Big thumbs up for how quiet it was not a lot of traffic noise not a lot of other guest noise. Bed was very comfortable tub had jets. We didn’t use the fireplace, but it was great that it was there for the really cool nights. The grounds were as advertised all in all this property is great for a short stay. I don’t know that I would choose it for someplace where I was going to be for a week, but not disappointed at all with what I found when I got there . "

- "Peaceful.Quiet " - "A unique property with an interesting history. My friends and I loved our big rooms with a king bed and balcony. There were a few thing that i should point out. in my room #223 there was a constant humming sound from some motor or something that for some could cause irritation but i can sleep through anything so i was ok for me. I found a half eaten fried chicken leg under the side of the bed, (Don't know how that was missed in the cleaning of the room because it was big) There was a weird smell in the room from the cleaning products, I believe that they use, and the coffee maker overfilled the cup spilling everywhere. (Good thing there was a tray under it to catch all the overflow.) The shower curtain was not wide enough to fully close thus letting water out all over the bathroom floor. The lounge restaurant was closed for a high school reunion so that was back luck for me. On the positive the bed was probably the most comfortable bed i have ever slept in. Over all it was a nice stay and would defiantly go back again"

The rooms are beautiful and calm, the second-floor deck is perfect for a sunrise coffee or cheese and wine sunset snack. The sound of the ocean wafts through the open windows and keeps the rooms cool with a light salt breeze at night. There is a small contained fireplace to warm the room when the fog rolls up the peninsula. The fresh breakfast is delicious, and the guest services were very kind and helpful. My family has been staying here for 3 generations and we defiantly recommend it!"
