Walk right to the top one, swim over to the waterfall and get a powerful tingling massage from the water! Also snorkelling at Hideaway Island. It's the best we found. Whilst on the subject: If you head that way, take great care snorkelling off Breakas resort, in fact DO NOT go out to the reef at high tide. 2 of our party of 4 -both strong swimmers- were swept off the reef by dangerous offshore currents just as we got near the surf break and were VERY lucky to get back in. (If this happens swim parallel with the beach until you are out of the rip. Don't try to fight it as the water is stronger than you and you will quickly get fatigued) Beyond believe that beach isn't patriolled! We will definitely be heading back to Quest Apartments. Our place is 6-8 minutes drive to the city center, main supermarket and the main food market in town. You’ll love our place because it is very private, quiet and cozy and we are good hosts! We love visitors and may bug you with our friendliness, but we also promise to leave you alone if you ask us to. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families with kids. We are happy to share with you our culture and show you around the place, if you ask us to.

The space
The place is a 2 bedroom self-contained apartment with a large dining room with open kitchen. There is a TV screen with DVD player and some old movie DVDs. It is a quiet and private area, surrounded by brick walls and you have your own privacy. The hosts live upstairs, but both guests and hosts have their own entrances, so guests actually have their own space. The hosts have a strict NO PARTY after 10pm as our neighbourhood is a quiet neighbourhood and we want to respect that.

We also DO NOT ALLOW kava (and kava gathering and spitting) to be consumed on the premises. Please respect this arrangement as we care for our property and the health of our future guests.

The apartment is furnished with ceiling fans (bedrooms, lounge and kitchen), which is included in the nightly price. There are AC systems in the bedrooms that were long installed by the previous long term tenants but the use of them are NOT included in the accommodation cost. We try to make the accomodation affordable so we take out the cost of AC as electricity bill in Vanuatu is astronomical with AC use. However, If you desperately need to use the AC, an additional upfront payment of vt5,000 per day is required. Please do respect this arrangement as it is awkward for us to have to tell you that we can hear the AC going from upstairs, when no arrangement is done with us.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire 2 bedroom apartment and are welcome to go up to the hosts anytime if they wish. Hosts will be happy to socialize with guests, especially on Sundays, and show them around the place. If guests want to go around the island of Efate, depending on the hosts' schedule, hosts will be willing to take guests based on local charge to go around the island.

While kava is Vanuatu’s cultural drink, unfortunately we do not allow KAVA to be consumed on the premises. Please respect this arrangement.

Other things to note
The apartment caters for up to 4 guests and if there are extra guests, we can provide mattresses to accommodate up to two additional guests for additional charge of $10 per person, per night.

This apartment has 1 king size bed in one room & 2 single beds in the other room to accommodate a couple & up to 3xchildren.

The space
You will have a fully self contained kitchen with a two burner gas cooktop. The living room with couch/sofa, table and a 32 inch TV means there's space to relax on your holiday. There are 2 bedrooms that has a king size bed in one room and two single beds in the other, these can be combined for a super king upon request. Your private bathroom is equipped with flushable toilet and a hot shower.

Local "busses" like a minivan with 9 seats is the best was to get around without a car. They can be waved down and then just ask where you want to go.
It will cost 150vatu per person around town and you pay when getting out.

Cars can also be hired from sites within a few minutes of the lodge if you want
