The staff were also very friendly and helpful, with particular shoutout to Dominique who went above and beyond to drive us to the Abalone farm when we running late and the taxi wasn't available. The food recommendations were excellent. Unfortunately during our stay there, there was a huge storm which cut off the power outage for all of Hermanus, so we didn't have electricity and hot water, but it is no fault of the hotel itself.
