81 Coutta Street is our modern 2-bedroom full self contained cabin located within Apollo Bays most popular holiday park. Apollo Bay is a beautiful place to visit any time of year.

The cabin comprises –

• a spacious living area with lounge suite and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, split heating/cooling system and ceiling fans.

• 2 bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed and the other a bunk bed and pull out trundle. Doonas, pillows, sheets and bath towels are provided. Don't forget your beach towels.

• outside deck with views of the water, background hills and neighbouring paddocks (complete with sheep).

The accommodation was basic but more than plenty for us two adults and two children. The host (Nathan) was super lovely and responsive, and made the entire booking process exceptionally easy. The beds were reasonably comfortable and the shower was fine. Overall, an excellent accommodation from which to explore the wonderful surrounds of Apollo Bay. We were also very lucky to have got this place to make it to our Great Ocean Rd run both on Saturday and Sunday. Buses to Kennett River stopped right at the driveway. 5.    Guests are responsible for their choice of accommodation. Otway Retreats is not responsible if the style of property does not live up to guests’ expectations, therefore guests should view property listings online carefully before selecting and booking their preferred property.  Please call our office if you require clarification on any aspect of a property prior to booking. Our properties have accurate photos showing the property inclusions and the layout of the properties.
6.   Please respect the privacy of our local community and neighbours. If a guest's behaviour or noise level is unreasonable, a warning will be given and ignoring this will result in the cancellation of the booking without refund.
7.  There is a strict non-smoking policy inside the home, failure to comply will result in a minimum $300 fine. Guests may also be liable for the loss of owner's income from any future bookings affected by their actions. Guests can smoke outside, ensuring they dispose of all cigarette butts and leave no trace.
8.  Excess Rubbish Removal fees of a minimum of $90 may apply if the amount of rubbish left at the property is deemed over and above what should be reasonably expected for the length of stay and number of guests. For guests staying at Eco properties with no council rubbish collection, they will need to carefully read the rubbish and waste policy and ensure they remove rubbish in accordance with the property rules. 
9. Should pets be found in accommodation not classified as pet friendly, guests may be requested to vacate their property immediately with no refund and will be liable for additional cleaning fees at a minimum of $200.
10. Rates apply for any additional guests staying at the property that were not included as part of the original booking. Please advise Otway Retreats and make necessary payment for additional guests. Should additional unpaid guests be found, the booking may be cancelled, and you will be asked to vacate. No refund will be given.
11.   Otway Retreats properties are offered based on private, residential usage only. Large events, functions, parties and gatherings are not permitted at any Otway Retreats property under any circumstances. Should this occur, you will be requested to vacate the property immediately and your booking will be cancelled without refund. We do not accept any schoolies bookings.
12.   Guests are expected to leave the property in a neat and tidy manner on departure. This includes washing and putting away dishes, returning all items to their original position, all food items removed from fridges, barbecues cleaned, ovens and microwaves wiped out and rubbish placed in appropriate bins. Additional cleaning fees (minimum $90) may apply if the property is not left in a presentable condition.
13.   Guests are required to turn off lights, appliances and lock doors and windows upon departure. Guests must ensure all heating and AC units are off, if they are left on, guests may be charged for excess power.
14.   A minimum key replacement fee of $150 will apply if property keys are not returned on departure. Additional locksmith fees may also apply if locks require replacement due to the loss of keys and if bookings are impacted guests may be liable for loss of booking income.
15.    All properties include a full linen package including: sheets, towels, pillow cases, bath mats, hand towels, tea towels, quilts + covers for each bed. Beds will be made on arrival (excluding bunks).
16.   Otway Retreats will not be held responsible for failure of utilities, essential services or appliances such as electricity and water should they cease to function based on issues with the supplier that are beyond the control of Otway Retreats. 
17. Wifi  (where available) is provided complimentary for guest use. Guests should note that internet connection speeds vary widely according to local area availability and connection type and in many cases, data may be limited. Whilst every endeavour will be made to ensure Wi-Fi is working as intended, we cannot guarantee an available or consistent connection due to network, data or speed issues beyond our control. Outages do occur and whilst we will always try to have the connection restored, this will not always be possible. Compensation will not be considered in these circumstances as Wi-Fi is provided on a complimentary basis.
18. We recommend all guests arrive prior to 9pm given check in is via a lockbox, whilst we have an after-hours service in place, it is generally only periodically checked after 9pm and guests run the risk of not having prompt support if there is an issue with their check in process after 9pm, if guests arrive after 9am and have issues getting into the accommodation, Otway Retreats will not be liable to pay for compensation for failed access.
19. At Otway Retreats, our focus is on holiday home and Airbnb accommodations, moving away from the usual hotel setups. In line with our commitment to offering an authentic holiday home experience, we kindly advise our guests to bring along their own toiletries, beach towels, preferred food items for cooking or dining, coffee pods or beans (we're happy to help with coffee machine compatibility), sunscreen, and paper towels, as these are not provided. Additionally, feel free to bring along your favourite books or games to add to your enjoyment during your stay. It's important to remember that you're immersing yourself in a holiday home atmosphere, where our services are tailored to enhance this unique experience. While we provide essentials such as toilet paper and tea to start you off, please note that you'll need to replenish these items if they run out during your stay or you can book and pay for extra services and replenishments via our concierge.
20. Please be aware that Apollo Bay usually experiences mild summers, making air conditioning generally unnecessary. However, winters can be quite cold.

It has a heated swimming pool, undercover inflatable play area, playground, camp kitchen and laundry facilities. There are also food trucks, music, yoga, kids entertainment & activities in holiday periods and Koalas live in the trees in the park.

Cabin has direct views to the magnificent ocean across the road and also from the outside decking area. Large living/lounge area with TV and DVD player and large selection of movies, plus separate dining area. Complete kitchen, 2 fridge/freezers, microwave oven, full stove/oven, coffee machine, toasted sandwich maker, omelette maker, slow cooker pots and pans and all items needed for cooking. Full bathroom with bath, shower, basin and toilet and reverse cycle heating/cooling. The bedroom has a queen size bed and full 3 door built in robe. Sofa bed in the lounge room and also a swag if kids want to sleep outside. Comfortably sleeps 4. Large long decking area with outdoor bar setting for those afternoon drinks, BBQ and additional setting to soak up the sun. Boogie board and mountain bike also supplied for use. One car spot supplied. Complementary Wifi is provided for guests.

The cabin does not have a washing machine or dryer but there are 4 in the park laundry for a cost of $5 per use. Coins can be obtained from the office or coin machine in the camp kitchen.

The cabin is located in the first street to the right as you enter the park. Guests are to check in at Reception where the key can be collected.

20. Please be aware that Apollo Bay usually experiences mild summers, making air conditioning generally unnecessary. However, winters can be quite cold. As a rural town with a limited power grid, power outages are common, and the system cannot handle multiple small portable heaters running on high settings without tripping the power. Guests are encouraged to be mindful of this and bring plenty of extra warm clothing when traveling in winter.

HOUSE RULES

2.  A keysafe code will be provided to you to access the property via email at 9am the morning of arrival.
3.   Keys should be returned to the key safe location no later than the agreed checkout time on the day of departure. Failure to depart on time may result in extra charges and failure to return keys in the lockbox will result in extra charges.
4.   Early Check-ins and Late checkouts are subject to availability and may incur additional costs at the host discretion.
5.    Guests are responsible for their choice of accommodation. Otway Retreats is not responsible if the style of property does not live up to guests’ expectations, therefore guests should view property listings online carefully before selecting and booking their preferred property.  Please call our office if you require clarification on any aspect of a property prior to booking. Our properties have accurate photos showing the property inclusions and the layout of the properties.

7.  There is a strict non-smoking policy inside the home, failure to comply will result in a minimum $300 fine. Guests may also be liable for the loss of owner's income from any future bookings affected by their actions. Guests can smoke outside, ensuring they dispose of all cigarette butts and leave no trace.
8.  Excess Rubbish Removal fees of a minimum of $90 may apply if the amount of rubbish left at the property is deemed over and above what should be reasonably expected for the length of stay and number of guests. For guests staying at Eco properties with no council rubbish collection, they will need to carefully read the rubbish and waste policy and ensure they remove rubbish in accordance with the property rules. 
9. Should pets be found in accommodation not classified as pet friendly, guests may be requested to vacate their property immediately with no refund and will be liable for additional cleaning fees at a minimum of $200.
10. Rates apply for any additional guests staying at the property that were not included as part of the original booking. Please advise Otway Retreats and make necessary payment for additional guests. Should additional unpaid guests be found, the booking may be cancelled, and you will be asked to vacate. No refund will be given.
11.   Otway Retreats properties are offered based on private, residential usage only. Large events, functions, parties and gatherings are not permitted at any Otway Retreats property under any circumstances. Should this occur, you will be requested to vacate the property immediately and your booking will be cancelled without refund. We do not accept any schoolies bookings.
12.   Guests are expected to leave the property in a neat and tidy manner on departure. This includes washing and putting away dishes, returning all items to their original position, all food items removed from fridges, barbecues cleaned, ovens and microwaves wiped out and rubbish placed in appropriate bins. Additional cleaning fees (minimum $90) may apply if the property is not left in a presentable condition.
13.   Guests are required to turn off lights, appliances and lock doors and windows upon departure. Guests must ensure all heating and AC units are off, if they are left on, guests may be charged for excess power.
14.   A minimum key replacement fee of $150 will apply if property keys are not returned on departure. Additional locksmith fees may also apply if locks require replacement due to the loss of keys and if bookings are impacted guests may be liable for loss of booking income.
15.    All properties include a full linen package including: sheets, towels, pillow cases, bath mats, hand towels, tea towels, quilts + covers for each bed. Beds will be made on arrival (excluding bunks).
16.   Otway Retreats will not be held responsible for failure of utilities, essential services or appliances such as electricity and water should they cease to function based on issues with the supplier that are beyond the control of Otway Retreats. 
17. Wifi  (where available) is provided complimentary for guest use. Guests should note that internet connection speeds vary widely according to local area availability and connection type and in many cases, data may be limited. Whilst every endeavour will be made to ensure Wi-Fi is working as intended, we cannot guarantee an available or consistent connection due to network, data or speed issues beyond our control. Outages do occur and whilst we will always try to have the connection restored, this will not always be possible. Compensation will not be considered in these circumstances as Wi-Fi is provided on a complimentary basis.
18. We recommend all guests arrive prior to 9pm given check in is via a lockbox, whilst we have an after-hours service in place, it is generally only periodically checked after 9pm and guests run the risk of not having prompt support if there is an issue with their check in process after 9pm, if guests arrive after 9am and have issues getting into the accommodation, Otway Retreats will not be liable to pay for compensation for failed access.

There are pillows and doonas you may use at the cabin but no linen.

Extra guests also need to be registered. The cabin is perfect for a family of 4 but can take up to 7. Due to the size of the premises we would not recommend more then 4 adults to fit comfortably. Guests can access key from lock box on the premises. If collecting from Reception guests must make prior arrangements with reception if an after-hours check in will be required (after hours call out fees apply if no prior arrangements have been made).
The cabin is not managed by the Holiday Park, and as such, park management are not responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance, and upkeep of the cabin.
Linen and towels are provided for all guests. The cabin is fully self contained, please do not remove any items and leave the cabin clean and tidy. There is no smoking permitted on the premises.
Guests will be held accountable for any damage to property or contents.
Only one car can be accommodated on the site nect to the cabin on the right hand side.
No pets are permitted in the park.
No fires are permitted on this Site. There is a communal fireplace available below the playground.
The perimeter of unoccupied vans and cabins are to be left tidy, any articles left outside will be considered garbage and removed and the associated costs billed to the site holder’s account if not rectified by the site holder.
The unauthorised removal or damaging of any vegetation within the park will result in occupancy rights of a site being immediately terminated.
Please observe quiet time from 11PM to 7AM. We appreciate guests being respectful of neighbours and keep noise to a minimum.

Guest details will be provided to the Holiday Park Reception, including name and contact phone number, the number of adults and children, arrival departure date. Extra visitors also need to be registered. The cabin is perfect for a family of up to five, however due to the size, we would not recommend more than four adults to fit comfortably. Guests can access key from lock box on the premises.
Please contact us directly for any enquiries relating to the cabin. The cabin is not managed by the Holiday Park, and as such, park management are not responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance, and upkeep of the cabin.
Linen and towels are provided for all guests. The cabin is fully self-contained. Please do not remove any items, and leave the cabin clean and tidy.
Guests will be held accountable for any damage to property or contents.
One car can be accommodated on the site. No pets are permitted in the park.
No fires are permitted on this site, however there is a communal fireplace available beside the playground.
Please observe quiet time from 11pm to 7am. We appreciate guests being respectful of neighbours and keeping noise to a minimum.
Please also determine if your children are safe to sleep on a top bunk.
On departure, please put rubbish in the park rubbish disposal area, turn off all lights and heater / air conditioner, and return key to the lock box.

The space
Although in a caravan park, you are in a very quiet part of the park so sitting on the deck or back outdoor table feels very serene and secluded

Cabin sleeps 7 , A queen bed in the master bedroom, and a Tri-bed (double bed with a single bunk bed above) in second bedroom as well as another bunk bed, all linen and towels provided. Lounge, dining table, Free WIFI, TV/DVD, netflix , air conditioning and opens to a balcony with outdoor setting with ocean view. Full kitchen and bathroom. Coffee machine to get your caffeine fix !

We provide portacot and high chair, free of charge. We just ask you to bring your own cot sheets. Please note that the portacot does not fit in the rooms . We have also provided a kids bed rail in second bedroom

We also provide toys and activities for the kids to enjoy whilst staying in the cabin.

There is a drive way that fits two cars easily .

You will have private access to your house and shared access to all the park facilities during your stay.

The cabin is a 15-20 minute walk into the town along the beach side trail.

Apollo Bay

Apollo Bay has some of the most beautiful beaches along the great ocean road. Apollo Bay is also situated in the beautiful Otways.

If you enjoy hiking , you are spoilt for choice for hiking trails along the great ocean road, in the Otways and Redwood forrests.

There is a fantastic kid safe beach inside the sea wall. Apollo Bay is approximately 45 minute drive to the 12 apostles .

Apollo Bay has a range of cafes, bars restaurants, breweries and some of the freshest sea food on the east coast.

LINEN SUPPLIED We supply: sheets, pillow cases and towels for each guest. However it is important to note that beds will not be made upon your arrival and you will need to make the beds yourselves prior to sleeping. By supplying linen we are able to keep the tariff and additional charges low by keeping rates you pay to a minimum - however if you wish to have beds made up on your arrival there will be an additional fee for our cleaners to do this. Please confirm if you would like beds made up before you arrive. We also supply bath mats, hand towels and tea towels

'Driftwood' is our cherished beachside holiday cabin with stunning ocean views one side and beautiful rolling hills the other. Located in a popular holiday park on the Great Ocean Road, it is the perfect base to explore all the natural wonders of Apollo Bay and surrounding sights. The park has wonderful facilities, including a heated swimming pool, adventure playground, games room, basketball half court, communal fire pit and more. Seasonal activities include live music and twilight cinema.

The space
A perfect place for families to relax and have fun by the beach. Our cabin provides accommodation for up to 6 guests and features two bedrooms, one containing a queen bed and one with four single bunk beds.

The living area provides comfort all year round with a split system heating and AC unit, ceiling fan and a gas fire heater. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare your own meals and the convenience of a microwave and dishwasher. The cabin also has a washing machine and dryer.

The balcony is a lovely spot to sit back and take in the ocean views and sea air or fire up the gas BBQ with a cold one in hand.

There is a fire place indoors to get cosy on those wintery days and a fire pit outside for sitting under the stars. When you come back from the beach you can use the outdoor shower and stay connected to the elements.

My coastal escape cabin is across the road from the Ocean. It is a accessible location in a convenient street in the park accommodating couples or families who need a safe, welcoming area with immaculate kept amenities ensuring an entertaining stay with ample play space, heated pool, laundry facilities and BBQ sheltered areas to relax and unwind with company of others if you wish. A short walk along the walking track will lead you to the shops, eateries and entertainment. Apollo Bay is the perfect place for you to feel revitalized and energized by taking the time to stay in the Bay and explore the natural beauty surrounding you. Only short distances to other major attractions like the Otway Fly and Stevenson's Falls.
Experience a breath taking birds-eye-view of the magnificent Otway Ranges from the World’s tallest treetop walk. The 600 metre-long, 25 metre-high elevated walkway provides unrivalled views of the unique beauty of the region’s flora and fauna, from the rainforest floor up into the soaring heights of the treetops.
Don’t miss the 45 metre tall Spiral Tower and the cantilever perched above Young’s Creek – a truly exhilarating experience as you gently sway with the rainforest canopy.
The Rainforest and Treetop Walk is 1.9km and takes approximately 1 hour to complete The Treetop Walk operates in most weather conditions – open rain, hail or shine! A courtesy shuttle service between the Visitor Centre and the Treetop Walk runs every hour, on the hour between 10 am and 4 pm and is available to assist the mobility impaired.
Stevenson Falls is a 15m waterfall on the Gellibrand River accessed on a short 500m return walk in the Colac Otway Shire near Beech Forest and Apollo Bay. Take it all in and enjoy with your loved ones.

Other things to note
Glamping tents and a multi purpose building are positioned close near the front of the space. The building is available for guests to enjoy yoga, BBQ or entertainment offered from the park. Space is relaxing with many activities for families to explore.
