There is no public transport on KI... in order to get around and see as much as you can... you will require transport..... the island is bigger than expected.
You can bring a vehicle over on the ferry. Alternatively you can rent a vehicle when you get off the ferry.
Sealink offer a bus from Adelaide to the ferry at Cape Jervis.
And Qantas offer quick flights from Adelaide Airport.

LONG STAY HOUSEKEEPING: For long-stay bookings, please enquire regarding servicing arrangements will usually require periodic access every 7-10 days for housekeeping + maintenance etc.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: Sometimes holidays don't go as planned, and something may arise which prevents travel or impacts your stay, such as illness, missed or cancelled transport or weather events. As such, Travel Insurance is highly recommended. There isn't an automatic refund if you can't get your flight/ferry etc. or forget to book transport.
CHILDREN & INFANTS: This is a 'grown-up' space and sorry, we can not welcome families or babies/children at this listing. We have set up the space for Max 2 adults only. No patio bolt on balcony, long run of stairs & no stair gates, no cot, no high chair, breakable items/floor lamp at kiddy-height, no kids-cutlery, light beige colored carpet throughout (even the dining area), and we are mindful of noise transfer from kiddies to the unit below. Ask us about our other options which welcome families!
VERY LONG STAY BOOKING FEES: Very long-stay bookings over 28 days typically incur a fee for regular housekeeping / linen change (please enquire for your individual pricing). We do not facilitate non-serviced long stay bookings as we need to maintain the property with regular cleaning and maintenance.

AIR CONDITIONING: 1 x reverse cycle unit located in living/dining room. Bedroom has thick curtains to assist with heatload reduction & portable fan for comfort. On very hot days you may like to leave the a/c running with door to your bedroom open when you're 'out and about' so that the whole apartment is air conditioned.

THE LOCATION: Take a casual stroll to shops, cafes, the jetty, beach (just across the road), breakfast @ Cactus Cafe or So Sando, with tour pick ups & the ferry shuttle bus just around the corner. Enjoy a few drinks with dinner & no worries about driving-just enjoy the very short walk back to your apartment! There are beautiful walking trails which wind around the coast to enjoy, almost always seals & pelicans near the jetty & often dolphins in the bay.
STAIRS: Half-flight of stairs outside to the foyer, & then a flight of stairs to your apartment. If you can not use stairs, this property will certainly not be suitable sorry.
EXTERNAL FOYER (ie outside your apartment & you can clearly see the camera) has a security camera which monitors access to both the Upper and Lower level apartments.
THE LIVING SPACE: Open plan kitchen, dining and living room, complete with 55" Smart Samsung Frame TV. Private balcony overlooking the ocean, fully equipped including a good quality Nespresso coffee machine & dishwasher, Reverse Cycle a/c.
GUEST NUMBERS: Base rate includes up to max 2 adults only (13yrs+). Sorry, we cant facilitate ANY extra guests, visitors, infants or children with this particular listing, but please enquire as we have other properties that warmly welcome families.
BEDROOM: Large bedroom with King Size Bed, additional Smart TV, block out blinds PLUS electric roller shutter (for the ultimate holiday sleep-in!), second individually controlled a/c for your absolute comfort!
LAUNDRY: In-apartment private laundry facilities - washer, dryer, iron, washing powder supplied. The other 1-Bedroom upper level apartments in this group with a similar floorplan don't have in-apartment laundry facilities (we did a little reno to add it in) -so this is a convenient bonus!
LINENS: All professionally laundered (& ironed) white linens are provided, including Beach Towels, bath towels, tea towels, bedding etc. Sorry, but staining from Fake Tan will incur a replacement fee as linen needs to be discarded & is one of the few stains we can't remove with bleach.
CONSUMABLES: Basic starter consumables are provided for your convenience (toilet paper, paper towel, dishwasher tablets, soaps, food wraps, pepper+salt, coffee pods & instant+tea etc.).
CHECK IN / OUT TIMES: Standard check in from 3pm (but often ready earlier as we usually service this apartment first), check out by 10am. Tariff is based on 10am check out, so please feel free to book an extra night if you would like the convenience a late or relaxed check out time (subject to availability), but kindly note that un-booked late check outs can not be facilitated & fees will apply.
