Come Glamp in South Santa Cruz County and share our amazing view of the Harkins Slough Wetlands. We provide an 8'x10' canvas tent with a queen sized memory foam camping mattress and small heater. The canvas tent is perched on our 10'x15' overlook deck. Centrally located between Santa Cruz and Monterey your options for entertainment limitless; taproom, restaurants and the Corralitos wine trail are all just minutes away.

- "This weekend was certainly one to remember. When we arrived, Rob came out to greet us and helped us carry our things to the tent. It was more spacious than you might think, and my partner who is over 6ft was able to easily stand up straight. While we were putting our things away, Rob built us a fire and made sure to point out a small gift that him and his wife wanted to give us for our anniversary. The gesture was incredibly thoughtful and made our night. The next morning, Rob brought us a French press and some oat milk to enjoy while we watched the local wildlife come to life as the fog lifted over the wetlands. Because of all of the flowers near the tent, a few bees and hummingbirds made their morning rounds collecting pollen and nectar just a few feet away from us. It felt pretty magical! It was a beautiful place to stay and made coming back after a long day of adventuring all that much more exciting. Our only regret is not getting a chance to try the solar shower! We're excited to make another trip out soon to enjoy the views and ambiance."

Summary:
The camp site is in an oakwood grove area. Lots of varieties of birds here (and turkeys). Feel free to walk around our 5 acre property and catch the sunset from the hillside. We are about 11 minutes to Mount Madonna State park, 10 minutes from local healthy grocery store, yoga studio and 15 minutes away from the Pajaro Dunes coastal area. Santa Cruz fairground is just two minutes away. We are surrounded by farms and nurseries. Its the capital of salad bowl in the United States. 15-25 minutes away to Santa Cruz beaches. 30 minutes away to Monterey. Wine trail is just down the road. Activities nearby: Horseback riding (Check out Mount Madonna stable), Yoga retreat at Mount Madonna, Hiking @ Mount Madonna State Park, Wine Tastings (lots of wineries here with beautiful scenes), Kayaking at Elkhorn Slough or at any beaches, Yoga @ Watsonville Yoga or onsite, Swimming, Scuba diving In Monterey, visiting a Hanoman temple at Mount Madonna retreat center and any events at Santa Cruz Fairground has to offer.

This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid and offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature!

Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed with a memory foam mattress. The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night.

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation.

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

Other Things to Note:
located at 407 Hecker Pass rd, Watsonville, CA. Turn left on the driveway, please drive very slowly as chickens, small dogs, horses cross the driway often. go all the way down, pass two gates and pls park next to the Oakwood grove on the gravel road. The tent site is in the corner of the oak grove on your left. Please text us at 831 325 8347 with your ETA.

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location.

If a Tentrr Host submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the host's property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your confirmation email. Your Tentrr Host is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf, and they are unable to waive any cancellation fees (if applicable). Practically everything needed for full hook up camping. Please no pets on the bed, extra fee will be charged for cleaning up pet hair off the furniture.
