- "The area where the apartment is located is really nice - but its the worst suite within the complex. The a/c was not working and the host didn’t answer any message we sent concerning this problem. The tv was also not working and the Appartement was dirty with ants and snails in the bedroom. I would not rent this place again. Holiday was a nightmare and we left early."

Charming studio, renovated, independent of 35 m2 for two people ( 2 beds of 80/200, separable or reachable) with sea view, within vaulted ramparts of the XIV°s. It benefits from two small terraces giving on the 1 st floor with sea view, on the surrounding street, on one side. Another private entrance gives below a flowery pedestrian street of the village. Beautiful view, large fresh room high ceiling where it leaps to be after beach.

The space
Two entrances, one on the sea facade side, with beautiful views ( sunrises in the early morning on the sea or moonrises in the evening), but with entertainment and a little traffic ( one-way direction) and another on the pedestrian village street side, more tranquil, especially in the evening, with a family atmosphere a little Italian.
Basic but pleasant amenities (beige and blue shower, kitchenette integrated into the living room. Large solid wood table (chataignier and elm) for meals or work. The walls are painted with lime, the provencal tile, a little broken in places is original. We left some gray rock naked, as a witness of the structure of the room.
No wifi (it works badly in Ramatuelle), but we now plug your phone into his cell phone and it works as well, if not free wifi on the village square near the church or at the ormeau cafe.
It is a renovated place but which retains its particular character as a middle-aged rampart, right in front of the countryside and vineyards. We had an issue with a tenant who was expecting an urban and sanitized hotel room. If that's what you're looking for, this is not the right place. But if that's the charm of old stones and the village of yesteryear with proximity to festivals, the sea and Saint-Tropez, then yes, that's for you.

Other things to note
The month of August is very busy with the theater and jazz festivals and the Tropezian madness. The other months are delicious to enjoy this beautiful area. The famous Pampelonne Beach has been completely renovated and curiously much wilder out of season. The circuit of wines and its chateaux becomes very elaborate and the source of many pleasures. And then there are the walks in the Provencal countryside for connoisseurs.

On the first floor, the apartment was completely renovated in 2023. You arrive in a veranda facing north and west, with a table for two, two chairs, two folding Lafuma armchairs. If there are 4 of you, a large folding table is there, chairs, and two other sunbeds.
When you enter the apartment you arrive in the living room. Then, a lobby with the fully furnished, equipped kitchen and a dining area distributes two bedrooms with a view of the hillside. One bedroom has a double bed in 140 cm and the other two twin beds in 90cm (plus a 90cm drawer bed if needed, for a family of 5 people. If this is your case, contact me to discuss this). Children are welcome, but there are no special amenities and the property is not fenced. The toilet is separate and in the shower room (extra flat) with sink you have a laundry dryer. Mosquito outlets, air conditioning in the bedrooms, and silent fans are available.
However, we do not have a swimming pool or TV and there is no air conditioning in the living room.
The house is close to the road that leads to L'Escalet beach. You can hear the cars passing during the day, but the nights are quiet and the rooms overlook the hill.

The apartment is on the first floor. Access is from the outside, you are completely independent and the only guests to reside in the house, apart from us. We are my husband and I are on the ground floor.

Other things to note
In July and August, access to the old village is closed to vehicles from 6 p.m. until midnight.

The apartment is on the main street of the village. If you arrive before 6 p.m., you can park in front of our entrance at number 35 while you unload your bags and then go and park 150 m away.

If you arrive after 6 p.m., go directly to the 8 mai 1945 parking lot, the closest to the apartment, and walk (less than 5 minutes!)

This parking is free and unlimited.

Then, I recommend the free shuttles to go to the beaches of L'Escalet or Pampelonne. Stop at the end of the street, at the roundabout. This avoids paying for beach parking.

For any information, the tourist office is also at your service in the village.

Our apartment is located in the heart of the Gulf of St Tropez. The famous beaches of Pampelonne and Escalet are only 5 and 7 minutes from the rental. The center of the village of Ramatuelle is 3 minutes away with its local shops.
50 m away you will also find a greengrocer and delicatessen.

The space
Our 120 m2 apartment is on the first floor of a house that has only one floor. It is completely independent with its own entrance that welcomes you at the foot of a staircase that leads to the floor where you will discover a large 60 m2 room open by large bay windows on an outdoor terrace with a beautiful view of the vineyards.
This room consists of an open and equipped modern kitchen, and a large raw wood dining table.
Opposite, the living room side with a large sofa facing the vineyards, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach.
In this room there is also a toilet.

Bedroom 1 is equipped with a queen size double bed, an open bathroom and a walk-in closet.
A large bay window will allow you to fully enjoy, as soon as you wake up, an unobstructed view of the Ramatuelle countryside.


In bedroom 2, two single beds can accommodate either 2 children or 1 couple.
This bedroom also has its own private bathroom with toilet as well as plenty of storage space.
This bedroom also opens to the ground floor terrace.
