One Guest Bedroom with two Twin Beds and a flat screen TV. One Bath with a shower and ample towels. The Living Room seats 4 with TV, DVD player and comfortable down furniture. Lastly, the Small full kitchen with a cozy nook seats up to 4.

There are three exterior brick seating areas inclusive of the back and front yards with a BBQ, outdoor shower with hot water and a hot tub for outside enjoyment. The backyard is surrounded by tall hedges and a beautiful rose garden. Both the backyard and the front are gated for privacy and convenience for yourselves and your pets.

The kitchen is quite small, but had nice appliances and all the necessities to cook meals. The main bedroom was very comfortable with nice bedding. The neighborhood was very quiet and there was easy parking in front of the cottage. The purpose of my visit was to see family who live nearby. I would definitely rent the cottage again."

Happy House is a charming 2 bedroom 1 bath Cottage just steps away to the entrance to Seacliff State Beach Park. At this time we are offering reservations that are 30+ days long. This is convenient for traveling nurses, working remote, extended vacations, families, retired guests or even locals remodeling their home that need safe temporary housing.

You have parking for up to 3 vehicles in our driveway. We have a fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker, stove/oven, refrigerator, cook ware and dishwasher. There is a washer & dryer for laundry and we provide linens and towels for the house, please bring your own beach towels.

We have wireless internet access, smart TV, DVD and VCR with movies for kids. Happy House is less than a block to groceries, restaurants and shops. Amenities include gas log fireplace, a fenced back yard and charcoal barbecue.

Explore the natural beauty in our area along the coastline to the redwood forests and beyond. As our guest you have use of our Golden Poppy Annual Day Use Pass which gets you into many Northern California State Parks, State Beaches, State Reservoirs and premiere Redwoods for free. (Regularly $10 a day).

Seacliff State Beach Park is the home of the cement ship. It has picnic areas, fishing, visitor/learning center with information on the local fossils and history. There is also a paved pathway for walking or biking that leads to Rio Del Mar Beach. The beach and walking areas welcomes dogs on leash.

We are near the redwoods in Nisene Marks State park with great hiking and biking trails. We are 10 minute drive to Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Monterey Bay Aquarium is about a 45 minute drive and Roaring Camp is about a 20 minute drive.

We have a relaxed, casual atmosphere. For small kids there are 2 booster seats for the kitchen table and beach toys. We have an assortment of children's books, mega-blocks, family board games, beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards you are welcome to use.

Happy House is a cozy home limited to 6 guests. The default rate includes 2 guests, additional guests are $5 a person per night. Friendly, well behaved pets who are a good fit with our pet rules are welcome at a $150 fee per pet which must be arranged in advance.

There are two tables for outdoor dining, a wonderful hammock, two comfortable Adirondack chairs, and an area for Bocce ball and corn hole. Plus, the property has everything you need for the beach—a beach umbrella, beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, a standup paddle board, and sand toys. We highly recommend this house for families with active kids."

We continue using a “HypoCleanse HOCL all Natural’’ ELECTROSTATIC DISINFECTION process which has been “approved by the EPA’’. This is done before and after every guest. (This ongoing disinfection process is reflected in the housekeeping fee).

During this time, the kitchen remains stocked with eating utensils plates and glassware as well as Coffee filters.

You may choose to bring your own bedding, towels, disposable plates, cups and utensils, spices, etc. Anything to make your stay more comfortable. Please, NO sleeping bags.

As you sit on the raised backyard deck of our Cottage, watch boats come and go from the Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor. In the distance you will hear the Sea Lions on the Santa Cruz Pier, and the adults and children laughing and screaming as they ride the Circa 1924 Giant Dipper on the famous 100 Year Old Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. A 7 minute drive or a 1.20 mile walk. There is also a 'Summer Season' water taxi that will glide you across the Yacht Harbor to get you on your walk to the Beach Boardwalk a bit faster. 11:00 to 6:00 pm summer weekends and holidays though Labor Day.

Take Kayaking excursions on the Bay or a Chardonnay II Tour, go Wine Tasting or take the Skunk Train into the Santa Cruz Mountains!

This charming beach cottage was completely rebuilt ten years ago. Enter the front gate and you are on deck with views of the ocean. Built in benches provide ample seating for outside dining or just relaxing. A beautifully landscaped yard is fenced in for children's safety.

The ground level of this home features a great room with cathedral ceilings, a beautiful kitchen with pantry, and a master suite with a bathroom with a large shower with glass tile accents.

The upstairs is private master suite with ocean views and a bathroom with tub/shower combination.

The basement is ideal for a children or teen age suite. It has new wood floors. There are 2 twin beds and a new queen bed for sleeping. A huge TV , toys games, and books are provided. There is a third bathroom with a shower off this room. A washer and dryer are also located downstairs.

The description says the home sleeps 6 but it is best suited for 2 or 4 adults and up to 2-4 children. The children's suite is on the lower level and has twin beds and a queen size bed. The 2 master suites provide comfortable king size beds.

Warehouse complex across the street has the popular Verve coffee roastery for your morning latte, and a rock climbing gym with yoga and other classes available for visitors. Great restaurants and coffee shops are on adjacent blocks. The home is centrally located so you're usually less than 10 minutes from almost anything you want to do in Santa Cruz.

The garden cottage is very charming, and is located on the grounds of historic landmark home, Epworth-by-the-sea. The unit was originally built in the late 1800's, and was used as a caretaker's cottage. It comes fully furnished, and includes extended basic cable and dedicated WiFi access. Pets are welcome for additional fee if arranged in advance. Modern amenities with the charm of a bygone era.

The Yellow Beach Cottage is a darling cottage with accommodations for 6. The cottage has two bedrooms. One bedroom has a king-size bed, and the other bedroom has two twin beds that can be converted into a king-size bed. There is a separate TV room that contains a queen-size bed. There is one full bath with a walk-in shower. There is also a nice full kitchen with stainless steel appliances.

The Yellow Beach Cottage is located at one of the best beaches in Santa Cruz and is within walking distance to numerous restaurants. Most importantly, the cottage has an amazing large deck that takes full advantage of the spectacular ocean view.

- "The house is a bit dated, and be aware that there is no AC…. But we came in the height of summer and it wasn’t a problem. But really, you’re renting this place for it’s location & that was perfection. Everyone in our party (ranged from 3 to 73) was able to get up and down the rock path which is steps from the front door! The owner was great to communicate with & we had an absolute blast! Parking in SC can be a nightmare and renting this place gave us 4 spots (2 in the back of the house and 2 we took at 6am when they were empty). Would definitely rent again!"
