- "The rental was very clean and spacious. There are a couple of rollaway beds and a sofa bed for extra sleeping space if needed. We were surprised that the house was divided into upstairs and a downstairs apartments, but that wasn’t a problem for us, parking was a little tight also. We did have an F250 that BARELY fit between the house and fence (good thing my husband is a decent big truck driver) but it worked out. My only complaint is that the upper bathroom tub is unlevel and it was awkward to shower. The water pressure is not swell, but it’s good enough for such an old home. There is a great walking path right behind the house which was nice for our dog, he loved it. The little town square was very easy to access and quick to walk to. Very nice neighborhood (be warned: the fire station is very close so you’ll hear them quite a bit) again, not a deal breaker for us. I would stay again- and might since we’re headed that way for another Navy graduation in January. We were very pleased. "

- "We were attending a family funeral in Lake Forest and needed a clean, comfortable home to house 7 adults and a dog for four days. This house met all our requirements. While an older home it was very clean, comfortable bedding, and ample room for us all to congregate in the evening. The house is walkable to the main street of Libertyville with good restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. Also, very near to walking trails around Butler Lake and surrounding neighborhood. Had an issue with the shower messaged host at 9pm got a quick response and they were there to fix it at 9am. Would stay again" - "We were staying to visit our son graduating from boot camp. When it comes to sleeping... ALL of our mattresses are memory foam. We have a three (3) King beds a Queen Sleeper Sofa and rollaway single cot bed.

- "The location is perfect for walking to all the shops and restaurants in the downtown area. The neighborhood is very safe and friendly. Property would be a bit challenging for someone with mobility issues. Stairs are quite steep. The bathroom could use a few shelves for amenities. Overall my wife and I enjoyed our stay in our comfy little apartment."
