of our private residence. We do not share this space with guests. Thank you for understanding!

Other things to note
The City of Virginia Beach mandates a local Transient Occupancy Tax. This lodging tax amount is equal to $2 for each night of lodging plus 8% of the total amount paid for lodging. In addition, the state of Virginia mandates a 6% sales tax on the total amount paid for lodging.
