Bad Harzburg is located on the northern edge of the Harz and is a recognized brine spa.

The city lies in the area of the northern foothills of the Harz at an altitude between 180 m and 555 m above sea level on the border of Lower Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt. It stretches south into the Radau valley and borders the Harz National Park. The Radau flows through the city in a south-north direction. To the north it is connected to the city of Braunschweig by the A 395 and thus to the A 2. In the east-west direction it connects Wernigerode and Quedlinburg via the federal roads 6 and 82 with the A 7. The highest point in the Harz Mountains, the Brocken, is about 13 km south. Bad Harzburg has a prevailing mild climate and a wooded area.

From 1831 Bad Harzburg was known as a spa and bathing resort. The salt works were closed in 1851 and the actual bathing business was established. The apartment has one bedroom with a double bed, bedside cabinets and wardrobe. Bed linen blankets and pillows are available. A travel cot for children and extra beds are also available. The living room has a cozy lounge area with flat screen TV (satellite), and a plant. In the apartment there is Wi-Fi. The bathroom is wheelchair accessible and has a bath, a shower and a washing machine and dryer have your place here. In the cozy kitchen with dining area you can find both a fridge-freezer, and a stove with oven, microwave and kettle and coffee maker. (Dishes and cooking utensils highchair are available). From the kitchen you can go into the garden. There are several seating with cushions, a barbecue, garden games such as badminton, and a furnished gazebo. Bicycles, and a Kinderfahhrad and a child seat are also available. The whole apartment has outdoor blinds, front of the house is a parking lot. They are allowed to smoke outdoors. Pets are undesirable.
