Our 1928 carriage house apartment is situated in historic Beach Hill. It has been recently renovated, yet much of the original charm has been maintained. It is a perfect spot for families or small groups - close to many tourist spots yet located in a residential neighborhood.
Cowell's Beach (boogie boarding and surfing), Steamer's Lane (advanced surfing), Monterey Exploration Center, Boardwalk, wharf, Warriors basketball stadium, downtown, and West Cliff Drive (bike/walking path along the ocean) are all a quick 5 minute walk from our house.

Our place is a unique style duplex with this 1 bedroom ( 633 sq ft) unit located at street level while the other unit sits above and is a 3 bedroom. Both with separate entrance. If there are guest staying above you will hear foot steps and water. We ask those guests to be minful of footfall. The apartment has an open floor plan with newly remodeled kitchen which opens up to the living room area. It is very comfortable for 2 guests, or a family of 4. To accomodate extra guests, there is a folding bed with memory foam pad and/or 18" queen size auto inflate air mattress. New bathroom and tub with grab bars installed. The bedroom has a king size bed, sits at the opposite end of the space, near but not connected to the bathroom. Our beach place has been in our family for over 50 years and although we have always found it cozy, a recent remodel adds extra light and comfort, very enjoyable. We love that you can hear the roar of the Big Dipper Roller Coaster, the shouts from the riders, barking sea lions and the occasional crashing of the surf. Also walk to the Beach and Boardwalk and to our favorite restaurants.

Perfect location , within walking to distance to everything: shop’s restaurants, the beach etc ( 2 restaurants right across the street) neighborhood is very quiet at night.. but there is quite a bit of traffic during the day. The rental includes one covered parking space at the unit. There is a public parking lot 2 blocks down the road that has 12 hour paid parking and free overnight parking ( our adult kids brought their own car) parking on the street can be challenging as only a 3 hour limit. The spiral staircase to the upstairs loft is beautiful but could be challenging for older folks. There is a queen pull out couch on the first level that is very comfortable. ( we let the young adults traverse the spiral staircase to the queen bed in the loft) Overall, we had a fabulous long weekend!"

- "This place is very nice, but there are some aspects that I wish would have been mentioned in the posting. The driveway to enter the property is very steep. I feel like it ended up adding a lot of extra wear and tear on my vehicle that I didn’t really plan for. Also the other side of the driveway is pretty steep also so if you don’t have good knees, you might have some problem with the incline of this entire property. Also in the middle of summer, it gets kind of warm even with all the windows open and the fan going we were averaging 80°. it is also pretty loud staying at this property considering you want to keep all windows open so it doesn’t get stuffy. The vehicles on all sides are driving by at all hours of the night. Loud trucks and motorcycles at all hours. Aside from these two aspects, the property was just as described, very clean and pretty comfortable. Central location to the beach and shops which is what made it so appealing."

We have great restaurants and coffee shops ( La Posta, Tramonte, Midway, Charlie Hong Kong, Verve) nearby as well as Shoppers Corner and Staff of life grocery stores and a whole foods, too! Kuumbwa Jazz club downtown as well as the Rio Theatre are great venues for music!

The area is ideal for biking and walking, with a nearby trail along the harbor gulch. We did not convert the bed into chairs while we were there, since we were mostly out and about. As shown in the picture, the beds are quite low, which was not at all a concern for the two of us. There is no television, but again we did not care as we were not there to watch TV. Savasana studio is perfect throughout Spring, Summer and Fall, however, due to the outdoor-focused setting, bathroom trips during cold winter nights are not for the faint of heart. Bring warm jammies!

Nestled in Live Oak, the studio is off the beaten path but is easily accessible to all Santa Cruz has to offer. An easy ride with the complimentary beach cruisers to Sunny Cove beach, Yacht Harbor, Sunday Farmer's Market, and many local cafe and restaurants!

Plenty of street parking and privacy.

The studio has a fridge, a coffee maker and other basics to make coffee and tea, however it is not set up for major cooking. There is a camping stove, sink, and some cookware. If camp style cooking isn't for you we suggest trying out many amazing places near by! Door dash and Ubereats deliver as well.

- "Our night and morning in the woods of Felton (in the Santa Cruz mountains) were entirely comfortable and beautiful. A cozy and clean cottage, adjoining a larger home, with trees all around and a small view of the Monterey Bay - very beautiful and the perfect escape ! The drive in (through the Cowell redwoods) was really gorgeous, and the town of Felton itself was charming, with a number of restaurant choices. And breakfast on the coast in Davenport was ideal - sunny, while Santa Cruz was still fog-bound. The cottage has a well-stocked kitchen, and we almost chose to cook dinner at home; but we enjoyed lounging in the cottage's cool, fragrant evening air after our restaurant dinner instead. Marvelous bed, comfortable Adirondack chairs, GREAT towels - a wonderful spot to relax !"

Our home is nestled in the quiet hills of Wine Country. With its own private entrance, we have a two bedroom apartment for you to enjoy. Both rooms have King Beds and full private bathrooms, one of which has a large soaking tub and double sinks. A small kitchenette (please note: no oven available), couch, TV with streaming, table, games and fireplace are in the living room. This is a great space for a family or two couples on a trip together.
The space
You can't help but relax and unwind after leaving the freeway and driving past farms, ranches, and wineries to our little getaway. Just a few minutes from town, our home is located on a small hilltop in the beautiful wine country. We are also less than 2 miles from Wild Horse, Bella Luna, Hidden Oak, and Fableist Wineries. Enjoy an afternoon of wine tasting! Feel free to walk around our 6 acres, play lawn games on the soccer field, enjoy outdoor seating areas throughout, and try out our kid's beloved rope swing if you dare. :) We have sheep grazing in the valley, baby lambs during the appropriate season, and the sweetest guard dogs named Wampa and Phazzy who protect our flock.

While our guest wing is attached to our main house, we keep the corridor locked and welcome you in with your own private entrance and walkway. We recently purchased new mattresses for both bedrooms and replaced the queen bed with a king (so both rooms have kings!). Each bedroom has its own private bathroom. There is also a separate TV in the master bedroom. A Graco Pack N Play with clean sheets is available upon request.

The living area has its own small kitchen area, complete with mini fridge, toaster oven, electric griddle, two hot plates with a couple of pans, Keurig coffee pot with pods, microwave and all the dishes, glasses, and silverware you might need. Please note, the kitchenette does NOT have a regular oven.

There is also a comfy couch, dining area, large TV with streaming, and games. For an additional charge of $20/night bedding & towels can be provided for the queen size sofa sleeper in the living room for an additional 2 guests. Laundry is also available upon request.
Guest access
We look forward to welcoming you with your own keys to the guest wing. Plenty of parking is just outside your door. The space
This is a downstairs unit with a private entrance. There is one designated parking spot. The house is 1.5 flights of stairs up from the parking area. Inside there is a living area with a kitchenette, large bathroom and a bedroom. A shared laundry area is accessed through a door you can lock. Kitchen adventures are limited to what you can do with a portable induction cooktop, a microwave and a toaster oven. Other appliances may be available upon request. There is also a private outdoor patio for lounging and dining with a BBQ.

Guests will have the entire lower unit and the outdoor patio area to themselves. The small parking area is shared, but guests have a designated parking spot (trucks might be a tight fit; no long beds) and the staircase to/from the parking area is used by both the host and guest.

Other things to note
There are two cats and 15 chickens on the property (but no Roosters, thank goodness!). Cats are exclusively indoors and upstairs. Interaction with the chickens is voluntary. ; ) In the morning, laying hens can often be heard. The hens love kitchen scraps and in spring/summer we often have eggs to share!

Our little studio apartment is updated and very modern. Small couch, TV, kitchen table, and queen size bed are all provided. It is comfortable and includes a large bathroom and nice kitchen. 2 burner stove top, air fryer oven, and full refrigerator. It also has a private front porch right out the door. Internet can be spotty at times but for the most part works fine (local coffee shops are a short drive if internet is acting up).

The long stairway leading up to the home is not for the faint of heart! There are about 100 stairs. It may seem a little daunting upon first arrival but once you see the beautiful views this elevation provides, you won't regret it.

The home is not accessible to who cannot climb stairs. You’ll climb about 100 steps, spread across three flights of concrete stairs to access the house, but once you’re at the top, the views are well worth the climb!

Inside, there’s also a steep, ladder-like staircase leading up to the bedroom level, which may not suit all guests.

Please note the central air only delivers heat and is locked to not go above 70 degrees Fahrenheit.

To heat the upper unit, we have electric fireplace heaters in both bedrooms and a gas fireplace in the family room that works really well.

- Additional cleaning services are available during your stay for additional cost

Guest access
Guests will have full access to the entire home, including a patio. One parking spot is designated for this unit on the right side of the driveway, under the OVR sign. If you have a second car, we provide a map of the permitted and available parking areas.

Other things to note
- This vibrant neighborhood is located along a main road, so you can expect some traffic noise during the day and occasionally at night, adding to the energetic atmosphere of the area.
- The carport accommodates 1 car. While there is paid street parking available in the village, please note that finding a spot can be more challenging during peak times.
- We are required to stick to our cancellation policy and we suggest adding trip insurance for any last minute issues that may impact your travel (Weather, Illness, etc). We are not able to cancel, move or refund bookings that do not fall in our cancellation policy for any reason.

The space
Pleasure Point Cottage makes the perfect home base for a great adventure on Monterey Bay, nestled halfway between San Francisco and Carmel-by-the Sea.  Short-term Rental Permit #221263.

This two-bedroom cottage is a part of a friendly triplex, boasting a well-equipped kitchen with all basic appliances, including a gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, electric coffee pot, dishes, and cookware.

The master bedroom presents a queen size bed, fresh linens, an open beam ceiling, and a walk-in closet. The second bedroom features two extra-long twin size beds, comfortable for both adults and children. A high chair and portable crib are available upon request.

Uniquely, this attached cottage offers off-street parking and its own private, fenced yard. All utilities are included - Smart TV, Wi-Fi, laundry, gardener, BBQ, and an outdoor table. We warmly welcome your dog too! They will surely appreciate the fenced yard and walks throughout the pet-friendly neighborhood. There will be a $50 non-refundable pet fee charged once your booking is confirmed.

Please note, the non-coin-operated laundry room, trash bins, and parking areas are amenities shared with the two other cottages in the triplex.

We provide off-street parking in a private parking area. This gorgeous apartment is adjacent to our Architectural offices. The Bombora apartment has its own private entrance. A very quiet location. The space
We provide some fun details like. A surfboard, beach chairs, beach towels, and a beach wagon to bring your gear down to the beach. We also have an exterior deck with a beautiful fire pit.

There is a spiral stair to a roof deck near the front door. This stair and roof deck are not for guest access.

Other things to note
Your neighbor is an architectural office. The office is open during normal week day hours. 8am to 7pm. Although the walls are well insulated, you may hear others faintly. Cleaners come to the office each Saturday morning near 8am. You will hear them.
Our home does not accommodate animals, service animals or ESA's, due to allergies. If you use the exterior gas fire pit, please keep noise levels down. We'd hate to upset our neighbors.

SLEEPING:
This is a unique one-bedroom condo that has a stylishly decorated and recently remodeled interior that can accommodate up to a family of 4 with a super comfortable KING BED in the bedroom and a QUEEN SOFA BED in the living room. There are also extra blankets for those who like more warmth.

BATHROOM:
In the bathroom, you'll find that there's a bidet for those travelers who like that extra luxury when on vacation. There's also other items such as a professional quality hair dryer, make-up cloths, magnified mirror, super soft towels, and a fresh set of shampoo, conditioner, and soaps. Most importantly bright lights for getting ready in the morning.

CONTENTS:
You will find the condo to be very well appointed (more so than most). Your stay will include a supply of high quality tissue, paper towels, toilet paper, and toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and bar soap. We do not use cheap supplies as we would want to be comfortable if we were on vacation and have supplied it as we would hope would be done for us. There are other amenities, such as a portable speaker, computer, oscillating fan, vacuum, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels, skimboards, boogie boards, pack & play, electric kettle, coffee pot with coffee, creamer, and sugar, tea, toaster, dish-ware, pots, pans, silverware, games, extra blankets, soft bath towels, high quality linens, XBox Series S and 65 inch Samsung Smart tv's to allow use of most all tv streaming services in both the bedroom and living area.

AT RESORT:
The pool and spa that is closest to this condo is perfect for relaxing and there are 2 more not far away. The Sanderlings Restaurant and Bar is just steps away from the condo, in the same building and is a great place to visit for lunch, dinner, or drinks with amazing food and spectacular views. There's a path that spans throughout the resort, but most conveniently, it makes for a short walk down to the perfect beach with clean and soft sand.

NEAR RESORT:
Across the street you'll find Seascape Village that has a great coffee shop and deli, pizza place, Mexican food restaurant, small quaint market, liquor store, fitness training center, and a few other unique shops. There's also a nearby golf course that accepts outside guests for a cost.

Guest access
Enjoy contactless access when you arrive. Simply park in front of the resort or under in the parking garage and use the provided code to enter the condo. There's no need to check-in at the front desk of the resort because your reservation is directly with us and will not be in their system. Parking is free throughout the resort. (Please Note: Currently there’s a dispute between the HOA and onsite rental management company and the main and south pools may not be available)

Other things to note
All cleaning is in compliance with Airbnb's 5 step enhanced cleaning process. The condo will be freshly cleaned and stocked for check-in. Extra cleanings during your stay are available upon request for a fee.

IMPORTANT DISCLOSURES - PLEASE READ:

THE CONDO IS NOT STOCKED FOR LONG STAYS. Only an initial supply of items such as toilet paper, tissue, paper towels, coffee etc are supplied. This is done to make things easier for you when you arrive. Also, there are towels and linens provided, but they are not cleaned or resupplied during your stay. A laundry facility is located in the parking garage, just below the condo, which can be used for free. If you would like extra cleanings during your stay which would include a refreshed setup just as when you arrived, it can be arranged for a $149 fee.

EARLY CHECK-IN AND LATE CHECK-OUT IS NOT POSSIBLE BECAUSE OF CLEANING SCHEDULE AND TIMED LOCK CODING. It is guaranteed to be ready by the normal check-in time.

THERE IS NO TRADITIONAL OVEN. The condo has a kitchenette and not a full kitchen. It contains an under counter refrigerator, compact freezer, drawer dishwasher, electric stove top, coffee maker, blender, electric kettle, and toaster. The microwave does have a convection oven feature.

THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING. Most coastal locations don't have and rarely need air conditioning because of the cool breeze from the ocean.

PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED. As per personal policy and the policy of the resort, guests are not allowed to have pets of the property. If you see them during your stay it is just because regulation allows neighboring residents to pass thru to the beach.

The resort facilities and services may, from time to time, have certain amenities temporarily out of service or under maintenance for various reasons. We will keep you informed as we are if this occurs, but cannot make special accommodation for conditions that are out of our control.

AIRBNB GUESTS ARE CONSIDERED OWNER'S GUESTS. DAILY HOUSEKEEPING, IN-ROOM DINING SERVICE, BEACH FIRE PITS, AND GOLF CART RIDES ARE NOT AVAILABLE TO GUESTS THAT DON'T BOOK DIRECTLY THRU THE RESORT. NIGHTLY RATES DIRECTLY THRU THE THE RESORT ARE MUCH HIGHER IN ADDITION TO AN ADDED DAILY RESORT FEE.
