The main house was built in 1950 and sits on almost an acre of land inside the city limits of Watsonville. It sits the very top of the hill and at the end of a cul-de-sac street. There are beautiful views in every direction. It feels like you are living in the country but with all the major shopping conveniences within walking distance.

The spacious two-bedroom guest suite is on the top floor over the garage and offers views of mountains and valleys from every room. Both bedrooms are very spacious with dressers and very large closets and plenty of hangers. There is a 65” Smart TV in the living room and a 55” Smart TV in the master bedroom. There is a king size bed in the master bedroom and a queen size in the 2nd bedroom. Both beds have quality mattresses and are very comfortable.

The kitchen is equipped with a full sized fridge and oven. Also has a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, coffee french press, and a hot water kettle. Completely equipped with pots and pans, almost everything needed for baking, measuring cups & spoons, cheese grater, salad spinner. We have almost all the kitchen tools available (instant pot, etc) but limited storage in the kitchen. If there is something you need, we can get it for you.

There is a full size washer & dryer inside the unit for your dedicated use.

The property itself is very unique. We are in the early planning stages of retrofitting the property into an elder care home (opening 2025) so the exterior may look very sad and run down. We are putting our energy and love into the landscaping. The building itself will receive a facelift when the remodeling has been completed.

Guests have access to our expansive and fully fenced yard. We have a very lovable 9-year-old shepard who is very welcoming to everyone and other dogs. We welcome our guests with dogs but we need to discuss your needs with us in advance of confirming the reservation. Please don’t bring a pet without first confirming. There is a pet fee of $150 for your entire stay.

There is plenty of parking off-street available.

Guests will enter through a side entrance, separate from the entrance to the main house. There is an interior flight of stairs to the 2nd floor apartment. There is an electronic lock to the apartment as well as the exterior entrance door.

There is an exterior locking closet for bicycles, suitcases, boxes, etc. Please inquire if you have specific needs other than suitcases and a few boxes.
