The extensive, park-like garden (1400 m2) is available to our guests. In addition to a beautiful mooring and plenty of seating throughout the garden there is also a barbecue area and a campfire area (wood, lighters and charcoal are provided).

The wilderness garden is also a paradise for children:
Bolzplatz, knights castle, swing, slide and sandpit with many toys.

Our house is located directly at the national park Bayer. Forest (about 300 m to the enclosure zone), on the outskirts of Ludwigsthal in Zwiesel, 11 km to the Great Arber (Ski World Cup). Excellent transport links by train and bus. A paradise for hikers, cyclists and skiers! Storage for skis and ski boots, stroller etc.

Wilderness residence at the National Park:
Our goal is that you feel comfortable with us! The bike path from the Czech Republic (9 km from us to the border) after rain leads directly past our house. Only about 250 meters from our house, is a "real" grass football field, which can also be used. This place is located directly on the river Regen with beautiful natural swimming.

To eat and drink:
In our village (about 350 inhabitants) there are a total of 3 restaurants: One is in the house to the wilderness (about 15 minutes walk) and is only open during the day. A second inn is the Gasthaus Ludwigsthal (about 300m away). The other inn is just opposite our house (about 30m, Gasthaus zum Wurzlsepp). In the village Schleicher (1km away) is a very good place for local delicacies (trout, pork knuckle, bread, etc.). There are also at Zwiesel (5km) at least 5 pizzerias, even more Bavarian pubs as well as a Greek and a Chinese.

Apartment 2 in the attic overlooking the garden

The space
The attic apartment is in the attic and is ideally suited for up to 4 people. In the living-bedroom there are 1 double bed (2 x 2 m) and 1 cozy sitting area. In the second bedroom there are 2 single beds and a sink. The separate kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, oven, microwave oven, coffee maker, kettle and a dining area. The bathroom with shower and toilet completes the overall look.  



Our house is located off the main road in a quiet location. A large garden with pond, parking, lawn, playground and barbecue facilities are at your disposal. Hiking trails and winter sports are nearby. Falkenstein National Park Center with Wilderness House is in the immediate vicinity. You can also find a bakery and a butcher right in the village. The nearest shop is about 3 km away in Zwiesel.

The space
Apartment: size approx. 60 m2, sleeping accommodation for 4 persons, 2 showers and 2 toilets, large covered balcony. Living area: living room with sofa bed, flat screen satellite TV, radio, games, books. Bedroom: double closet bed, access to the balcony. Kitchen: coffee machine, fridge with small freezer, toaster, microwave with oven, kettle, egg cooker. Bathroom 1: shower, toilet, sink, sink, hair dryer Bathroom 2: shower, toilet, sink. Between Arber and Rachel, overlooking the national park, is our apartment. It is located on the 1st floor of the historic glass grinding plant in Spiegelhütte near Lindberg. It is framed by the Vorderscheuereckbach and a sunbathing lawn. A small playground is close by. Bus stop is located about 100 meters away. 
On the large covered balcony you can enjoy the quiet location, listen to the bouncer of the creek or relax with the birds chirping. At night it is wonderful to watch the starry sky.
You can start the day from Monday to Saturday with fresh baked goods delivered to you in the house.

Our apartment "Mediterranean" was again awarded 5 stars by the German Tourism Association (DTV) in December 2022.
The exclusively equipped apartment "Mediterranean" (86 sqm) is located on the first floor. Furnishings and warm colors are harmoniously matched. Rounded off by matching decoration, a Mediterranean flair is created here.
The apartment was fully renovated in 2019, newly decorated and furnished only with solid furnishings in the Mediterranean style.

All rooms of both vacation apartments are equipped with high-quality tiles as well as floor heating. The temperature can be adapted to personal needs for any room.

In our courtyard area, right next to our garages, there is a separate parking space available for each apartment.

The spacious, park-like garden (1400 m2) is available to our guests. In addition to a beautiful berth and many seating areas throughout the garden, there is also a barbecue area and a campfire place (wood, lighters and charcoal are provided).

The wilderness garden is also a paradise for children:
Bolzplatz, Ritterburg, swing, slide and sandbox with many toys.

Our house is directly on the Bayer National Park. Forest (about 300 m to the enclosed zone), on the outskirts of Ludwigsthal bei Zwiesel, 11 km to the Great Arber (Ski World Cup track). Excellent transport links with bus and bus. It is a paradise for hikers, cyclists and skiers! Storage for skis and ski boots, pram, etc.

Right at the 'new' Bayer National Park. Forest (about 300 m to the enclosed zone), on the outskirts of Ludwigsthal bei Zwiesel, 11 km to the Great Arber (Ski World Cup track). Excellent transport links with bus and bus. It is a paradise for hikers, cyclists and skiers! Storage room for skies and ski boots..

Wilderness residence at the national park: Our goal is for you feel comfortable with us! The bike path from the Czech Republic to rain leads directly past our house. Only about 250m from our house, is a "real" lawn football field that can also be used. This square is located directly in the river rain with beautiful natural swimming spots.

Food and drinks: In our place (about 350 inhabitants) there are a total of 3 restaurants: one is located in the 'house to the wilderness'(about 15min walk) and is only open during the day. A second inn is the 'Gasthaus Ludwigsthal' (about 300 m away). The other inn is exactly opposite our house (about 30 m; 'Gasthaus zum Wurzlsepp'). In the village of Schleicher (1km away) is a very good place for local 'Schmankerl' (trout, pork chick, bread time plates, etc.). In addition, Zwiesel (5km) has at least 5 pizzerias, even more Bavarian restaurants as well as a Greek and a Chinese.

Shops can be found in Zwiesel (5 km): there are all the larger discount stores and supermarkets. However, we are happy to offer you a free bread service (daily except Sundays and holidays).
