A short drive to shops and not too far to some good vineyards. Breakfast was quite nice but would be good to have a helpful option. My daughter loved the trampoline and small playground. - "We had a great time at Sandmartins over the 2022 Christmas holiday. The house is very well equipped, clean and secure. Sandra is a great communicator and kept us nicely informed through the entire process. She even decorated the house for Christmas for us! As is common in South Africa, load shedding does impact this property, but we appreciated the small backup battery that kept the internet and Tv going. Also there is a large and heavy cover over on the pool table. Our lesson was not to place this on the patio, but to keep this inside and the wind knocked it over, causing some minor damage. All in all we had a great stay and really appreciate working with Sandra and Martin. Thanks"

No 42 is a private guest suite attached to my house with is own separate entrance and courtyard and off street parking for one car.

It is situated in a walled community in the northern area of Paarl close to supermarkets and hospitals. There is no security gate but the cameras at the entrance to the complex is monitored by a security company.

No 42 has a comfortable cottage feel with lovely old wooden furniture while still being clean, neat and uncluttered.

Total area of space is 40 m².

The space
The total space comprises of two rooms and a bathroom. The living room has a daybed which doubles as the second bed. It is a standard size single bed. The bedroom has one double bed.

The kitchen area which is part of the living area has a two plate gas cooker, kettle, toaster, fridge and a microwave but no oven. Tea and instant coffee are provided to start off your stay, as well as a French Press to make coffee but you'll need to bring your own filter coffee. Salt and pepper are also provided as well as all basic cooking utensils.

There is no cable TV (i.e. DSTV) or SABC but there is an Android media box offering various apps including Netflix and Youtube

There is a separate, covered back patio with BBQ facilities in the form of a Weber braai.

The bathroom has a shower only with toilet and basin.

There is a washing machine. iron and table standing ironing board which you may use freely. There is a fan for summer and a gas heater provided in winter.

Guest access
Although the suite is attached to the house, your space and entrance is private and separate. The back courtyard has been closed off so the space you have access to is your own very small garden.

There is an interleading door into the house which remains permanently locked.

Other things to note
The off street parking will fit a small to medium sized car but a larger 4x4 vehicle would need to park on the street just outside.
