This furnished home in Los Gatos is situated in a medium-sized, affluent town. It sits at the base of the Santa Cruz Mountains, so reaching the beaches in Santa Cruz, is a short 25-minute drive away. The delightful downtown has lots of great coffee shops, breakfast joints and boutique shops. Two outdoor highlights of this city are the Los Gatos Creek Trail and the Vasona Lake County Park. The trail is 9.5 miles long and many cyclists, runners and skaters make use of the trail each day. Vasona Park offers paddle boats, picnic areas and lots of lawn space for relaxing.

This Blueground apartment has flexible lease options, allowing you to book it for one month, a year, or more.
Pets are welcome, though weight limits and breed restrictions apply and may incur fees.
Parking is offered based on availability and is subject to a fee.
Please keep in mind that this is a walk up building.
We take great pride in ensuring every photo displayed is shot in our own units with our actual furnishings. That said, we regularly refresh our decor and furniture arrangement, which may differ from what’s pictured.

A security deposit of $500 is required at booking, which will be returned within 2-4 weeks after the check-out, minus any deductible damages.

One full bathroom with standing shower. For all of our guests, we provide spa-grade towels. Kitchen-net stocked with all the essentials, medium sized fridge, microwave, oven, coffee maker, electric kettle and portable Induction cooktop. Kitchen includes dining table with ample seating for 2.

The cottage is walking distance to Vasona Lake Park with activities for runners, bicyclists, hikers, and skaters. A short hike takes you to Vasona Lake Park where you, or your family can ride the Billy Jones Wildcat rail road, paddle boats and sailing on the lake or enjoy an outdoor Carousel. A few minutes away is Saint Josephs Hill trail for mountain biking, jogging and hiking.
The cottage is a five minute walk from the trailhead for the beloved Los Gatos Creek Trail for hiking and biking. Nestled at the foot of the Santa Cruz Mountains and a perfect gateway to all of Silicon Valley. The Town of Los Gatos is a wildly popular destination for everything from museums, the arts, nightlife with dancing and fine dining, to outdoor activities. The summer months feature two famous free concert series - Wednesday night Jazz on the Plazz and Sunday afternoon Los Gatos Music in the Park. Both are within walking distance from the cottage.
Convenient location near Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Peets Coffee, Starbucks, Panera Bread, and Shopping Centers.

- I will not host dogs that or larger then 25lbs
- I will only host dog breeds that do NOT shed normally

- Dogs will need to remain OFF the bed, couch and other furniture at all times
- If your leaving your dog in the cottage alone for long amounts of time it will need to be kept in a crate.
- Depending on the breed of dog I may require an additional non-refundable pet deposit of $200.00 at move in.

- "My husband and I stayed for a month to support the birth of our granddaughter locally. We loved the privacy of the cottage, the comfortable king size bed and all the amenities it had to offer. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful to take walks. The kitchen is small as pictured. You could cook, but we limited our cooking to breakfast and had dinners at our daughters home. A lot of rentals in this price bracket only have a coffee maker and hot plate. Chris was quick to respond and very accomodating. We would definitely stay here again."

- "We were renting the cottage for 5 weeks as we needed a place to stay until we find a suitable long term rental in the Bay Area. Los Gatos cottages is the perfect temporary place for a couple. The cottage is in a nice snd calm area, near to town. It is well equipped with everything you need. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is clean. Laundry machine is on site too. Chris the owner is absolutely welcoming and helpful. Thank you for having us, we can only recommend this place!"

This sun-soaked suite is has a private entrance and private access to a beautiful garden patio complete with night-time ambiance, a fireplace, and patio furniture. The large bay window provides a view into the rustic fruit, flower, and vegetable garden right outside. The suite is tucked away from the busiest parts of the city, perfect for a hub in the middle of some of the best attractions NorCal has to offer: SF, Carmel, Pebble Beach, Monterey, Santa Cruz, and more. The comfy bed and beautiful old-town neighborhood add to the warm, homey feel.

While the space is listed as a guest suite, we want our guests to know that they are sharing our home. The lower level of our house is separated from the rest of the house by blackout curtains and is allocated for guest use only. It includes a private entrance, and the guest is the only person who will be using or entering the space.

- "This is a lovely place to stay, with new furniture and lots of helpful notes with directions on where to find things. The towels are soft and fluffy. The bed in the master bedroom is comfortable. There's an iron and ironing board as well as a hair dryer. The restaurants and shops of Los Gatos are an easy 30 minute walk away through beautiful neighborhoods if you want to leave your car behind. My only complaint is that the listing says there's a kitchenette, but what that means is that there's a fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker. You will need to do the dishes in the bathroom sink. There is no hot plate or way to cook."

We are in the rural mountains and woods so overall it is pretty rustic!
This can be the perfect getaway, especially for those who enjoy the nature, serenity, simplicity, sparkling creativity, contemplating spirituality, but not much for the materialistic luxury.

We have a main trail on our 45 acre. The head of the main trail is right by the red Main House, just follow the paved the road down and it will become dirt road at campsite12. It's about 45min to 1hr hike down to the end where the Amaya creek serves the boundary to the neighbor's property. On the main trail there is also a small waterfall, but it is not visible from the trail, you have to go off the trail on the left side to find it. I put pink ribbon on the tree there, but at other spots too so may not be the best sign.
Enjoy hiking, creeks and small water fall exploration, mountain biking, wildlife viewing (deer, turkey, owl etc), star gazing, relaxation, meditation and more.
There is a private campground down with 10 min hike. don't drive down.

- "Absolutely beautiful spot. This property is every bit as nice as it looks in the pictures. It is set among magnificent large trees and in a quiet estate above Los Gatos. Diane is a wonderful host who lives on the property. The view from the property is partially due to the fact that it is on the top of another building which means you have to access it by a staircase. But that staircase is well lit and easy to navigate. It leads to a delightful deck that looks out to the trees. Everything about the place is thoughtfully done and we will come back again soon. The only negative for us was that it is not easy to walk into town. The road down the hill is narrow and the cars drive fast. But we found that Uber and Lyft made it easy to overcome that problem."

This private guest studio is located on the below the main house with a separate entrance. This guest suite also has a separate kitchen with a Bosh oven/stove top, fridge, sink and counter. It also has a separate full bathroom with a walk-in shower.
This space has maximum privacy yet proximity to the main living area through separate staircase. Not to mention the spectacular city views of the entire Silicon Valley. Beautiful Spanish tile flooring, custom arched front door provide sophistication and distinction.

- "I can’t say this was inaccurate to the description (because there was no picture of the bed...) but certain things you just take for granted, like a nice comfortable, clean bed. The bed was a chaise lounge with a sheet set that was not clear if it was recently used or if it just didn’t fit the “mattress”. The “bed” was right next to a window that had a leak and it was cold and wet. This particular night was high winds and a LOT of rain, and Th e small cadet heater and portable heater were insufficient to keep up with the amount of heat loss from the window and door leaks... very drafty. I’m sure that this area was not used to having this sort of weather but the property should have been more prepared for sudden conditions and supply extra blankets and also matches and kindling to start a fire. There was dry looking firewood loaded in the fireplace but I had no kindling or way to start it. I slept in the sofa in front of the portable heater. Very uncomfortable unfortunately. The view was amazing as was the decor of the bathroom and I did appreciate the home grown oranges!! I leave this review with the hope that the owner will make adjustments as this is really a lovely place and area."

Step into a very private cozy space that you can call your own. You have your own private entrance as well as a great outdoor space to relax in that is shared. Parking is great and the street is very quiet. The unit is off the street and looks west toward the sunset. With a small kitchenette, you can prep a small meal or enjoy your Door Dash from the local great food. With a hammock and small space to enjoy outdoor you can see that the owner has a green thumb.
Our space is cozy yet private. A great space for 1-2 guests that has the comforts you need to make your stay an excellent one. Private entrance, small kitchenette, private bathroom, and skylights all delight our space. 20+ years ago it was a ceramics artist quarters that the floors still reflect till this day. Unleash your inner creative side in our space.
