Feel free to wander down to our Potager Garden, where we grow seasonal veggies and the chickens roam. Or sit by our Dam, which is a haven for all kinds of birds.

Your hosts live in the adjacent house and have created a lovely Dam and Potager garden at the back. Take a stroll down through the Lavender paths, pick some fresh veggies and take home some of our Free Range eggs for breakfast. We also have a dedicated garden for guests at the front of the property, with braai facilities and sun loungers.

Other things to note
The Linden Tree is situated on a gravel road in a residential area. Please take care when driving, as there are few pot holes since the recent flood.

Two of the bridges are still out after the recent floods in September, so access to Eskom street is only by turning left at the Astron Energy Garage into Station Road and first right after the bridge into Eskom St. We are the large pale grey house situated almost at the end of this road on the RHS, past the vineyards and just before Trade Street. There is a white gate at the entrance.

We share our home with two lovable German Shepherds, who also love meeting our guests.

We have a large Potager Garden too, so when in season we love to share any fruit and organic vegetables with our guests. And you can purchase Free Range Eggs from our chickens, which roam the property.

The recently renovated shed building is now a comfortable 6 sleeper guest house on the main property of Boschrivier Wines Accommodation. All of the accommodation is surrounding by farmland and natural fauna and flora, with a 5min walking to the foot of the mountain or a forest with roosting owls and porcupine burrows.

The space
The renovated old shed house has a gas top stove as well as gas donkey geysers for when Eskom pushes us off the grid. There's a cozy indoor fireplace as well as balcony braai with allocated invasive-cleared braai wood (extra wood can be purchased). The rooms have sleek and modern finishes for a comfortable and peaceful rest.

Guest access
Guests have access to the full plot extending to the front of the accommodation (including a forest running along the Bosch River) and private/safe mountain routes facing to back of the houses. There is also additional access to the tasting room (for snacks, coffee and wine tasting), the dam and river for rowing or swimming. We have 2 kayaks for guests to use (let me know in advance if you intend to make use of these).

Other things to note
Some other guests, nature and animals possibly share the space with you. Be on the lookout for reindeer (fallow deer), porcupines, mongoose, klipspringer, duiker antelope, blue cranes and many other bird species. I highly urge you to go out and explore, possibly get lost in the natural spaces. Chat to me for some secret spots on the farms.

Built in 2010 our cottage in the country is simple, contemporary and comfortable. Two en-suite bedrooms and an open plan living, dining and kitchen area all open onto a large covered verandah which offers views over farm lands. Suitable for 4 adults

The space
The cottage is a lovely barn style relaxed space. The second bedroom, and en-suite bathroom, is separated from the open plan living, dining and kitchen area and the master en-suite bedroom. The second bedroom is thus best suited for adults or older children.

Two friendly dogs are on the property, but you can be self-contained without them bothering you. Secure on-property parking for three vehicles.

stoep is a large house located on the main road that runs through Napier. Come & experience small town living. Located 2 hours from Capetown, 1 hour from Hermanus, 30 mins from the fishing village of Arniston where you can swim. The Southern tip of Africa is 45 minutes away. There are a number of small wine farms nearby. The house is fully solar powered. We have a large garden with a glorious swimming pool. Napier is beautiful little oasis that few know about so shhhhh….and come & visit

The space
This big old house stands high above the main road offering a glorious stoep to sit in and take on and take in the daily runnings of the town. There is a fabulous area next to the swimming pool to enjoy sundowners and take in a wider view of the town. Each room is decorated differently and is unique. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and hot blankets on beds for winter. Next to each bed is a fast charging USB plug. All the beds have 100% cotton linen. The house is fully solar powered so we are not affected by load shedding. One of the rooms, tumeric•stoep has extra length twin beds. There are x2 extra length queen beds in the 2 other rooms and peach• stoep has a double bed. blue•stoep has a shower and a bath tub.

this is a full house self catered stay. It runs as a bed and breakfast but we are open to letting the entire house out to a group. You would have access to all the spaces and the outside areas. The art studio and my office space inside the main house are not accessible to guests. The garden and swimming pool would be a shared space with myself

Other things to note
I stay on the property and have 2 cats and 2 dogs. They are very friendly. I keep them in my section and they will leave you to your own devices but will greet. If you wish to bring your well socialised dogs with this can be discussed. I am very strict about dogs sleeping on beds and furniture though. If any bedding is damaged it would need to be replaced. This is not a party house....the town is quiet and chilled....we like to keep it like that.
