We have a fully licenced café & farmstall at the bottom of our farm, so you can walk down [or even drive] and enjoy breakfasts, lunches, wood-fired pizzas and other yummy foods. We have a beautiful farmstall filled with lovely things to buy.

This spacious house has a large stoep with stunning mountain views and is the perfect spot from which to watch the springbok and zebras grazing while you relax next to the braai. Enjoy walks and cycling, visit historic Tulbagh or one of the many wine farms nearby.

Riverbank is situated in the Witzenberg Game Park. This spacious freestanding house sleeping up to 8 looks out over the valley and the Winterhoek mountain range.

Riverbank is a freestanding home and guests have access to the whole property. They also have access to the whole farm and large communal swimming pool. The ground floor is wheelchair friendly with a wheelchair ramp access to the house. The entire ground floor including lounge, dinningroom, kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and outside patio area have even surfaces throughout. There is also a large walk in shower and grip handles in the shower and next to the toilet to assist mobility impaired guests.

Other things to note
Unfortunately no dogs are allowed as the property is not enclosed and wildlife roam freely on the farm.

Rocky Falls Cottage is an off-grid, spacious cottage offering ideal holiday accommodation. Large enough for a family or group of friends, but still cosy enough for a couples getaway.

The space
The cottage comprises 3 bedrooms and an open plan living/ dining area and kitchen flowing on to a large stoop and is equipped with a fireplace and a wood burning hot tub. There is also a dedicated work desk upstairs.

Our waterfall is 5 minutes hike from the house and is active all year round. Guests of the reserve also enjoy exclusive access to a beautiful swimming area in the clear waters of the Witrivier.

You can choose from a variety of different hikes in the area. The Bak Kraans hike is at our doorstep and follows a trail from our waterfall to a rock formation called Bak Kraans window. Our surrounding dirt roads are also perfect for exploring on a mountain bike or morning jog.

Come and unwind in our magical valley, only an hour and 20 minutes away from Cape Town. It is the perfect, hassle free escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Other things to note
The cottage is located 2km down a small bumpy dirt road. Most vehicles won't have a problem but we recommend a vehicle with a higher clearance. Please drive slowly to avoid any mishaps.

*Due to flooding this past winter a vehicle with a high clearance is essential. If you do not have a vehicle with a high clearance let us know and we will arrange a lift up to the house for you and down again at checkout time. There is no extra fee for this.

This self-catering house is a rare gem in Bainskloof Pass waiting to be enjoyed. Includes a private river, grassy banks to picnic on all day.

You will have the most beautiful surroundings of Mount Bain Private Nature Reserve. The scenery quickly draws you in to the serenity of the Mountains, vineyards and your very own crystal clear river to bliss out in. There are few locations in the Western Cape which remain relatively undiscovered.
