- "There was a power outage overnight the first night we stayed here. Upon realizing that in the morning, because there was no hot water, I tried to contact the manager. It took over an hour for her to respond and all she could tell me was that she couldn't get ahold of her handyman. After 2 hours of waiting with no update from the handyman, we left. I asked for a refund but was refused and I was accused of causing the power outage because I must have plugged in a North American device. This is impossible because North American devices use a completely different electrical configuration. I used 1 adapter that worked flawlessly throughout my trip in the UK, including at Waterloo House because the outlet it was plugged into, continued to work even after the outage that affected the kitchen and bathrooms. Some other issues with the place worth mentioning are that the instructions given for things like the TV, Netflix and the thermostat are out of date or at least don't match how the actual devices work. Also, this place is located in Hyson Green which is not considered a very nice neighbourhood. Our taxi driver even mentioned it. The worst thing we noticed was being woken up in the night to some drunken shouting."

It's a self check-in property. On the day of your check-in you will be sent access codes to the front entrance with smart lock installed for security, and code to your bedroom door, where a keyless doorlock is installed. You will also get a code to an additional locker in the shared area (kitchen), should you need more space than its provided in the apartment.

Located just outside of Nottingham City Centre, our Modern Annex is an unique private space with own access to and from the building , completely separated from the main house , comprising a cosy bedroom , a small lounge with sofa bed, a basic kitchenette area and a shower room .

The Kings Inn is a newly refurbished Public House and Rooms situated in the village of Creswell. Located approx. 15minutes drive off the M1. It is a traditional Public House with 3 beautiful bedrooms on the first floor.
There are lots of attractions nearby, bars, restaurants, take away's and coffee shops all within walking distance.

The space
There are 3 rooms available at The Kings Inn - all listed separately.
The main entrance is accessed via a lock box and each room has it's own private lock.
There is a communal kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, crockery, cutlery and ironing facilities.
All rooms have TV, Wi-Fi, hairdryers, fresh towels and linen and toiletries.
Room 3 is twin room with 2 single beds (can be made to a double if so required) with a separate shared shower room and toilet.

The property is close to the world famous Creswell Crags, Welbeck Estate, Sherwood Forest and Sherwood Pines.

There are a few wedding venues in the area too such as Van Dyks by Wildes, Thoresby Hall Hotel & Spa, Hazel Gap Barn, Hodsock Priory and Clumber Hotel.

Basic kitchen area with fridge/ kettle/ toaster. Trent Bridge Cricket Ground is a 20min walk or buses are only 200m away for access to Nottingham. Private access from the main house. We put the following breakfast things in the Garden Room, for you to help yourselves to and then top up as and when needed over your stay: tea, coffee (fresh+instant), semi-skimmed milk, orange juice, x2 cereals, yogurt, bread, croissants, jam and butter.

The sink in the bathroom isn’t big enough o wash-up and you’re on holiday….so we just ask that you put anything needing to be washed up on the tray provided at the side of the fridge and leave it on the table outside the garden room…if it’s ok with you, we will then wash it up and pop it back in your room.

Self-catering is available in the 3 acres behind the Guest House in either the Ploughman's Cottage or our stunning holiday homes.
