It was pretty dirty and stained- felt more like a college dorm as far as furniture goes. I also thought the bedding was not very clean. I don't think the blankets or pillows had been washed in awhile, and the sheets were old and worn with pilling. I'm not picky at all with places as long as they are clean, and I had a hard time relaxing on the couch, or the bed. The kitchen was pretty basic, and didn't have all of the utensils or dishes we needed for 3 people, but we managed. The courtyard was nice, and unique. The neighborhood around it was fun to walk around in, and it was close to public transportation. The hosts at the front desk were great- they were very helpful and accommodating, as well as the housekeeping staff. Again, the location is great- especially if you want to be right in the middle of the action at the market and the neighborhood. I would stay here again."

THE NEIGHBORHOOD.
David's village is a private residence located a few steps away from the Mamilla mall and Jaffa Gate to the Old City. The residence itself is very quiet as all the cars are underground. The city center is about 1km away (Zion Square).

GETTING AROUND.
The entrance to the Old City is a few minutes away from the residence. The city center is within walking distance, however it is also possible to use the tramway (the nearest station is 800m away at the City Hall) which will take you to the main attractions such as Mahane Yehuda market.
If you plan on using the tram, you'll need to purchase a RavKav card (available at the airport or in the train stations) and load some money on it using the RavKav app on your phone. You can also use it in the bus and the train to Tel Aviv or other destinations.
Renting a car is a good options since you have a secure parking space in the residence. Please note that parking in Jerusalem can be tricky and expensive.
Lastly we recommend using the app Gett to order taxis when needed.

I could stay in the studio is perfect for 3 adults, specially if you are staying in Jerusalem to sleep. If you are coming with kids, is good if you are 2 adults and 1 children. We were 3 adults and for us the place was perfect. They have a double bed and sofa bed. The check-in was super easy instructions, and the information is clear. We were glad that we have choice this place because it is very well connected to all the important places in Jerusalem (old city). They were also helpful to leave our luggage in the luggage room nearest to the accomodation. The only improvement is to wash the curtains or change it for another one due they are bit old. Also, change the vacuum is not working well. To conclude, if I am coming back again to Jerusalem. I will definitely come back again to Jacobs Suites. "

The apartment is fully furnished, including washing machine and dryer, dishwasher, fully equipped kosher kitchen and A/C in every room. Right next to San Simon park.

In my apartment, you will need to keep kosher if you'd like to use the kitchen!
