Tranquil and serene, Pepperpot Cottage is a hidden gem situated in the historical centre of Paarl. The tiny 22 square meters is stylish and quaint with its own entrance and off street parking for one vehicle. It is completely private and guests are welcome to come and go at leisure. It has all the luxuries to make your stay relaxing and memorable with a lush view from the stoep across the garden, farm style pond and vegetable patch of our work in progress garden.

The space
The cottage is an out building remodel, and although it is tiny, it is stylish with quality finishes. It has large windows overlooking the lush garden and the tips of the valley’s mountains.

The kitchenette has a bar size fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and two plate gas stove with a gas oven. Freshly ground coffee and plunger, tea, and rusks are supplied for your enjoyment. An Nespresso machine is also available with pods provided.

There is a television with a smart box and/or DSTV streaming through your own login.

Free wifi is available at 20Mb/s upload speed. An inverter powers the cottage during loadshedding.

The medium firm standard double bed is comfortable and you’ll sleep under 100% linen bedding. Down and memory foam pillows are available.

Plush cotton towels are provided for showers.

There is one parking on the property but it is NOT behind a gate and access to the cottage is through a private entrance door.

A strange menagerie of loved pets live together on the property. Chickens and my and the neighbours's cats are free range and free roaming. A small little dog is also now part of the family. Mr Ted Barker is a tiny little Yorkshire Terrier. Please be kind to all of them. The pond adjacent to the cottage is filled with fish.

Upon request the cottage can be cleaned during your stay.

In the area are wonderful trail walks in Paarl mountain, you can throw on your hiking gear and depart from the house.
It is also couple blocks away from the Bergriver for a stroll and the Main Road is a historical walk experience.

There are quite a few delicious coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance.
