Newly built small, fully furnished cottage (one bedroom plus full kitchen, living room, large bathroom) on a 1.75 acres. Ideal for a couple or a couple with a young child. No extra charge for child. Guests have access to garden with fresh herbs, fruits and vegetables if in season and 25 yd lap pool. Pool is solar heated (warm April through September) and is covered when not in use. No charge for children under 5.

The house is located on the bike path; 5 miles to UC Davis; 15 miles to the Beryessa National Monument.

It used to house day-rate milkers who worked at the dairy in the 1930's-40's. Sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine during the Golden Hour or take family pics in and around our historic barns. The quiet and calm is good for your soul! Fantastic Farm To Fork eateries are not far away. This ranch has been in our family for a century--come see a piece of history!

- "We thoroughly loved our stay at this quaint little VRBO on a wide open spaces farm and one day we toured to Winters and had beers and heard live music .... and one morning we had breakfast in Davis at Crepeville which was out of this world in the form of a Eggs Benedict crepe and also a banana peanut butter chocolate crepe. Amazing !! Anyway we will return to this cute little vrbo place as often as we can and absolutely loved our stay here. The owners are so professional, friendly, nice and accommodating!!"

Location, location, location. Vintage cottage in the heart of downtown. Walking distance to Co-Op, farmer's market. We have a queen bed in the bedroom and comfy sleeper couch in the living room. There is no central AC, but we do have a window AC unit so house does get plenty cool in the summer.

No frills lowest priced private place in Davis. Must be comfortable with the vintage style in its original 1930's condition.

No washer/dryer, but for longer stay we can give access to main house.

This is an original 1930’s cottage that we are able to offer for the summer of 2023. A team of 2 people spent two full two days cleaning the space….:) having said that, the house is old…:) Owners have only replaced flooring in the bedroom and living room and everything else is the way it was 90 years ago. Paint is chipped in many places and the door has witnessed many different locks over time.

The opportunity is to stay in a private cottage in the heart of downtown Davis. If you appreciate vintage style and can look past what may seem like an unput and antique space, you would appreciate the location.

If you looking for modern amenities, the place would not be a good fit for
you.

The cottage shares a large lot with a 3 bedroom/2 bath house. Houses are separated by a fence that could be removed if need be. Larger house is also available for rent. Each property is rented separately but could be rented together if both are available.
