This beautifully remodeled apartment above our garage offers peaceful, wooded views from every side making it a great place for resting, working, or wildlife watching. The Hideaway’s bright, open, studio-style space has everything you’ll need for a one-night retreat or a week-long escape. The upscale amenities include a brand new mini-kitchen stocked with the necessities, butcher block bar overlooking the wooded back lot, an office nook with a desk overlooking the front, a new, modern bathroom, and a 46” TV on adjustable arm for easy viewing or game-playing. The suite is comfortably furnished with a queen-size bed and a queen pull-out couch making it perfect for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, health care, and military persons but it can accommodate up to 4 when needed. The front door features an electronic keypad for self-check-in and easy entrance. Outside, you’ll enjoy a shared patio with comfy chairs and fire pit, a bbq grill, and a patio heater. The backyard offers a fire ring and plenty of firewood. There is ample parking for cars, a boat, and water toys.

The kitchen has a refrigerator, stovetop, toaster oven, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, electric tea kettle and is stocked with dishes and basic cooking utensils. Sleeping arrangements include two (2) bedrooms: a large master bedroom with a king bed with a smart TV mounted and two closets. The second bedroom is small and has a double bed. Both rooms can accommodate the rollaway folding single cot and/or a full sized air mattress.

The unit has one large bathroom with a washer dryer area.

A small private vestibule fronts the two entrance to the rental and features a retro arcade game (Ms. Pac-Man & Galaga).

Come and feel at home in this comfy and quiet unit that is nestled beside a peaceful pond where you’ll enjoy beautiful sunsets every evening! With a spacious open living area you can kick back and watch your favorite movies or shows on the 80 inch smart tv. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal or you may enjoy trying out the restaurants nearby. We are a short drive away from the pristine beaches of Topsail Island, halfway between Wilmington and Jacksonville.

The space
This home sits on an acre of land and backs up to a pond. The pond is privately owned so no fishing - but enjoy the view! We have 2 bedrooms with queen beds in each. (one bed is adjustable). There is a washer and dryer in the unit. An outside patio overlooks the pond. The living room is cozy but spacious with a reclining sofa and reclining loveseat. There is an 80 inch smart tv connected to Directv. The dining area comfortably seats 6. And we have WiFi! Linens are provided- the only thing you’ll need is beach towels if you plan on going there. We do not supply beach towels.

There is also a Pack n Play for the youngest guests. Experience Hampstead at our fabulous condo, only a 20-minute drive to the famous Topsail Island Beach. The whole family can enjoy this great place with plenty of room for fun and making memories.

The space
Ocean Life Paradise is a condominium featuring a fully equipped kitchen with a full-size dishwasher, stove/oven, and refrigerator. The dining area includes a dinette set for six and additional seating for four at the countertop peninsula. The living room has a queen-size sofa bed, with linens available in the front closet. Amenities include Wi-Fi, a 50' TV, a 22-foot ceiling with skylights and additional seating in the enclosed back porch seats up to six.
One of the two bedrooms offers a 3-tier bunk bed, accommodating up to three-four guests with two twin beds and a full-size bed, along with a treasure chest of children's toys for entertainment. Guests are encouraged to create art for display on the wall. The main bathroom is spacious, featuring a stand-up shower with dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, and body gel. Hairdryer and a full set of towels per guest are provided. A full-size washer and dryer are also located in the hallway, with washing machine pods and dryer sheets provided.
The primary bedroom includes a queen-size bed, multiple outlets, USB ports, a traditional alarm clock, and a spacious bathroom. It has a full-size closet equipped with a pack and play, an iron, an ironing board, and a hand steamer, plus a private toilet closet with a shower over the tub. This main bedroom features a sliding glass door that leads to the enclosed back porch.
In the main room, there is a green notebook/journal in the shell basket. Please take a few moments before leaving and drop us a note about your stay. We kindly ask that as our guest(s) please respect our furnishings just as you would your own at your home.

•DO NOT remove anything from the rental at any time except that which is provided for you to use during your stay. Swim/beach towels, beach bag, beach toys & outdoor blankets are permitted for your use outside of the rental. It is expected these items remain with the unit upon your departure.
•NO pets unless previously discussed and approved. If accommodation is required for seeing-eye dogs or therapy animals, please note that additional paperwork may be required beyond that for dogs.
HOUSE RULES:
•Please utilize the bar, the dinette set, the back porch dining area, or the front porch patio set for eating. PLEASE DO NOT eat in any of the bedrooms or while sitting on the sofas. Being a coastal community, cockroaches and termites are extremely common. We diligently try to keep the property free of such pests. Please also do your part as our guest(s).
