- "I’ve stayed here 6 or 8 times. The greenery around the yards and pool are well tended and so refreshing. " - "We very much enjoyed our stay! The property was clean and so was the room. Our CSR at checkin was very friendly. The property itself was nice and quiet and it genuinely seems like they put effort into providing a good experience to their guests. A potential con, which is completely out of their control, is that there was a nearby train that went by several times. Two sets of complimentary disposable ear plugs were in our room upon arrival, which I assume were to lessen the noise of the train, but the noise truly did not bother us and it did not go by after 9pm or before 8am so it did not disturb our sleep at all. This property is located right off the freeway which is very convenient. We didn’t get to use the pool or jacuzzi but the area also looked clean and like it would have been very relaxing had weather permitted. It is right near a Dutch bros which we were incredibly thankful for, as we did not have to drive around town to find a good cup of coffee. It’s also only a six or so minute drive from UC Davis campus. They are right across the street from an In n Out if you wanted to walk to grab a quick bite or if you don’t mind driving an few minutes there are several really great restaurants nearby as well. I booked here by mistake initially but it turned out to be great! We will definitely be staying again. "

🔊 City Sounds: Our home is on the edge of the downtown business district. It’s convenient and lively, but you may hear daytime activity and trains
about two blocks away. To help, we’ve provided double-pane windows, white noise machines, and earplugs.

🌱 Landscaping: Landscapers stop by every other Friday, usually mid-morning. They’ll be in the yard briefly but won’t need to enter the house.

🗑️ Trash Day: Fridays. Our team manages bins, unless you’d like to handle it yourself.

🪪 Verification & Deposit: Required only for direct (non-Airbnb) bookings. Airbnb guests are already covered through the platform.

There is ample space for up to 6 guests, with two queen beds and two twin beds set up in 3 bedrooms. Both the single-vanity and double-vanity full bathrooms have tubs and showers as well as basic amenities.

The kitchen is recently updated with plenty of storage and modern appliances. Please help yourself to any coffee, tea or treats! You'll find a cute dining space set up for 4, and an open plan living area separated by a built-in fire place.

We've built many happy memories in our first home, including welcoming our first child, and we look forward to helping you create memories of your own! We also have a big lemon tree in the backyard, so please help yourself to as many lemons as you like if they are in season!

The space

The house comes with two parking spaces and several bicycles available for use. Also indoor game table, Xbox, streaming and many board games.

Guest access
The house is most comfortable for up to 6, but can sleep up to 10.

Guests will have access to all areas of the house with the exception of the garage. There is a guesthouse and a guest suite in the backyard that can be rented in addition to the house (each sleeps up to 2). If not rented, there may people in those spaces, who have their own entrance and no access to the main house.

The space:
We purchased this property so we could walk everywhere in Davis! Over the years, our family expanded, and we needed a larger space, so we offer our beloved 2200 sq. feet house in the heart of Davis for your stay. The house has been fully upgraded with hardwood environmentally friendly bamboo floors (one of our kids has severe allergies, so we replaced all the carpet throughout the home with hardwood floors), new air and heating, new shades, as well as new furniture, sheets, blankets, etc. It is the only new-er (2004 built) three-story home in Central Davis with a large loft on the third floor, which can be used as an additional bedroom, work room, playroom, or a combination of all three!

We are locals and invested in ensuring that your stay is of quality and nothing short of exceptional, so we are happy to customize the house to meet your needs! To this end, if you're bringing children, please let us know, and we'll be happy to provide toys/games and ensure suitable sleeping arrangements. As parents ourselves, we are glad to accommodate your kids' playing needs!

Keyless entry makes the check-in/out easy! The guests will have access to the enter house.

Other things to note:
All pets need to be approved. The price is based on up to six guest occupancy (infants and small children are excluded from the total count); a fee will be charged for additional guests with a total guest limit of eight per stay. Absolutely no smocking. No events are permitted unless approved by us/hosts. If you would like us to get basic groceries upon your arrival, let us know and we'll be happy to accommodate for a fee and the cost of groceries.
