The apartment was clean and cozy. We didn’t expect them to tidy every day, but they did it. The property is located less than a five minute drive from the town. It’s walkable downhill but quite a trek uphill. We would definitely return to this gem!" - "This house is beautiful and maintained immaculately. You can tell the owners take great pride in their home. There are two guest rooms on the property and you will essentially be staying in a basement-type floor the way the house is designed. The rooms were clean and nice with amenities such as shampoo/soap/conditioner/toilet paper/flip flops, etc. Breakfast was included and it was delicious, consisting of traditional french breakfast usually Michel's home-made bread and baked goods, along with marmalade, butter, yogurt, and American style coffee. If you're a low key couple looking for a relaxing place to stay, I would recommend this place; however, there are some things I'd like to note. Catherine doesn't speak any English if you're like us and speak very basic French, that may be a problem. Michel understands some English but prefers French. Communication was a bit difficult with the language barrier but it was manageable so long as you don't need anything complicated. There are a lot of rules here as you'll be sharing the home with the owners, a fact we were unaware of until we arrived on the premises. We felt it was a bit strict and even though we were a party of four and had additional friends in the area for a wedding, felt uncomfortable just relaxing together at the house. We aren't rowdy people, but the rules of the house made us feel like we were staying with our parents or something. Catherine and Michel are very nice people even if they are a bit strict. So if you don't mind a couple of rules (most pretty reasonable), then this place would be great. The listing also says there is AC: be aware that the house has geothermal AC which is not like real AC at all. No fans were provided and while it can get cool during the nights, there is no moving air in the room and can get uncomfortable. The wifi was also very spotty."

Breakfast and dinner are included in the price of the stay (from April 15 to October 15 the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays, so the price of the meal is deducted). The mas have an outdoor swimming pool. The indoor pool is open and heated all year round. The relaxation area: sauna, hammam, jacuzzi is available from October 15 to May 15 at an additional cost. All rooms have a private terrace overlooking the pool and satellite TV.

Cozy cottage for 2 or 3 people below a beautiful and authentic house located in a small valley surrounded by pine trees. Air-conditioned rooms. 10-minute walk to the village. Beautiful views of the village and forest. Terrace equipped with sun loungers exposed to the sun and under the shade of trees with a beautiful garden and a private above-ground pool.
It is not suitable for people with limited mobility because the stairs to access the accommodation are steep.

The space
Comfortable and tastefully decorated gite with full kitchen. Oven/microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine available. Separate bathroom with toilet and Italian shower. The sleeping area, with quality boxsprings, is separated from the living area by a wall.
The garden is completely fenced and has sun beds, garden furniture, a daybed, and a parasol.

- On the left side in front of the gate, a parking place is reserved for your car. The parking space is located in front of the small road that goes up.
- To reach the private entrance, go up the road (long wall on the right)

Pool is open from late May until late September.
We have two cats and a dog (very friendly, she doesn't bark and stays on our property).

Our priority at the "Mas de la Bauquière" was first the quality of your bed, so in the bedroom you will find a 160 cm wide bed, with a mattress and pillows of great hotel quality! To improve your comfort, we have chosen 100% linen sheets, made in Europe.

This apartment consists of a large bedroom with wardrobes and dresser, a living/dining room with sofa bed (the mattress of the sofa is a Dunlopilo and is 135 cm wide), a TV, a set of table and chairs and reversible air conditioning, as well as a small equipped kitchen and a shower room.

Always concerned about well-being, the accommodation is therefore equipped with reversible air conditioning, an equipped kitchen (dishwasher, fridge, microwave, induction stove, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, dishes and utensils). Not to mention, your two private terraces among the olive trees!

We wanted to combine comfort and simplicity in this accommodation, with noble and natural materials (terracotta tiles, sea reeds, wood, linen...) and color tones that harmonize with the whole house and the outdoor environment.

The whole is an invitation to calm and relaxation for your vacation!

Finally, on site we have two pets: a young cat (Kiko) and a friendly dog (Lola) completely harmless.
Both are absolutely prohibited from entering this apartment, but you may encounter them in the garden!
