Alameda is an island town with a beach nearby and easy access into SF or Oakland.
The space
This is a classic Airstream landyacht (32') that has been remodeled. She goes by the name Emma Hesse. There is living space with a queen bed and a separate bedroom with a twin day bed/couch. Spacious bathroom has been remodeled with a clawfoot tub and while luxurious for a camper, its height limits it to a European hand held shower and 10gal water heater.
It is a 2 room trailer and spacious for a trailer with remodeled bedroom and bathroom and new flooring.
Kitchen is fully stocked but oven DOES NOT work. There is no microwave due to circuit overload. Newer personal fridge replaces the original.

This is a vintage Airstream camper, not a house or hotel, and is a minimal space though we hope to make your stay cozy.
This is NOT a great place if you are seeking absolute quiet or hotel conveniences
Beautiful curved ceilings means a short shower/tub so please be aware if you are tall or don't like small spaces. The shower is also outfitted for a trailer space and you will have to take shorter showers due to the 10gal water heater. The bathtub serves as a shower pan and cannot be used a traditional tub to be filled with hot water.
Yard is shared but during your stay we can designate either front or back yard for privacy. We have a dog that accesses the yard.
Guest access
You can enter via the front or side yard. The whole side of the yard is dedicated to the airstream.
Other things to note
Please note that we have a dog on our property that may want to say hello in the back yard. He is not allowed in the trailer, however.
Our house is next to an apartment building where you will hear neighbors. I have ear plugs if you are sensitive to noise while sleeping. Please consider this before booking and message me with any questions.
The screen door latches automatically. You have to reach inside to open latch from the outside. There are quirks of a 1972 Airstream that may need your ''magic touch". Please be patient and gentle and read the welcome guide upon arrival

A travel trailer parked on a tree lined street. Walking or bike riding distance to great local restaurants, bars, farmers markets and outdoor recreation; paddle boarding, sailing, kite surfing, the beach trails and a beautiful view of the San Francisco Bay. A quick bike ride or Lyft to the Ferry terminal where you can go to Jack London Square or Pier 39/ Fisherman’s Warf.
You can take the Ferry to a Giants game or Warriors game.

Other things to note
The unit is parked in our driveway which sits in front of our house. There is not a private outdoor area however there is an outdoor driveway patio area to sit in. Please, no smoking as per city of Alameda ordinance.

Alameda is a beautiful island community in the heart of the Bay, filled with beautiful homes, adorable shops, and many great restaurants. The San Francisco ferry is close by to whisk you to the big city, so why would you want to stay anywhere else?
The space
This beautiful yacht is like nothing else in the Bay area. Simultaneously classicly old and refreshingly new, This vessel offers all the amenities of a luxury condo with all the class and style of a bygone era. The feel is pure antique, but the systems are 21st century, all modern to provide all the convenience you could want.
We have a kitchen, a full bathroom, as well as a luxurous memory foam bed, well as sofas and an outdoor cockpit patio area for your peace and comfort.We don't offer rides on this boat, but BAE boat rentals is right next door if you want to go out on the bay. Mosley's cafe offers breakfast, lunch, and with notice private dinner to our guests.
Guest access
you will have the yacht to yourselves. There is free secure parking in the marina lot, usable with our guest parking pass.
Other things to note
We ask that no paper goes into the toilet, just the waste bin please. (we really mean No paper at all, also No tampons, No condoms, or anything that hasn't been produced by your body)
No smoking aboard the boat or the dock please.
You can self check in anytime after 3:00, checkout is no later than 11:00 am, thanks.
No pets or service animals allowed unless you get permission from us before booking the yacht. There is a mandatory $40 animal sanitation fee to insure the next guest isn’t affected by your animal’s hair, dander, hitch hikers like fleas and ticks, diseases, etc. please add a pet to the listing when booking and let us know about the animal when requesting your stay. And please bring linens to use for your animal to use as a barrier between them and the bed or cushions. Thank you.
there is a parking pass for your car on a hook as you enter the main cabin of the boat. Once you are aboard, please take the pass and place it on the dash of your car. At checkout please return the pass to the hook inside the boat for the next guest to use. Replacement fee is $50.00. thank you
Depending on your arrival time, we may leave the boat open for you. The marina is very safe and there is ample security keeping an eye on the boat and dock. So please don’t worry if it’s open when you arrive.
